Roverwest Dog Park

I have been going here for the past two years with my Irish Wolfhound and really do find it enjoyable. The people are nice and the dogs are well-behaved. You start to integrate into the Roverwest community.

5 WOOFS! My favorite park in Milwaukee; it's good for humans, too! I run and play with my friends. Friday evenings are extra popular and a bunch of humans hang out while we dogs do our thing

Roverwest is a reeeallly nice dog park! It's literally the size of a Milwaukee city block. Fenced in, of course, with two airlocks in either side of the park. Tons of tennis balls, water dishes, poo bags, etc!
All of that right in the middle of the city, the neighborhood..
Tons of room to run, and always some shade for the big doggos that need to chill for a bit.

Entirely fenced!! Such a wonderful, large space for pups to explore and socialize :) We are so lucky to have such a dog park so close to us!

Open park with few trees and very little shade. Good place to let your dog run. This park can be very muddy with too much rain.

Free parking and very spacious! We live just five minutes down the road, so we can't wait to go back. Moved here from Chicago where dog parks don't have grass, so it is great to have a softer landscape for my pup.

Every human is really friendly! All of the dogs get along great! I have a 60lb pit who LOVES to play and she was very welcomed there! No body discriminated against her and everyone said how happy she looked! It gets very icy in the winter so be careful. When we left our girls paws and chin were ripped up from falling and the sharp ice. A great place to bring friendly dogs!

Rover West is the best dog park in Milwaukee right here in River West. You can see your dog at all times, it's very social, and there's enough area for them to play with baggies for pickup. Right around the corner is a local bar that offers the dogs little bones as treats. Personally I love it cuz it's only a couple blocks away from home. People bring their dogs from all over Milwaukee to this park.

Great dog park & huge in size; it's a full block! Tons of neighbors and dogs of all sizes welcome I've seen a mastiff play with a pretty to. Just saying. Afternoons from 3pm through dusk this place will be packed daily.

I loved this park my dogs loved the other dogs there it was spacious and was very clean! Will definitely go again!

I want to apologize to everyone who put up with my baby Ali. I bought him into a home where the real dog stands on two legs. He is really a sweetheart.

Nice spot for Spot. Just a simple square block of grass. Plenty of room for the dogs to play, chuck-it-stick friendly. No walking trails tho. You may want to bring your boots in spring cuz it gets a bit muddy.

The regulars sure do love their dogs. Not too big of a space but the owners are more chill than a lot of other dog parks. Everyone I've talked to there gets that dogs are dogs and they are going to run and growl and wrestle and be goofy.

This was a nice dog park, but it is really only for large dogs. My dog weighs 20lbs and was chased by the larger dogs as they snipped at him. He just wanted to run and play like the other dogs. Great for the larger dogs. Not great for the small fluffy dogs.

We love it here. There are always dogs, even this winter when it was -10. We always stop at Black Husky afterwords too once our boy has gotten most of his energies out. It's a Sunday ritual.

Spacious, tall fences for big dogs, airlock system, friendly and quiet. Small and large dogs, water bowls and a bench. Roughly four football fields in area. All flat ground with grass

Great place for Poochie to run and play! Everyone's stellar about cleaning up after their mutts: chased Poochie all over the park in the dark and never got a spec of doo-doo on my boots. Props to the dog-owning population of Riverwest!

My pup loves this place. The other dogs are friendly and most owners are responsible and watchful.

People were nice and dogs were friendly. People took care of their dogs when they weren't nice to others. We were worried about bringing our dog here for the first time but we didn't need to worry! Friendly people.

This place is flawless. Everything from the valet parking to the service to the food to the restroom far exceeded my expectations. The food is simply exquisite and pleases the palate and soul. Really cannot day enough positive things about it.
