Samoset Council, Boy Scouts of America

I have camped here for years starting as a boy in Scouts and especially love winter camping here. At the time each troop were on their own to organize and rent out the facility. Although there was larger Rib Mountain district and council activities including jamborees held here.

Convenient, gated campground next to nice council office building and Scout Shop.

Very nice, clean winter camping facility. I have visited this camp several times and been pleased with the facilities each time. It is conveniently close (15 minutes away) to Granite Peek ski resort and a good scout experience.

It was a good experience. The people there were very helpful with everything that I needed.

A great place to teach boys and equip them for manhood. Some young men stay in this program for decades, and go on to teach other boys the lessons they themselves have learned.

Great staff and great programs for all, including the adult BSA programs! Well worth the 8 hour drive.
