Lion's Tooth

Lions tooth is a nice little local book store! It's a bit compact bit very clean and has a nice pleasant atmosphere to it! Service was very good at the front, no complaints there! Selection of books and comics was varied and interesting to say the least! It was a short but good visit at Lions Tooth and I'd say if you're in the area to give it a visit!

Fantastic selection of zines, graphic novels, and local artwork. Their novel selection, while not extensive, is curated well with unique and interesting finds. Their small space packs punch with a cozy seating area, and you can grab a drink too! Come for the one of a kind selection and stay for stickers!

This is an awesome book store! Came in with my boyfriend and the entire store was a great place to spend time at! Seeing all the decor and colorful walls and books and such was great! Would recommend visiting if you get the chance 👍🏼

This place is truly a home for graphic novel nerds and nonfiction nerds alike. It’s also a loyal friend to local authors. I have purchased so many books from here and feel like my world has grown because of it.

A shop after my own heart. Y’all please always support and CELEBRATE indies like this. The curation and compassion and skill that goes into creating such a warm yet sharply antiracist establishment is not lost on me. The selection is intimate and familiar, like a favorite sweater, yet . We need spaces like this in every corner of life. Thank you for renewing my faith in the book selling community. 💕

Really great people, awesome graphic novel collection. Very diverse and inclusive collection! They had a visiting artist when I went and the event was so friendly and welcoming! Really love this place, can’t wait to go back

My favorite book store of all time ❤ highly curated, new titles of the highest caliber. Only the best for lions tooth. In addition they are one of the only places in the city that carry indie publishers and zines, with a wonderful rotating selection. You can 100% get lost in here. The owners always have fantastic conversation too. I was referred by a friend who said it was their favorite store, I have now referred it to others who say it’s their favorite. Go here!!!!!!

Awesome cool book store with lots of Zines and comics. They support the local Art scene and have books that are banned and hard to find. Don't visit this area without stopping in.

Found this place while out for brunch. They have a large selection of zines, books, graphic novels and art.

Best book store hands down. Chris (hope that's correct) is sweet, super interesting and very cultured. She owned a cafe/book store in Brazil if I remember correctly. My nieces Rena and Alyssa ❤ their purchases. Wish we could hang out there more and plan to do so soon. Support Lions Tooth (love the cartoon Lion 🦁 stickers. I want the long pull out book on WWII.

This store is LOVELY!!! Finally got to make it down to Lions Tooth and I had the best experience!! This store is full of hidden gems and beautiful art. My favorite little thing was the buckets full of indie comics and zines (with so many made by local artists!!!). The service was lovely and it has a wonderful atmosphere. I’m very excited to come back again and again(especially for happy hour!).

Absolutely amazing indie owned bookshop. Plus, they have coffee and drinks inside and you know that your money is going to good places here. This will be my new, regular bookstore!

Popped into today after walking by many times. It has to be my new favorite book store in bayview. The woman working was very conversational and knowledgeable. This shop has such a unique selection of books and graphic novels. Can't wait to stop by again. Definitely joining the newsletter.

Well, after going here for the 3rd time I am finally writing a review. I love bookstores and I have never met a bookstore that seemed to have the exactly right book I never knew I was looking for...until now! I love this place and would spend all my money here if I could. Come check out this place!

This place has so many good books to choose from! I actually had to come back a few days later to purchase another book I regretting didn't buy prior. The person in the store was very knowledgeable about the books and authors and you could tell they genuinely loved what they do. Will be visiting again in the future!

Love this new bookshop edition to the bay view community! A specially curated book selection allows for new discoveries on subjects essential for the modern day reader. The shopkeeper was super friendly and willing to help with any questions I could’ve had. They’re hoping to expand out and have shows someday, and I hope they can! We need more of these spaces!

This is the type of bookstore that I've been looking for! If you're into books of all genres that aren't always prominently displayed in other larger bookstores, this is the place for you! Great art, book selection, and atmosphere! Recommend for any bookie!
