Sylvan Hill Park

It's absolutely beautiful! Great hiking and biking trails. Scenic and peaceful. Could definitely spend a day with your family and friends. Picnic areas and a playground for kids.

I love going here with my younger brothers. Expect to get wind burnt quickly going downhill so bring snow goggles and dress warm. I recommend bringing 5$ per person because you are going to be cold and hungry when you are done.

Beautiful hiking and mountain biking. Wintertime tubing hill. Kind of hidden, but worth checking out, for sure.

Sylvan was designed and built by Aaron Rogers nuf said. This place is rad. Fish Hook is the real deal. Mini Cooper Harbor Over Flow right here in Wausau. Build up to Fish Hook and roll every trail before ripping.

If you want to have fun in winter than you really must go tubing here. It’s a blast and the old fashioned lodge with huge fireplace is perfect for warming up. I highly recommend.

Great experience! Friendly staff! Our almost 7 year old absolutely loved it. You can go down individually or as a group (if your kiddos are a little skidish about going down by themselves). Our guy is a little bigger so it wasn't an issue but for reference the minimum height is 42". There are bottoms of the tubes, so no worries about falling through. Lines were a little long, but nothing unreasonable. Not having to walk up the hill is underrated! Our son enjoyed the ride up as much as down! Great family fun!

What a blast! This is a must to go place if you want to go snow tubing. The runs are unbelievably awesome! My family loves going here in the winter. The concession are very reasonable and the fire place is very nice to warm up to. Highly recommend to put in your bucket list!!!

One of the best Snow Tubing hills I've been to. It is not free but worth every dollar.

A fun downhill place for a beginner or an advanced rider. Also has a pump track and skills area to keep you inspired and working on improvement. Happy to see there is a portopotty at the top!

We had a Blast tonight at Sylvan!!!! My family had sooo much fun!! The temperature was 14 degrees, perfect weather for tubing.The runs didn't take you quite as far as other times but the new snow played a huge factor in that. Gotta love Mother Nature!!! 😊 The staff on the other hand was very fun and entertaining. A big shout out to workers: Justin (aka Bob), John, Aaron, Ben, and Tyler. We would gladly come back anytime when they are working!!!!

First time my daughter and I went tubing together. Love the huge fire place to warm up by, Everyone seemed to have trouble sliding all the way to the end of the run.. Not sure if it was the snow condition or tubes or operator error, never the less still had a blast! Look forward to going again!

My favorite place to take my dog for walks. Just beautiful and peaceful.

Most fun I've had on two wheels! Be sure to bring a helmet and have your bike in top operating condition before attempting. Trails are well groomed and clearly marked for quick identification. Definitely recommend!
