Deep Roots Massage

I highly recommended Shannon at Deep Roots. I think of her as massage artist rather than just massage therapist. As I told her at my most recent visit, "It's not just massage, it's a whole thing". She takes the time to check in before each appointment and connect any issues outside physical concerns to the mind/body/spirit. Sessions are different each time, and she uses intuition combined with a variety of treatment modalities. After a session I notice I feel lighter, more at ease, and more accepting of what is happening in life.

WOW!!!! This was my first massage, and it was life changing!!! Shannon is an incredibly talented massage therapist. I walked in with aches and pains, and with knots in my back, when I left, I felt like I could do a cartwheel. It's all set in a very relaxing atmosphere. I am hooked!

This was my first experience with Deep Roots Massage, and it will definitely not be my last. The place was very clean and atmosphere was calming. I saw Stephen for a 90 minute full body massage. When I walked in, he was incredibly welcoming, professional, and gave a very calming presence. He released tension from areas I did not even know were tight! He even relieved tightness and knots that were hidden in my face and deep in my shoulder area. I left the appointment feeling so wonderful and relaxed. The price of the massage was very reasonable and worth every penny. I cannot recommend Stephen enough and will be telling my friends in the area to go to him as well!

Just moved to Milwaukee and I have been to several massage places in the last couple of months. It is difficult to find one where you feel safe, and the masseuse having a healing energy vibe. I found deep roots massage, and made an appointment with Stephen. The room super was very clean, this place had a nice peaceful, calming energy as soon as you walk in. Had the best 90min deep tissue massage session. I will be back for sure.

I had a wonderful experience at Deep Roots massage, and my massage with Stephen was absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had. I used to get massages regularly in chicago and had a place that I absolutely loved, but since moving to Milwaukee early in the pandemic after my daughter was born, I had yet to try out a new spot and was honestly hesitant to do so! My husband got me a gift certificate to deep roots for Mother’s Day and I’m so happy to have found this place right in our neighborhood. The place itself is peaceful and clean, and my masseuse Stephen really took time to get to know me and what I was looking for. It was one of the most personalized massages I’ve ever experienced—it was clear he was really paying attention and in tune to what my body needed and took time to focus on certain muscles/areas that felt tight or in need of attention, rather than just going through the motions of a standard 60-minute massage. I will absolutely be back and will be sure to book with Stephen again!

Today was my first massage I’ve had professionally. Shannon was amazing, the massage gave me goosebumps right away, and I only took a ten minute time slot. I made sure to book another hour-long appointment right away before I left. I am very happy with Shannon, the aura of the studio , and her immediately calming presence. I can’t say enough good things about Deep Roots Massage! Thank you so much for helping my back loosen up and feel so much better!

Got a 60 minute massage with Shannon and loved it! She took time at the beginning to walk me through what to expect and ask me about my health history and any sensitivities that would affect my experience. After that, I was able to completely settle in and relax. I was encouraged to speak up at any time if anything needed to be adjusted (temperature, massage pressure, etc.) but I ultimately didn't need to, as the experience was well-tailored to my needs from start to finish.

The studio space was warm and welcoming, and I really appreciated all the COVID-19 safety regulations in place. Masks stayed on at all times and I took my post-massage tea to go.

I will note: appointment slots can be limited. I got my gift card to Deep Roots in early December and the first opening I could find was for mid-February. But it was so worth the wait and I've already booked my next session!

Literally the best massage I’ve ever gotten! Stephan was amazing! Will absolutely be back! I normally don’t like to get massages with men but he made me feel comfortable and really targeted all my places of tension. Would recommend!

I went to my first massage today. It was very relaxing, the atmosphere is definitely calm and tranquil. My masseuse walked me through the process first then made sure I knew how it was going to be conducted. I will be back soon and highly recommend this place.

I have had two massages from Frank. Both times I have left feeling SO relaxed and loose. Frank is a great communicator and really focuses on what’s been causing you discomfort. I’ve already noticed a change in my posture. I feel energized through my work week in a really refreshing way. Would recommend to anyone!

Visited Deep Roots for the first time for a 1-hour massage with Veronica. She spent time beforehand to ask about my previous experiences receiving massage and what areas I'd like particular attention on that day. I left feeling fantastic. Wonderful experience.

To put it frankly, Shannon is by far, the very best. The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is relaxing and tranquil and only gets better in the personal massage area. I've seen Shannon for a massage and won't trust anyone else with my eyebrows. I refer anyone I know to go to Deep Roots Massage - you won't go anywhere else after you do.

I received a 90min massage from Tracy and I DIED. So good. I asked her to go deep on my shoulders, arms and hands and she totally killed it! Its very rare for me to not want more after my time is up, but she did so well that I was like "yep, that was perfect." She also hit the rest of my body just enough where nothing felt neglected. The experience of the massage was great too. She used oils that helped me completely relax mentally and physically. The music was great too. I feel so good and Im so excited to go back in four weeks!!

Went in for a sinus treatment and it was fantastic! Left feeling cleansed and healthy. Bought some lavender rub to continue treating my sinus issues at home. Had a great experience with a chair massage on a previous visit as well.

I love the product Relieve Me. It really helps keep my back pain under control with out taking pharmaceucicals. I would recommend the product Relieve Me to anyone that has chronic pain. I love the way it comes in a roll on and all I have to do is roll it on my skin.
