Great sandwiches and desserts! I was shocked at how quickly they were able to turn around an order for takeout. Both staff members I’ve met have been very friendly.

I stopped in this morning for the first time and got an iced chai latte and a cinnamon roll, both of which were great. It was also cool to see artwork from local artists displayed on the wall.

Located in a charming area downtown. Love this place! Has 3 tables outdoors and limited seating indoors. Coffee, desserts, breakfast bakery, soups, and a wide variety of sandwhiches...all fresh and from scratch! Both of our choices were great! PLUS frozen meals & soups! Always a stop when driving through Wausau.

DELICIOUS!! I loved this little deli ! homemade and to die for foods and bakery items. Their soups and sandwiches as well as coffee and baked goods were mouth watering good.
They also had this amazing to go fridge for take home and cook meals. Wish I lived closer so I could have bought a few. Definitely reccomend

La Prima is one of those great places that, no matter how many times you go, it never gets boring or cliche. Everything is flavorful, delicious, and tastes like it was made fresh just for you. Which it was. The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile. The vibe of the place is super cool and eclectic. Stop there for lunch and you're guaranteed to make the rest of your day better.

Looks more lile a coffee shop but they have a pretty extensive sandwhich menu, too, with some unique options-served on great bread & buns. Very fresh ingredients. Nice selection of breakfast baked goods & desserts. To-go entrees in cooler looked very good. Indoor seating along with a few tables outside. They are a block from the big city park so it would be easy to get your order to go and walk there for a picnic.

Started and finished our search for a wedding caterer here after one sandwich. First time ever working with a caterer. From start to finish all the angles were laid out in advance and questions I didn't even know of were answered. The food was divine even after traveling 50+ miles. Everything was perfect. No one left hungry. Can't speak highly enough of Rollinda and her team there. Please stop in and see what in on the menu. You won't be disappointed!

The Nutty Chicken wrap was delicious and one of their top choices.... The siciliano was exactly what was expected and satisfying. Goodness. The hot sandwiches looked like a good choice and is for our next visit. 3/24 got a too go order of meatball bomber and sausage bomber. Go with only meatball... sausage was good but meatballs were better

Love La Prima! The best lattes in town as well as the best bakery. Soups are good and can't wait to try some more main dishes. Only downsides are that the crowd can be a bit odd and it can be a bit chilly in the winter.

This is hands down one of my favorite coffee shops in the area! The vibe is extremely pleasant and emulates an Italian deli perfectly. Local art is sold and put on display here encouraging the local artists to get themselves out there. Events posters can always be found :) I really love the suspended coffee system and think it's really good, small contribution to our community. Coffee is decent and the list of flavors seems endless. My favorite coffee to get there is by far the banana creme mocha macchiato, the banana flavor is very prominent and mingles well with the bitter coffee. 10/10 it's my go to coffee shop

Their sandwiches, bakery & drinks are amazing. Savory, sweet and seditious against the ordinary!! I don’t know how they charge so little yet offer so much!! My salivary glands, my prefrontal cortex and my GSI doctor all thank you. Mmmmmm!!

Good meals and nice service. Cute little place. We found it just walking around town looking for a cafe for a tea. Glad we stopped I tried the soup and my roommate tried a calzone. Wish I had one in my little town back home. Will definitely return someday.

La Prima Deli serves cuisine that is out of this world! Not to mention the matchless service they always provide. Their food is exquisite and could stand on its own, but it’s Rollie and her staff that make you feel like you are truly special and your request is the most important that they have ever provided for. They deliver in a timely fashion and always with a humble, grateful attitude. La Prima Deli truly is one of the finest in the Wausau metropolitan area!!

Amazing catering, they did my grad party a few summers ago! You have to get their coffee and try their canolis. This is a family run, ethical, loving business.

Driving from Michigan to Minnesota, and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stop for lunch! Marvelous sandwiches, desserts, and service. A world away from the fast-food chains we thought we’d be stuck with. Live long and prosper, La Prima!

Extremely polite and wonderful employees. Everyone makes you feel like you are family. Great atmosphere and excellent food, can't go wrong with take out, staying, with or without kids.

Perfect little cafe to stop in at while on a cross state drive. Food was delicious. Staff was the most friendly. It’s worth grabbing a pastry for the road even if you’re not hungry.

Absolutely one of my favorite lunch spots in Wausau. Everything I've eaten is delicious. Stellar coffee and baked goods.

They bring their services often to work. Like turkey sangawich and soups are great especially on a cold day. Comparable prices. Love this place!
