Bucktales Cantina & Grill

We had a great dinner here tonight, very impressed with the level of food. Our server/bartender Justin was on top of everything and had some great jokes taboot! The rest of the staff were awesome too. We started with margaritas, those were amazing, very refreshing. In house chips are fantastic. the El Gordo with barbacoa was unreal, loaded with meat and rice, the queso on top made the burrito. The taco salad has incredible meat that is seasoned so well with a little kick to it, and it was loaded with fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and perfectly fried shell! 11/10 would recommend. Will be back next time we are in Superior.

My husband and I absolutely loved the atmosphere here! They have dim lighting, not overly loud music, super comfy chairs, and great service! The nacho fries were delicious! The Mexican food was good. The price was ridiculously good! The drinks are too strong to taste the other flavors, but next time I'll ask for less alcohol in them. They have nice bathrooms, lottery in the back, a choice of table or bar to sit at, tvs next to most tables, and a strangely placed stuffed deer on the counter. Overall great place! The parking was great too! Right next to it and a large parking lot!

We traveled about 4 hrs and stopped in superior. We stumbled into bucktales and were very impressed! We ordered poutine and a pizza, both came out very quickly and delicious! The music was really fun. Could definitely stop for some margaritas and get trashy with the girls some day, but it's also family friendly. Great service too!

Got to say the Mexican food is pretty good. I'm from Texas and usually not satisfied with Mexican food up north. Staff were polite and fast service. Atmosphere is nice also. Only thing I can say to jazz it up more is take some homemade Salas to go with the Mexican food. But not a deal killer.

Good food options, including gluten free options and reasonable prices. We've been visiting since they were located out in the Town of Superior. We always come back.

My husband and I met at Shortys in 2020 and were devastated when they closed shortly after. We use to say we’d never get to go back to the place we met. But when Bucktails moved into the building we couldn’t be happier. My husband is a huge fan of American food, and I could eat Mexican food everyday, all day. Having both on their menu, we found our new favorite spot. When we got married, we knew we wanted to celebrate where we met, and Bucktails was more than happy to make that possible. We had a party of roughly 50 people who were ALL impressed by the food and service. Staff was amazing to work with and were so great the entire night. When food ran out, they were quick to throw more in the oven for us and bring it out. They had had pool, darts, and karaoke. Everyone had such an amazing time. I can’t recommend this place enough!! Thank you Dee and everyone at Bucktails. We will never forget our incredible wedding celebration with you!!

We only stopped because they had a sign saying $3 Moscow mules. I had never had one but it was amazing! We got a chicken quesadilla appetizer to split. The food came out quickly and was very flavorful, authentic Mexican food. Great service, we will definitely be stopping again! A very pleasant surprise, so glad we stopped!

Claire was AMAZING! The place was busy and she didn’t kiss a beat. She loves her job & you can tell. The food was delicious & we will be back again!

Incredible food, great prices and excellent service. If you are in the Duluth area, I would highly recommend crossing the bridge and visiting this restaurant.

First time here! Amazing place! Delicious food. The perfect little eating nook. Comfortable and cozy. Friend ordered Nachos. I had taco salad. Best food I've tasted in a long time. I will definitely be coming back.

Nice country setting, you get friendly, laid back people out for a nice enjoyable time. Excellent margaritas, delicious authentic mexican food. Dee run runs a very clean place, hires friendly wait staff. Had a great time with my wife and daughter

We had a group of 9 for lunch. Chips and salsa were excellent. We ordered 4 large pizzas and drinks. Pizzas were done quickly and everyone thought they were delicious. Our waitress was excellent!

The staff were very upbeat and friendly. The food is delicious. I had the fish tacos and my Dad had the enchiladas suiza. Two things I really liked about the food was it was not greasy and the portion sizes were not huge. I felt like the food was light and fresh. It was nice to have food that was well prepared and flavorful.
