Dryy Union Market District

This place is great and has excellent customer service! I recently purchased a dress and upon receiving it, the zipper was broken without ever having worn it. I took a chance on Dryy Drop to get it repaired, and I am happy to report that it was and really quickly. There was a hiccup with my order, but Sandy immediately addressed it. I’m very happy with their services, and I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Everything has been great! We’ve sent a lot of clothing to Dryy over the past 1.5y, either for dry cleaning or for tailoring. I have no complaints. All my items get cleaned, everything is done in a few days.

I’ve been using Dryy since they opened and never had a problem. I like the texts when my clothes are ready, and they’ve done a nice job on some minor alterations. Always super quick in and out.

Friendly service and high-quality cleaning. My clothes always come back looking great. They are excellent at cleaning stains and replacing missing buttons with exactly the same button, even branded ones.

Peter is very friendly and helpful. Dryy is reasonably priced, fast and succeeded at removing the stain from my clothes.

Good services. Just a heads up that the prices were updated in December 2022 and the prices listed on the website are not accurate.

Expensive (prices do not match what they have listed on the website) and no communication. If you email them, don’t expect them to respond. They stole my jacket, have emailed twice and left a voicemail with no response. Another time, I had someone else shirt in my dry cleaning and I tried to let them know so I could return it and they never got back to me.

Make sure to give them a call before driving to their business. They have odd hours and even when you go at the listed hours, you might get a closed door with a note on it saying: I will be back shortly, which is never actually shortly.

This place is operationally challenged to say the least - the hours posted on their website and on Google and Apple Maps do not match their actual hours. Don’t try calling them either because the phone number on their website is out of service and the employee inside the storefront says they don’t have a phone. I’ve been telling them about the hours mismatch for over a year now and it’s still not fixed. I’ll be happy to remove this review if the issue is finally addressed.

Wow I thought it was just me and a few flukes, but after reading this I now realize they actually don't clean spots/stains but actually seal them in and charge you double when you send them back despite ruining the clothes. Won't be going here any more!

Lost my clothes three times. They returned one shirt ripped and damaged beyond repair 3 months later. Just destroyed one of my blankets. I’m trying to get my dress and another blouse back from them. I suppose this is what I get for being lazy.

Don’t take your clothes here if you care about them. I used this location recently after trying the Navy Yard location, which ruined my blouse (foolishly thought it was just that location). This location broke the button on a silk blouse and left a green spot on another silk blouse. Just awful.

I had a similar experience as some others who have posted; one of my brand new wool jackets was damaged and shrunk. When I called and attempted to leave voicemails, I never got a call back and at several points the phone line disconnected. I have tried to reach out to the business by email (as is directed on their website) three times over the last 7 days and they have not responded. It has been 15 days since my jacket was returned damaged and no response from dryy. I would avoid this service. I understand damage can happen but the lack of customer service and lack of ability to respond is concerning.

Literally the absolute worst, I will NEVER EVER use the lockers EVER again! 2 of my silk tops were ruined, 1 of my dresses came back with what looked like blood all over the side. My fiancé’s suit pants came back without a zipper, stains on multiple of his shirts, and one of his shirts came back ripped. And then we didn’t receive our items back for two weeks, zero communication from the company on what the issue was. We reached out about the clothing and they just said “oh send it back and we will try again.” How about no, thank you!

This dry cleaner does not work for me. On multiple occasions my clothes have come back messed (color distorted and some clothes have shrunk).
