Blue Boy Dairy Treat Store

My family and I look forward to this place every summer! There is a huge selection of both ice cream and food. We have never been disappointed by anything we have ordered. Everyone who works there is friendly, and my kids love playing the games they have. Blue Boy is a place you have to visit when you're in Beaver Dam!

Loved coming here ever since I was a kid. They give you a huge amount of ice cream for even just a "single scoop" size. We love taking people here for the first time and warning them about the double scoop sizes, since they are absolutely massive. They usually then order the double and don't know what they're getting themselves into, it's hilarious.

A fun stop in Beaver Dam for old fashioned cones, malts, and treats. Drive-through and outdoor window ordering if you don't want to come inside. The posters inside have been up for years and they really add to the ambiance.

Always have a good experience here. Staff are friendly, there are many options to choose from, and the food is always good.

Been going here my entire life. Since the old location near the Jack and Jill grocery store. Love this local ice cream shop!

Love this place so much! Been coming here for so many years now...like 15 years at least.
The most delicious soft serve ice cream is here. I always get a medium or large twist cone.. (vanilla & chocolate swirled together).
My most favorite treat of all here though has to be the ORIGINAL SLUSH PUPPY drinks!! They always have my favorite flavor, blue raspberry, and it's the best! Brings back childhood memories whenever I have a Slush Puppy slush.
I beg you, Blue Boy, please don't ever get rid of the Slush Puppy!!
Their food is awesome here, too. Hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. Check out their menu when you get here.

it's just fun to visit, staff is attentive, funny, and seem to enjoy what they're doing. and the ice cream is delish.

We are from Alabama but in the area for work. Our Fur Baby, Suki, insisted that we take her to get a pup cup. Well it was an instant success! We now have been several times and every time has been amazing! The staff is super friendly and always smiling. We love it. Going to be sad when we leave.

Love their menu options and how fresh the good tastes. I'm a big fan of candy flavored ice cream and they do it right -- crushed and mixed well.
Definitely recommend!! Just wish there were outdoor seating.

Excellent service , felt like I was back in my childhood in the 1970s. They had all kinds of wonderful old fashioned ice cream from the past , meaning 1960s , 1970s and 1980s - that you can't buy today anywhere today. There is a very wide variety of food served there as well and seating inside was awesome. It was very clean and cute inside. There are bathrooms too. Now Blue Boy is one of our favorite ice cream Shoppes in Wisconsin. WE LOVE YOU BLUE BOY DAIRY TREAT STORE !!! 🍨💖😀

I have been coming here for literally 40 years and the place is just as fantastic now as it was then. We moved from Beaver Dam several years ago but still make at least one trip back to this place every summer. Now my son has fallen in love with the place!! All items are great but the twinkle coat twist cones are a slice of heaven! Excellent service. I could write a novel about the place---one of my favorite places in the world!!

I look forward to every spring seeing the same faces at our local ice cream store! This is a fan favorite we will say! The service is great, the ice cream is yummy and the food choices are also wonderful! The store is clean, kept up well and gives you that feeling of being home! The decor is great and I hope it never changes! Wonderful establishment!!

Our visit tonight was great. It's fun to take our grand daughters now and then. Our children loved the Ice Cream and food. Delicious Burgers, French Fries and Ice Cream treats.

The best ice cream shop in town. Fast friendly service, great prices and large selection . This is by far way better than Dairy Queen or Annabell's. We have been going here for year's . And have never had a bad experience.

Delicious food, especially the onion rings and the gigantic soft pretzels! The twist cones are amazing! My husband ordered a huge root beer float, and the amount of yummy root beer and creamy vanilla ice cream was amazing for the price!

A family favorite and tradition! My son used to save his birthday money for opening day. Today was his first time back there after being out of state for 11 years. Made my heart so warm to go there today with him.

I love the place and they do have good ice cream and other foods come to beaver dam Wisconsin and give it a try you will love it to the point you will come back when you feel like ice cream on the brain

Great place for a dessert. It was too bad the seating area was closed. We're visiting friends and it would of been nice to sit and visit with them. They didn't have enough help. I hope they find some help.
