Black Jack

If you are coming to Black jack or Pearl dive make sure you ask for Eddie. His accommodations to my family really made our happy hour experience that much better. The bar area of Pearl Dive was busy but he was able to get us a table upstairs and still the perks of the HH menu. Everyone was happy and he made a really good Old Fashion. All the food was good but the wood grilled oysters were a hit. I can’t wait to come back soon!

I had a lovely time here at Black Jack, upstairs from Pearl Dive Oyster Bar. The downstairs was incredibly crowded but luckily upstairs had a much more spacious and classy vibe. Cool red leather decor, high ceilings, very attentive bar staff, and delicious food. I was really impressed and happy I stumbled in here. I will definitely be back as soon as I am in the area to try their full menu!

I had the best solo date here. Cam the bartender was awesome. I told him it was my first time he made me feel like a regular. I was amazed at his bartenders skills . Everyone from the door guy to severs were welcoming. The oyster was bomb. Please try the mussels phenomenal. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience on a solo date.

Some of the best bar service in the area! Friendly staff and friendly people to hang out with and talk about anything. The food is super excellent here as well if you are in a snacking mood.

Ok lets talk about BJ. Not that bj. Black jack is great. Good mix of music and the bartender both eddie and cam are amazing. They really give the place the life it needs. Drinks arent crazy expensive for DC and they are actually GOOD. I always find myself having a fantastic time here.

came here for happy hour and was not disappointed!! we got a side fries which were so good and it’s just what u imagine when u order fries - i feel like some places don’t put enough effort in their fries/are doing too much - and also ordered the oyster specials for the day which were sooo good. eddy was great at helping us choose the oysters and explaining the taste/origin! absolutely loved everything about
blackjack!!

Absolutely the most favorite happy hour in DC on Sundays. It's all day. Oysters, and all menu items are reduced price. Dive burger is heaven. All this in a dimly lit atmosphere is the best way to mentally prepare for the Monday ahead.

I mostly just come here for the Sunday happy hours. Cheap oysters and pizzas, both of which are good. Also the beer deals are GREAT. High quality drafts for half price. Only the one TV so not great for sports watching or I'd be here every sunday during football season.

Awesome bar! All of the staff, manager included were friendly and conversing with us. Shout out to Kevin and Terrance who made the night extra fun with jokes, talks about sports and drink recommendations. I would definitely recommend this bar to others and I for sure will be back!

I love this bar. It has a great atmosphere and a solid happy hour deal. Plus, their food is spot on and better than standard bar food. It can get louder on the weekends, but its a great spot for a weekday date or a meetup with friends.

Friendly bartenders, great all day happy hour on Sunday. Cool place to have a drink and a bite to eat. Haven't tried the secret bar in back but I hear it's fun.

Great bar atmosphere with a good food menu. You can order from the Blackjack menu, which is primarily pizzas and sandwiches, or you can order from the Pearl Dive menu (restaurant below), which is mostly seafood.

BJ is a great night out. At night, can be extremely crowded with little moving room. Find a seat or a corner to hangout in and enjoy the drinks and music.

Great space, great staff, great experience! Blackjack's is energetic during happy hours, a bit quieter during dinner, and comfortably crowded during the late night for going out!

Great place to go for the grits and porkbelly. Always busy. But very good service. A 14th street gem and just great for the neighborhood
