The food was delicious. The egg roll was a little different, it has peanut butter in it, gave it a weird taste. But, the shrimp egg foo young. Shrimp fried rice and beef lo mein was delicious!

The Emperor salad was hearty with a generous portion of grilled shrimp and fresh veggies. Excellent, respectful and friendly service

The staff is so friendly and personable here!! The food is absolutely fantastic!!! We absolutely love it here and highly recommend!!!!

Very polite and friendly server. Great hot tea, and meals were delicious! The spicy Mustard was penetrating! Serving sizes were huge. I wish we would have shared one order.

The food was fantastic. Great flavor and presentation. It was seat yourself. The place was packed. I sat at my booth for 5 minutes before someone came over to get my drink order. Five minutes later, a different person came over to get my drink order and give me a menu.

I absolutely love New China. I am a regular there and the wait staff knows my usual order and drink. The food is authentic, delicious Chinese and is always a generous serving, so you'll definitely be needed boxes to go. The service is friendly and always willing to help.

If you stop by Ashland, definitely stop by New China for a great meal!

The food was amazing, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. While I was there they never let my glass run dry and made sure to check on how the food was.

Friendly staff. Food was ready within 15 minutes of placing order. I got beef lo mein and sweet’n’sour chicken. Temperature, texture, and flavor was amazing! Veggies tasted fresh. I’m from Duluth but I come to Ashland often. I always eat here because there’s no Chinese restaurant in Duluth that compares! Excellent experience.

We had the dinner for two, would have easily served four average people. Fried rice was very good as was the beef, chicken, shrimp and vegetables combo. The hot mustard was very tasty and certainly has plenty of punch!! Staff was great, attentive, informative and friendly. The restaurant and bathrooms are very clean!! The background music was country, reflective of the staff and the guests. We will be back!

Food is the best. Absolutely authentic fresh amazing , I moved here from a area with a large Chinese population spoiled with GREAT Chinese food. I have not come across that level until I came here! Our server was wonderful as well.

One of the ladies that worked in kitchen was crabby when I asked for a box but it didn't matter 😂

Wow! I literally crave this place! I love their food. Their service is phenomenal as well as the food. I usually order the same thing every time because I know it’s going to be good. I’ve never had any issues or complaints with the New China Restaurant. I would eat here everyday for lunch if I could!

This is the best restaurant in Ashland. Several times we have had bad service elsewhere and end up here. It never fails, we get served almost immediately, the food is awesome, and one time we showed up 5 minutes till closing, unknowingly, and they were more than happy to serve us.

Our waitress was wonderful!! Very busy lunch time and the service was spot on! They had a birthday for another employee who was eating there and made it very fun for everyone who was there to sing happy birthday to her!! This is our second time there and we will be back!!!

The foods always yummy, the interior is really nice and spacious. The bathrooms appear clean and tidy, and the wait time for food is maybe 15 minutes sometimes. My nephew and I love our lunch dates here, the staff is always very accommodating & are prepared with kids coloring page menus and crayons.

My favorite place in town! My wife and I are vegan and my wife has celiacs- they are SO wonderful and accommodating for us. They know our names and are always the warmest people. On top of that all- the food is beyond delicious. We were spoiled when we lived in Minneapolis, but this place makes us feel like we are not missing out.

Lovely restaurant, very clean and no weird smells like other locations in the past. Food was delicious and nice large portions. Service was great as well. Would highly recommend if in the area!

I've been here twice both times incredible. Got the Mongolian beef the last time and it was so good. Staff was very nice to me and my buddy who has a service dog. Service was great.

As I've said before the staff is fantastic and the service is amazing. I had a bad experience the last time I was there and I was very pleased and shocked that they remembered me today. The manager came to apologize for the actions of my last visit. He took care of my meal today as a apology and thank you. He was a super nice and I was shocked at his kindness today. My meal was excellent. Thank you China Restaurant. Sometimes its the small things. Much appreciated
