This is a beautiful area to visit. The Covered Bridge overlooks a waterfall with reflective waters up top. Just up the street is the Quechee Gorge which is also a beautiful sight. The trails around the gorge are great for a nature walk & site seeing.

This is such a beautiful area. To listen to the falls is just heaven, combined with the gorgeous rock formations, the river water and of course in all four seasons it's quite different.
Having Simon Pierce Glass blowing, store and restaurant adjacent is just heavenly .
It's a perfect way to get outside and to enjoy fantastic food do a little shopping and not have the hassles of going to the box stores supporting someone locally

I was there during the winter. With snow and temperature around 10 degrees. Yes, it was cald and snowing. But I got some nice pictures. There is also a glass blowing factory there. It is worth your time. Also visit Quechee antique mall and visit the alpacas.

I love this area of Quechee! I went to drive by Bridge and river during floods to see what's going on. It was amazing what mother nature can do! Go here when weather is nice and walk over to bridge and swimming hole its a great spot!

Cool stop on our trip to the coast. A little side stop to stretch the legs.

Always love seeing a covered bridge. This one is even better because of the awesome view and the falls. Not sure how anyone could give this less than 5 stars.

Was here for the balloon festival over 30 years ago now that I have family in town coming up again. the 2022 festival will be great. Check out Bridge pictures after the tropical storm came through see the devastation they have some at the visitors station by the Quechee gorge Bridge

Beautiful bridge and scenery with a little pocket park adjoined. There is a small parking area off the road right near the bridge so you can stop to visit or take pics. There is a safe walkway area next to the driving portion of the bridge.
I was curious what is the reasoning for so many covered bridges up in the NE region of the US. We found this interesting tidbit at a maple farm we visited that stated it helped keep the snow and ice off the bridges which would cause them to deteriorate much faster if they were not covered. Seeing as this bridge is now paved it is probably more nostalgic than beneficial although it probably helps keep snow and ice from accumulating on the bridge and making easier for people to pass as well.
We were only passing through on our day adventures so we didn’t stay long but I would certainly return and hang out and enjoy the view and sounds of the water if time allowed.

Nice linear hike with a chance to capture picture from multiple perspectives including stream level to 200 ft bridge level. Added plus is photographing rocks at one end , gorge, then a dam at the head of the hike. Having a visitor's center with parking us also a convenience that hikers are not always afforded. Oh did I say with a restroom for those who need one??!

Stop here for bird photography during sunset. Apt for drone shots. Amazing location to shoot for photography enthusiasts.

Stunning
Especially this time of year when it's icy and cold. If you love artistic views, this is for you! Small parking area near. Walk on path, under bridge and more to take pictures. Visit the over hanging Pierces restaurant, and glass blowing, glass shop. Or just enjoy the fresh air and views.

Beautiful bridge with an amazing view of Simon Pearce, the waterfall, and the scenic Quechee valley! The walking tunnel means you can take your time enjoying the view as well.
In the summer the area below the bridge serves as a swimming spot that’s deep enough to dive in from the surrounding rocks.

This was definitely one of the most beautiful stops on our covered bridge adventure. The scenery was spectacular and we also visited the shops. Didn’t have time to stop and eat here but next time for sure!

Nice bridge with flowers boxes on the side. It spans a rocky gorge and a dam with some mills nearby. The only problem is that it has a concrete deck.

If you're visiting Vermont, you should definitely check out at least one covered bridge. While visiting the Quechee Gorge, take a quick side tour to the Quechee Covered Bridge. There's a dam by the bridge that provides a waterfall view and a pathway on the bridge for pedestrians to explore.
Easy parking and great walking areas that provide easy access to the area.

We were just passing by and it's a beautiful covered bridge in a picturesque surrounding. Seems be old but very well maintained.

The bridge is nice and all, but it's what's underneath that makes it great. There is a rope swing tied to the bottom of the bridge as well as some great rocks to jump off. It may be my favorite summer swimming area.
