A must stop for breakfast if you are in the area. Homey vibe, great food, and friendly service. Haven’t tried the lunch yet but the menu looks great. Breakfast and lunch menus both include vegetarian options. I can’t wait to come back to try the pie and ice cream!

What a cozy, classic diner. Pancakes, omelettes, coffee: all top notch. Absolutely love the atmosphere in places like this, and it was a little highlight of our roadtrip before a long day of driving.

Whenever I am up in Vermont I try to stop by here for breakfast. Their food is consistently delicious and hot. The two things I'd recommend the most are their muffins -- literally the best -- and to try their ice cream. It's very creamy and delicious. Everything else I get here is just a bonus. Their pancakes are also good and so are their omelettes. No matter what you do you can't go wrong. The waitstaff are always kind and attentive, no matter how busy they are. Always a pleasure to visit this place and I recommend it to anyone I know is visiting the area.

Be aware this place is cash only. They do have an ATM. Sometimes they get very busy so you may have to wait to be seated. It is worth it! They also have paintings hanging around the building that are available for purchase -- they're also cash only, so be prepared if that's something you may want to buy.

This place is great. I was under the mistaken impression that they only serve ice cream, and so was pleasantly surprised to see full breakfast and lunch menus available depending upon your timing. We wandered in like jerks at ~15min before closing and were still greeted with smiles and pleasant service and made to feel right at home. Both the turkey sandwiches and tomato soup were made of "real" ingredients - nice big chunks of turkey in the sandwich! - and tasted so much better than the watery cold cuts and reconstituted Campbell's that most roadside restaurants serve at this point in time. Even the pickles were tastier than I would have expected! Yes, things might be a little more expensive than you'd expect, but the quality and the absolutely great service are worth 10x that difference.

We enjoyed our breakfast so much the first day of our vacation that we came back the following day! The omelets were crazy high and delicious. Muffins were also delicious. Service was friendly and quick. We will come back when we are next in the area.

Love the food and the vibe of this place! Every time I visit I am reminded of how much I enjoy this place. I have enjoyed a few birthday breakfasts here. Service has been great even when there is only when server and many tables full.

Had lunch upstairs. Lunch itself was good. The waitress was no nonsense in a very new England type of way. She let me know she was the boss, and I kinda liked it.

Clam chowder so thick you could eat with a fork.

But the DESSERTS! mile high apple pie. With 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream. If that doesn't make you happy then I don't know what will.

Remember - this is a diner. As a diner, it is excellent. We have been fans ever since they were in downtown Woodstock. The desserts and ice cream are excellent, as they have always been. Service is fast and friendly.

Got there ten minutes before the dining room closed. Server nor the cook was happy about that! But we were good to make it easy for them. We ordered the same thing, ate fast, and got out of there quickly. Jason didn't dare order the banana split - the main reason why went there! Guess there's always next time. The burger was really good, by the way.

They don't accept cards but there's an atm on site. Dont let the prices dictate your choice of grub. You'll find out very quicky that you'll definitely get what you pay for. And its amazingly delicious. Highly recommend stopping here. Dine-in area seems a little small but i did take out. Staff were amazing. Truckers, there's a spot to park on the shoulder thats in opposing traffic.

I got a ham and Swiss breakfast sandwich, was huge! And perfect! Glad I had to pull off. Hopefully I get a chance to come back

I always had heard about vermont ice cream and the first bite you can definitely tell a difference. They make all the ice cream homemade. Even the sandwiches are made with homemade bread. I hear the mile high apple pie is a must try.

This place was open for takeout icecream around 5.40pm when I was traveling through this place on a fall weekend evening. Liked their maple walnut icecream. Cash only.

Just what you would want for a roadside place to eat. Nice comfortable dinner type motif inside. Bright and sunny. Staff was very friendly with many locals enjoying meal away from craziness of Woodstock and Killington. My cheese burger and ice cream after were exactly what I wanted. Both were wonderful. Great job. Will look forward to stopping again with no hesitation.
