Frankie's Pizza

EDIT: Placed a phone to go order on 16-2-24, approximate one hour to pick up our order. Ordered the Stingin Honey Garlic and Garlic Parmeson bone in wings. Also ordered a large Taco pizza and a 5Meat pizza. Food smelled so good was temping to eat on the drive back. Needless to say it was another great experience coming here, the food was all very delicious, staff was all very kind and had us on our way.

We have a cabin in bayfield and had passed by hear countless time wanting to try. Soo glad we did! We purchased several pizzas to go, everyone loved the food. Staff was very kind and courteous, this all despite them being extremely busy. We will definitely be returning, highly recommend!

I remember my family would come here every spring when I was little. Total nostalgia when I walked in again after 20 years. Hasn’t changed a thing and please don’t. The taco pizza is still to die for! I wish there was a Frankie’s pizza in my town(traverse city, Mi)!!!!

We sat down with a group 10+ today, on a Friday evening and ordered 5 pizzas. They all came out very close to one another so there was little to no waiting and they were all hot and delicious!! After the rush of getting our food out and for others that were in the dinner, we heard the manager praise the kitchen and his team. What a great atmosphere! Thank you for the great dinning experience for my family!

The food was great, small place but our waitress wasn't very attentive.

Frankie's pizza has been a staple in Ashland for more than 60 years, and having finally made it in for a visit over Easter weekend, I can see why.

The interior has classic 80's pizza shop vibes, complete with wood paneling and several small games! This creates a welcoming, nostalgic atmosphere that embraces you like a warm hug.

The staff work tirelessly to churn out delicious pies day in and day out, putting care and attention into each one. I felt like family, the staff frequently checking in and going out of their way to make it a great experience.

Speaking of family, being a family-owned business, the staff put their heart into the food and the atmosphere, and you can clearly feel it and taste it. It feels less like a business and more like a community kitchen, a gathering place for good people over quality food.

I would highly recommend Frankie's to anyone who is in the Ashland area. Pizza shops don't get much better than this. 💙🍕😋

Pizza is worth traveling for.

I ordered a water 3 different times 1st attempt, waitress forgot. 2nd attempt..she brought back sprite,.3rd was the charm 🤷‍♀

Frankies Pizza in Hayward closed, so we made an hour trip to Ashland...Love their pizza in Hayward. As we were ordering our pizza we we informed that their Italian Sausage was not cooking, so we ordered a pizza with no meat. VERY DISAPPOINTED. WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK

The crust, the sauce, the toppings, the cooking method, everything contributed to one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. I got the 10" "Special." My buddy got a 10" as well and 2 more pizzas to go for his family back home, 5 hours away, because they love it too. Staff was very friendly as well.

Pizza and pasta are great, have had a few order mix ups but the staff have always been great and made things right. Garlic cheesy bread is also a must!

Quaint small place. Had the Taco pizza and Cheese curds. The Taco pizza was very good! The Cheese curds were fabulous. Definitely worth checking out.

When we arrived the place was about half full on a Thursday night. Arrived approximately 5:45 p.m. We were in town just for the night (passing through). Decided to try Frankies as reviews were consistently good. Great choice. We were waited on quickly. Pizza came timely (about 25 minutes--didn't time it). Excellent amount of topping and perfectly crispy crust. We paid cash but I noticed others use a credit card so confused by previous review that said cash only. Will gladly come again if ever in town.

Absolutely delicious, glad we finally took Raelyn's advice and stopped in. Much smaller than I was expecting, but we still were seated right away. Pizza came out fairly quickly, and was sooo good. Worth stopping at to try a delicious pie, and we will definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

We had the 5 meat pizza. OMG!!! SO GOOD!! Nice thin crust crust, amazing flavor!! Fast friendly service too!

Came up from Chippewa county to get out of the heat. Also was here four weeks ago. The GF veggie pizza was great. Had it before and made sure to get it again. A different waitress this time. She let you sit a long time before waiting on you. Could see her standing around in the kitchen. She served you then never came back. She never looked out into the dining room so I could get her attention. Only when she waited on a young man who had been sitting for a long time was I able to get her attention so I could pay. The waitress we had four weeks ago was great and handled a crowd by herself. I realize the waitress last night was young and maybe not skilled yet. She needs to work on attentiveness.

Great choice in Ashland, especially late night when other places are closed, with take-out options. Easy on/off, Hwy. 2/Lakeshore Dr location, close to downtown. Easy parking. Family friendly for over 50 years. Relaxed atmosphere. Extensive menu, delicious pizza and more, at reasonable prices.

The service was spectacular, the atmosphere was amazing and our waiter was absolutely fantastic, she was so kind and fun with my little brother while maintaining a professional distance. The food was awesome. Congratulations to the Frankie's Pizza staff, you guys are amazing.

When we got there it wasn’t too busy. As the night went on it got busier. We felt bad for the waitress as she was the only one. Every time she came around seeing if we needed anything she was apologizing. Then went into the kitchen in a hurry to check on orders or to get drinks. The pizza was hot and had good flavor.
