Fabulous! Did a 3 mile walk up & around the pond & back appreciating the beautiful grounds. We also toured the mansion. We were cautioned not to ask too many questions as the tour couldn't cover everything, but still, it started out on the porch with a 20 minute lecture on conservation. We would have preferred 5 minutes of that & 55 minutes with more info on the 3 families who lived there & the home's progressive improvements

Saturday, September 2nd. Hiked about 6 miles with my husband from the farm, up and around the pond, then to the top of Mount Tom to the lookout and back. That was a good Hike!

A cool morning but we had a beautiful walk/hike in these beautiful Vermont woods. Trees just beginning to turn colors, a pond to walk around,a gentle breeze and a time to reflect on one of God's beautiful creation. The view point was calming.

The Legacy of Stewardship was great and educational! We did the Junior Ranger activity with our daughter as well, which took us on a nice short nature hike.

I really enjoyed the junior ranger trail walk. I should really look at the maps before walking I wound up off the property. Theres a nice carrage house where they have several horse drawn carrages. The rangers were very nice. You neef to sign up for the house tour. It really came a downpour when I had just finished my walk.

This is the only home within the park.

Has a ranger within to explain.
Has a trail to walk throughout the park.

A historic family owned place until donated to the county to become a tourist action. A very good place to think and enjoy the beauty of the past. A well preserved home. You could really tell how many could go far.

Gorgeous hike in the snow on Christmas Day. Nothing was open except for the trails but the views were spectacular. There are many ski only trails so just have to look out for the signs.

Went for a hike up the mountain road up to the summer pasture. Plenty of traffic on a weekday afternoon but it was still very peaceful and everyone we encountered was friendly and respectful. Highly recommend that you download and print a map of the trails in advance of your visit as the trails are marked but without distances. Will definitely be going back.

Ok so the hiking trails are actually really nice. There are supposedly 20 miles of trails. I did the junior ranger trail (short hike). I was able to go into the visitors center with a mask, but not the mansion. You *can* sit on the porch and soak in the nice views. Be aware that the farm across the street is technically not part of the park and there is an entrance fee.

First time visiting the farm here and we went in around mid October.. the weather and the farm was absolutely beautiful! Bought bunch of things at the visitor center store and the old lady at the counter was really sweet! Other staff were also welcoming.. Would love to visit again.

It has several trails with well-maintained roads, and clear signs to tell you where to go. It you like walking trails, you should like there. It has some cute ponds, plenty of lovely wild flowers, and a lot of shades.

An amazing place to visit! Farm museum is great and the property is scenic and beautiful. A look into the previous centuries methods of New England farming. A fantastic family experience.

This is a beautiful, well-tended property, including gardens. But the real highlight of our visit was the tour of the house. Our tour guides Ashley and Kay were outstanding; they shared historical information with our group but also engaged us in a thought-provoking conversation about the meaning of stewardship, legacy, and conservation. These young women gave me hope for the future.

Very beautiful mansion! I wish we could have seen more of the house! The wood work is amazing! The detail is crazy! Very cool to see how the 1% lived!

We weren't able to tour because all tours were full. Best to get tickets in advance. We were able to walk the grounds. Make sure you watch the video at the Visitors Center.

Beautiful park with dirt roads/trails. You seriously won't regret the beautiful views this place has to offer! Don't forget to wear bug spray and check for ticks!

I confused the Billings Farm for the Marsh-Billings NHP. They are separate but share the same parking lot. It's .mostly walking trails and it was too much of an incline to start so I didn't walk the Park. Very nice history though!

Great trails and nature. Dog friendly. Parking is by the museum and you can just cross the street to enter the park.
