I’ve been taking my car to Woody for about 4 years now. He always takes care of my oil change, answers questions I have about my car’s performance , explains what needs to be done, and is transparent with prices. He also recommended me to a transmission repair shop when I needed it. I trust that he’ll take care of my car and wouldn’t take advantage of me with unnecessary repairs or costs.

I have been going to this garage for the last 20 years. Woody is great. All the mechanics they have had over the years are awesome. They are honest and knowledgeable. I would not trust my cars to anybody else.

Came here after first going to another Cap Hill Auto place that had great reviews (I don't understand how...). Metro Motors's customer service was stellar, prices more than fair, and super quick turnaround. I'm so glad MM was recommended to us and we didn't end up using the other place! Mr. Woody is an excellent mechanic! He was able to figure out my car problem and fix it very quickly. Everyone at the shop is very friendly. I will be coming here for my regular car maintenance and any other car problems. If you need a good local mechanic you’ve found the one!

As always service was prompt and thorough. This time was an oil change and a radiator flush which was first time recommended and car has 170k. I trust Woody to only recommend required services and his prices are competitive with local shops (and certainly cheaper than dealership!)

I have used this location for several years. Woody and the staff are reliable. They don’t try to upsell. After they did a recent oil change, I still had a low tire light. Woody assured me they had filled the tires, but he still came right out, checked my tires and found a faulty pressure monitor. He said they would be happy to replace it, but he told me the cost and that it’s fine if I just check the pressure regularly. We’ve always been happy there.

Metro Motor Capitol Hill Exxon provides quality and quick service. I come here any time I need an oil change. If there are any unexpected issues with my car, I receive a phone call to explain the issue and why it needs to be addressed.

The only challenge is parking. If you do not have a Zone 6 DC parking pass, you will need to pick up your car quickly after getting service done.

Great experience! The manager, Woody, is excellent. I originally came to them with a brake light that wouldn’t turn off, and they fixed it as soon as I pulled up. I came back a month later for an oil change and a brake and coolant flush. They were able to take me the morning I called, and the car was ready by early afternoon. The prices are fair, everyone in the shop is friendly, and the location on Capitol Hill is very convenient. I won’t take my car anywhere else in DC.
