Taco X

Visited twice. Each time the food was excellent. Had the baja fish tacos last time and they were amazing. The fish was crispy and the slaw was fresh. The pineapple salsa hot sauce was a great addition. Burritos are super stuffed and fresh. The Strawberry margarita was delicious. Pre -COVID, you could get your own toppings at the topping bar. Now they add them for you so have that in mind when ordering.

As a Floridian taco enthusiast, I had the best fish tacos I've ever had here. And the house made hot sauce?!?! I wish I could just take this restaurant back to FL with me. They were short staffed when our group of 6 were here, but I can assure that the food is well worth the wait. We had some great conversations with the owner and you can really tell he is a great guy and cares about his business. Next time I end up in killington this restaurant will be at least half the reason why. :)

The service was some of the best, very attentive and fast... The portions were generous and the drinks were lovely. Mondays are $5 margaritas and you get a free refill!

YUM! If you're craving good food and drinks on a cold winter day, then definitely stop at Taco X. Our server was so nice and the food was really good. I had the chicken enchiladas and my husband had a beef burrito. I couldn't finish my food, but it was great as leftovers, too.

Planning my trip, I intended on stopping at taco X, and man I was not let down. Super friendly staff, down to earth people. Food was some of the best quality, freshest ingredients and a chef who isn’t afraid to cook with love. Local beer too, which was not a disappointment. If it wasn’t for 300 miles in the way, I’d be back every month

Do not think twice, come here! They have excellent tacos and guacamole.. and the owner was super friendly. Their hot sauces are home made and each so unique and flavorful. His partner made a maple chili hot sauce and let me try it….wow! This is an awesome establishment for the mountain and look forward to coming back

We had a lovely meal. The baja taco was really delicious. The home made salsas were unusual and tasty. We wanted easy, tasty, friendly and we got exactly what we wanted.

First time visiting tonight, and we will definitely be back again! Within a few minutes of sitting down, we were given margaritas, chips, salsa, and were able to place our order - a much better experience than other Mexican restaurants nearby.

You can tell the owners spent a lot of time working on the recipes for each taco. Every one we had was delicious. The best part is the salsa bar where you can add any topping you'd like along with a vast choice of salsas.

Excellent Tacos. I had the Elk and chicken tacos. Both were awesome! They have a fresh toppings bar also. Drinks and desserts were fantastic. Fun and friendly atmosphere. Outstanding staff! My kids love the tacos here. We will be back!

Was detoured at first by some of the negative reviews but decided to chance it . Very glad we did it was amazing. Great salsa and tacos were excellent with a great condiment bar to build your own taco. Highly recommend the pork belly tacos. Very pleased two thumbs up.

Finally some tacos I can look forward too!

Don't get me wrong, other restaurants in town try their best but Taco X offers some unique street tacos with an incredible selection of sweet & spicy sauces.

Don't be surprised when the tacos show up with just the meat, there's a full, Build Your Own Taco station, with all of the fixings you'll need!

The selection is constantly changing and evolving, I just hope they keep the fresh chips coming!

Great margaritas! Tasty beers! Comfy booths!

Only thing on my wishlist would be a Homemade Guacamole bowl for the table (please!)

Pricing is fair: $4-$6 per taco... I have found 2 tacos to be sufficient for myself!

If you want a quick bite to eat and good quality food this a good place to stop. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Good selection of local beers. Casual atmosphere. Their taco fixings bar let's you customize your taco with homemade salsa's, etc. For desert we had the tres leches cake and it was worth it.

Accommodated a large group of 30+. (From the south) so they even went above and beyond and made us sweet tea! Very nice. Very reasonable prices. Love the selection of food as well. Highly recommend!!

Great food. Great drinks. We had a qusedella with carne asada and the shrimp enchiladas. Both excellent and huge. The salsa is excellent. Smoky flavor. Perfect heat too (makes your head sweat slightly but your mouth isn't on fire). Oh, and get the churros. Best I've ever had.

Had a wonderful dinner at Taco X tonight. Party of eight rambunctious people… wait staff, chef and owner all came by and were so gracious. Food was authentic and delicious. Fun Killington experience! Thank you! 😃

If I could give more stars I would .... after a morning skiing went for lunch on 3/11 (and while family was skiing on 3/12 --- I went back). Hands down best taco I've ever hand -- the chorizo was flavorful and just plain amazing. The variety of toppings available at the toppings / salsa / hot sauce bar only adds to the overall flavor / experience. To top it off - the margarita was perfection. Kudos to Dan for this establishment. I've from NJ and already dreaming of my next possible trip. ..... if you like mexican do not miss Taco X!!!

We loved everything we ordered - empanadas, enchiladas, ground beef tacos, siracha cauliflower tacos. Generous portions! They were super friendly and attentive. We loved the salsa music and the fun, relaxed atmosphere.

The shrimp burrito was literally the best burrito I've ever had in my life. 10/10, and the owner is super nice too. HIGHLY recommended.

First time visiting Taco X. Love the old time diner vibe of the place. We had chicken fajitas and fish tacos. Both were excellent! Will definitely visit Taco X again!!

This is the only place to eat in Killington. Homemade hot sauces are dope! Dan, Janeli and Freddy are great and could not be nicer…ski straight to TacoX!!!
