The Sparkle Barn

So much fun!

The store was full of cute and clever items! I'll have to come back again in a month or so for Christmas presents and winter birthdays.

The outside was incredible, though! A Unicorn garden with glass flowers and a Guardian Dragon. A story path about 7 dragons finding their inner sparkle! Worth the time to follow the path and read along.

We were simply enchanted by the place!

Thanks again to the shopkeeper for the Birthday crystals tucked into the bag of gifts we purchased. You made my day extra special!

What a fantastic place with lots of interesting and unique items. Absolutely loved the care and attention to the entire store. The very creative upstairs is a must see. A magical place indeed that is well worth the stop!

Magical and spellbound are just a few words I would use to describe this place. I came in here for some maple syrup for my sister, but was distracted by all the other gizmos and gadgets. Super friendly staff as well. I will definitely tell my mom and sister to check out this place

you can call it a gift shop or an enchanted cottage, in any case it is completely delightful and well worth a detour. friendly staff, lovely gifts and lots of photo ops.

It's a beautiful shop. A must see if you're visiting the area. There's stuff for the garden, art, jewelry, candles, fun gifts, cocktail mixers, kids stuff and so much more. There's so much to discover. I thought the prices were appropriate. The upstairs is a beautiful sensory overload!

Okay, I attached pictures that hopefully make it hard to identify my friends; I don't have any pics of the outside that doesn't have people in them. There are a LOT of different places to take great pictures! I am sad to say that I didn't think of taking pictures for this review (I don't think to do reviews until the app prompts me). There are steel drums and 'Butterfly' drum instruments outside that are FREE to play with, so I did. There is a maypole down the hill by the right of the parking lot, haven't seen one of those since I was a grade school student. There was a gong on the hill before going down to the maypole, but the stand isn't placed in a way to allow the full sound of the gong to be heard, I found that holding the rope of the gong so it wasn't hitting the ground of base of the stand, the gong sounded BEAUTIFUL! It saddens me that the gong isn't set up better so that EVERYONE can hear the full sound. It took us a while BEFORE we went in the shop. Inside shop has a steel drum for sale, there are rooms chock full of stuff - I need to go back because I know I didn't see everything and we were there FOR HOURS! We went upstairs where it was like being shrunk, the butterfly hangings were huge, as were the fake flowers that adorned the whole place. The kid we were with likened it to being a Smurf and a a Fairy, I can see what they mean. It was REALLY cool to sit on the seats and swivel around, they looked like stationary seats until You sit. We had a LOT of fun upstairs and got some free magnets too. It was like going to a relatives place and seeing all the stuff they have, except they will let You buy the stuff of them. I REALLY enjoyed myself, as did my friends, we hope to go back again, bring other people and maybe add this to the place we bring our out of state friends (the friend in the picture was the one that wanted to see the place) I got there early, not on purpose, thankfully I was able to buy all the stuff I found and wanted but I do want to bring more friends here. There are items there that I didn't know existed! Go see if for Yourself but plan to buy gifts for people while You're there, the stuff here is GREAT for gifts, I spent a lot and it's not all for me!

It's a fun place to explore featuring a lot of local made items and some artisanal items from far off places. A few different rooms with different themes and items. The upstairs bloom room is also fun. It's a great place for odd gifts, Vermont specialities, hippie kind of items, decorations, and other collectibles.

An amazing way to spend a few minutes of your weekend, don't drive by, turn around or go back, you won't regret it. Find everything you didn't know you were missing in your life. Be sure to check out the bloom room

Wow! This place is a hippie’s dream! All things sparkly, whimsical and magical can be found here! Shop is conveniently located right on Rt 7 just south of Wallingford. It’s a worthwhile stop on your vacation any time of year. Prices are reasonable. Decor is fabulous and fun!

My wife and I visited The Sparkle Barn today and were not disappointed.
It has all kinds of interesting things for almost everyone. Highly recommend stopping by.

Owner is amazing. Place is beautiful especially with the new stained glass vestibule. Also if your lucky you'll get to meet their cat!

This is the most whimsical, wonderfully curated store filled with handmade crafts and one-of-a-kind gifts. Truly something for everyone. They have an online store, too. But it’s worth going out of your way to pay a visit IRL. Magical!

It's wonderful and has unusual gift ideas I've had not seen anywhere else
And great photo opportunities in the upstairs

Beautiful shop with so many treasures! So happy with all the little things we found: jewelry, bath salts, cat toys my cats loved, etc! Will definitely be back! Loved meeting Ben the kitty there as well 😺

Still magical and fun to visit

I found the Sparkle Barn on Facebook. It looked so lovely I knew I would have to stop in on my next visit to Vermont. And I am really glad I did. So many lovely handcrafted items. I ended up buying Birthday gifts for 5 ladies and a little something for myself. They have a huge selection of beautiful hand-blown items, mobiles, suncatchers, pottery pieces..and so much more. And to top it off they wrap the pieces in beautiful tissue that matches the bag. I highly recommend the Sparkle Barn

Def a place you wanna stop by, tons of cool knick knacks and unique gifts, tons of things to look at. And they even gift wrap for free and it's so cute!
