Atlantic View Hotel

I don’t even know where to begin on this hotel. It was AMAZING! The room was nice and clean, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the location was amazing. My husband and I took a short getaway for our anniversary and the manager of the hotel made sure to give us an anniversary card!! Made us feel welcomed and basically like we were at home.

Not only did they have a great continental breakfast, they had a happy hour with wine and cheese, and they also had fresh chocolate chip cookies at night!!

Long story short, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!!

My husband and I have been coming here for years.
I’ve lost track of how many.
It’s always been perfect in all ways but every year it gets better and better.
The room is so sanitary. The breakfast is incredible including anything we would want.
Wine and cheese in the early evening and cookies later.
We walk to Rehoboth along the beach and drive a short distance to the outlets to shop.
We’re always in heaven when we come here to celebrate our birthdays.

First off, thank you Alicia for your outstanding customer experience! You went above an beyond to make my husband birthday celebration memorable! This hotel, let’s just say the pictures do it no justice! The view is stunning and the hotel is very clean. Our room is oceanfront and we will definitely be connecting back next year!

A hotel you want to come back to.
The location is very convenient and you can walk to the beach.
Beach chairs are provided free of charge.
We offer cheese and wine in the evening, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening, and a better breakfast than most hotels.
The room is also clean.
All the staff were very pleasant.

Traveling with my 8 years old son can be a little bit challenging as because of autism he doesn't like sleeping anywhere but his bed. He does not like hotels.
Can't go wrong here. It's got the warmness of a home. It's beautifully decorated, ocean front, peaceful, clean. And he loved the warm cookies. Great touch.

Dear Dea, Jason, and Mary Lou, I don't want to write a good review for fear of never being able to get a room again at your wonderful property. What. A. Gem. We stayed two nights and did not want to leave. First, location, location, location; you are RIGHT on the beach. Then there are the nice touches like the beach chairs, sitting area to wait for your Uber, wine and cheese in the evening, and an actual complimentary breakfast. The rooms are up to date, clean, and comfortable; the shower was also very nice, good hot water and pressure. We've already booked another weekend.

Love the blue decor of the oceanfront rooms. The beach towels in a straw tote, the warm cookies in the lobby on Friday evenings, the comfy deck chairs and the privacy walls between the decks on the oceanfront rooms, plus a walkable location. It was blissfully quiet in April, before the high season. Great for a solo trip too. From my oceanfront deck, the night sky was bursting with stars since they are no high beam lights on the grounds. Can't wait to return, loved it.

I found this place online and had a good feeling about it. I was not disappointed. Pluses: Impeccably clean, Ocean front balcony, quiet, drinks in the lobby, great breakfast (way better than the standard waffle station type), close parking, walking distance to restaurants, friendly staff. Minuses: Can't think of any. Highly recommended!

The location was excellent … steps from the beach with ocean views.

Besides going up 4 flights of stairs for us it was the most perfect place. They have wine and cheese every night for guests. Right on the beach for beautiful sunrises and sunsets or just go to the pool for the same sights. Staff is amazing as well.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My husband and I discovered it many years ago and we have brought multiple people back to visit multiple times. The staff is always excellent, the breakfast was delicious, and you're practically centrally located foe excellent beach time, a quick walk up the beach to Rehoboth and the boardwalk, or even down into Dewey proper... it is marvelous!!! Mary is amazing! She set the mood for the day with her bubbly personality and professionalism. And the afternoon staff were just as perfect.

First time to the Delaware beaches and we absolutely loved our stay at the Atlantic View!! Perfect for kids with pool and right on the beach with direct access. Loved that they had complimentary beach chairs, breakfast, and cookies each night. Staff was amazing and very friendly/helpful. Rooms are clean - the bathrooms are small but other than that it was the perfect spot!

I just got back from my yearly sister trip. I'm so sad that I came home to no 5pm wine and cheese and no 8pm cookie at my house. This hotel is the best. Super friendly and quaint. It's not the beach I missed when coming home but the hotel

My family and I visited back in May 2022. I've been meaning to write a review because we had SUCH a great experience at this hotel. Not only was the view amazing, but the staff went above and beyond expectations, especially Tom L. (the assistant manager)! Traveling with 6 family members and a 9 month old baby can be a little stressful. But Tom greeted us with the best smile and let us check in a little early, since one of the rooms was done being cleaned. That was extremely helpful for my niece's and brother-in-law's afternoon nap ;) The early evening cookies and wine was a nice touch. We will be returning (all the way from Montana)! Highly recommend.

A small gem by the sea.
We had a west facing room with balcony, and for the price it was a really good deal. The rate also includes free breakfast that you can enjoy by the pool outside.
The room: clean, fairly modern with big TV and lots of storage. Bathroom is a bit small and could really use some hooks for towels. Beds are comfy.
Reception: Cute, clean with a sea vibe offering Happy Hour treats with wine. You get soft gooey chocolate chip cookies in the evening for a nice desert or midnight snack.
Overall, the hotel is steps away from the beach. All you need to do is grab a beach chair (courtesy of the hotel) and make your way to the sea. In the evening, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean on the 4th floor deck.

One of my favorite hotels i’ve stayed at! The rooms are so cute and extremely clean. I felt very welcome by the front desk staff. Free coffee all day, wine and cheese, and chocolate chip cookies are so nice. Plus, the beach is literally right there! This is awesome.

Jason, the hotel manager, is the best! He warmly welcomes you with a family-like kindness. His excellent customer service is a breath of fresh air. The hotel is a beautiful quaint hotel recently updated over a year ago. Our second floor beach side room was super clean, fresh and appealing. Double queen-bed room have plenty of amenities for 2 guests. New smart TV, K-cup machine & microwave. Room experience is pleasing with new paint, vinyl windows, sink and fixtures, bathroom is tight but shower is adequate. Room noise levels are low with the exceptions from the expected A/C heater fan, bathroom exhaust fan and some floor creaking from other guest rooms above though not a nuisance. Gracious layers of hospitality include evening snacks, 24/7 k-coffee bar, & warm grab-n-go breakfast.

Nice hotel with a perfect location on the beach. Very friendly staff and functional rooms and good breakfast.

We recently moved to Maryland and wanted a quick get away for our anniversary. We really enjoyed staying here. Staff was really friendly. You get complimentary wine and cheese in the evening, and a choice of hot or cold breakfast. Room is fine, but the location is great, right on the beach or easy walk to eat. We will definitely try to stay again on any return trips.

Amazing hotel! Friendly staff! Clean rooms, great breakfast! We go every year and it is super amazing! Right in the beach and so close to everything!
