The Newfane Store

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and every visit they keep getting better and better. The shop has a lot of cool, unique, and fun products; and the deli is super good with many tasty vegan/vegetarian options. I think the Bahn Mi Tempeh is my new favorite although the Tempeh Rueben gives it a run for its money. If you’re looking for a good vegan lunch or vegetarian breakfast this is a great spot.

It’s a store that makes the customer feel like family. The food is delicious. The variety of odds and ends is very interesting. You can sit and eat the homemade food you order. Yum!!
Even if you don’t need anything I would suggest stopping into the Newfane store. Just to see what I’m talking about.

Nice place to stop for something to eat or a coffee. Easy parking and good hot foods. Taco night is always good.

Calling this place a "store" does not do it justice. The deli/cafe has a great selection of delicious hot and cold food, but what really stood out for us was the friendly service. Highly recommend!

The beef brisket breakfast sandwich is delicious. Brisket has so much flavor! I appreciate the beef option since I do not eat pork. Also the Sammy breakfast sandwich has the sweetest most delicious bread. They even have iced coffee. Pleasantly surprised for a “store”. We are staying at the Four Columns and got a Breakfast voucher for this location. We will definitely be returning to purchase breakfast.

Best breakfast sandwich in VT! Get it with the hash brown patty.

If you have a sweet tooth they have a fantastic display case with daily bakes.

The Newfane Store is a must-stop!

I will say now that we have new owners and their service is amazing, I went in recently during a drive through Newfane. Doug the old owner was an a**. These new owners have a really good thing going, I would highly recommend.

So far so good. Have been in twice and the sandwiches are great. This is actually a must stop when I visit Vermont. The baked goods are unbelievable and Peanut Butter Bars to die for. I have searched near and far to find the elusive peanut butter bar and this place has them. Not only do they have them they are awesome. The oreo cheesecake is u real too. Delicious cant wait to return.

Best sandwich I’ve had since Alldays and Onions! The wrap was fresh and soft, avocado perfectly ripe and the pickled vegetable in the center was perfect. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed the exchange of humor as I waited for my sandwich to be made. I literally told everyone I know about the best sandwich I’ve had in years and I can’t wait to come back for another.

Great little store for necessities and gifts. Many craft beer options. Wonderful deli with delicious breakfast sandwiches, fries, reubens. And of course, hardworking, kind and dedicated staff.

I love this store so much. Get all the basics you forgot on your trip, plus super interesting sauces/ingredients to cook something awesome, great sandwiches and lunch options, plus super friendly and pleasant staff. Oh and also lots of adorable little gifty type things. Thank you for being awesome!!!

Great place! There’s a large choice of food for lunch, in or out. Prices are okay

We love this place! Even though we have moved away we visit every time we return to town. Great food, always fresh, and lots of choices for vegetarians and children which can sometimes be hard to find in small towns.

Great sandwiches, even had gluten free bread, staff very friendly! Perfect stop for a drive up RT 30.

I read the consistently great reviews for The Newfane Store so I decided to stop in on my way to Stratton Mountain. The breakfast sandwich was better than anything I can make at home and far better than the typical fast food drive-through offerings. Store was stocked with food, beer, wine, local crafts and more. Friendly and efficient staff, plenty of parking. I normally don't visit the same place twice, but decided to stop again on my way back from Stratton. I ordered the Banh mi sandwich, surprised it was on the menu, and it was the best I have ever had. The pork belly, pickled veggies, bread - all delicious. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more of their delicious food.
I highly recommend The Newfane Store when driving or walking on Route 30 in Vermont. Stop, buy, and eat local.

This store is a frequent lunch stop for me and my family. The food is great - there is a varied selection, and everything we've ever had has been delicious. The employees are helpful and personable. Highly recommend if you're passing through Newfane!

Nice little place in a pretty empty town. The food was good, service friendly, and the store had a bunch of neat handcrafted items alongside the kitchen necessities.
