I have stayed here a couple times already, it’s always a great stay!!!

The location is beautiful; there is a cute down town area. As well as, the location being a great midpoint for other activities in the area like skiing, hiking, etc. The bar is gorgeous and both Joel and Mitch make great cocktails. The rooms are clean and cozy (one of the few places I don’t bring my own bed linen) the bathrooms are spacious and include local bath products.

One of the best parts of the stay has to be the breakfast offerings each morning, which are included in the stay, there are always two options (that my boyfriend and myself both split) and they are made fresh daily; always a unique and yummy surprise.

A great place to get away relax and recharge will defiantly come back here again and again.

VT B&B charm without sacrificing modern conveniences.

We just had a fantastic ski weekend with six other families at the Inn. The owners recently made smart updates to the rooms and bathrooms and keep the property impeccably clean. The ski/boot room was perfect to manage all of our gear.

The food. Wow. Fresh, nourishing, and tasty. If you want a relaxing weekend away in VT, this is your spot.

Loved our stay at this cute B&B. Hosts Joelle and Mitch worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. Mitch is also a talented chef who made delicious breakfast for us every morning before we departed for the ski slopes. The common area is a great place to relax, sit by the fireplace and have a drink at the bar at the end of each day. Location is minutes away from Okemo. We have already rebooked our stay for next year.

We have never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before and our first experience doing so at the Inn at Water's Edge did not disappoint! Joel and Mitch were so friendly and welcoming from the very beginning. Our room was cozy and clean - and the entire inn was perfect setting for our Fall getaway to Vermont. It was charming and had everything you would look for in a stay away from home. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Ludlow as a whole was a great place to "slow down" and embrace the seasons changing. We will definitely be back!

We just returned home from a relaxing, long weekend at the Inn, and it was such a great experience that we are already planning our next stay. Joel and Connie were such great hosts, they both took the time to get to know us, and share stories, and made sure that we were comfortable and enjoying every part of our stay. We loved chatting with both of them. The drinks, breakfast, and coffee were SO good! Also the cookies! Our room was perfect and extremely cozy. We loved hanging out in the bar area and chatting, and Joel even started a fire for us. The breakfasts were so good that my husband and I ordered the sweet and savory option to share each morning. We love visiting inns and this is the best experience that we have had in 14 years of traveling around together. We cannot wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Inn; it was beautiful, clean, well appointed, and both Joelle and Mitch were amazing.
We will not only spread the word about what a wonderful place it is, but will also plan to revisit.

This was by far one of the loveliest inns we have stayed in. The breakfast was 5 star. Connie and Mitch were wonderful host. We attended a wedding nearby and could not have picked a better place to wind down each evening. The common area was tastefully decorated and comfortable to spend time with friends. Loved all the updates. The newly constructed swings by the waters edge did not disappoint. We cannot wait to come come back.

More than just a home base for skiing- the Inn was absolutely gorgeous, clean, and comfortable. Mitch and Joelle made us a great breakfast in the morning and made sure we were caffeinated enough to function. We felt so at home yet had plenty of space to ourselves. You can't beat the fireplace right by the bar either! Thanks for having us.

My husband and I stayed at The Inn at Water’s Edge recently, and it was everything we wanted and more.

The decor embraces the history of the house while still being elegant and refined. The grounds are beautiful, and you truly cannot beat the view of the lake. A great spot to have your coffee.

What surprised us more than how delightful and charming the inn was, is how much we adored sharing the space with Mitch and Joel. They truly bring to life the whole experience. Mitch is a true chef; everything we ate was simply delicious. (And, I don’t say this lightly as we are from Chicago and are used to great food.) Joel made great recommendations for us throughout the stay and made us feel right at home.

We would highly recommend this place and cannot wait to come back.

My fiancĂ© and I stayed at the Inn at Water’s Edge for 2 nights in early October and it was a truly incredible experience. We felt like we were tucked away and a cozy paradise. Our favorite moment of our entire trip around the east coast was sitting in the gorgeous pub drinking some amazing cocktails made by Mitch. The breakfasts were incredible, the hosts were welcoming, and we will certainly be back.

Quaint, peaceful yet full of interesting things to choose to spend your time doing. It’s so easy to be reading a great book by the lake, going for a walk, playing a game of cards, or playing with the toys that involve the water or the land. My husband & I were here in the fall & it turned into a much needed lazy weekend. The very best time. Cozy, peaceful Inn at Waters Edge, the place to chill.

The Inn was a wonderful experience! Mitch and Joel were great hosts and the food was fantastic! The room was newly updated and very tastefully decorated. As for the Ludlow area, Lake Echo is picturesque and the surrounding area is gorgeous. My son and I went fishing daily and it really brought me back to my days fishing with my Dad. We loved it and I plan on making this a regular destination in the future. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommended staying at The Inn At Water’s Edge! The decor is beautiful, classic but with modern finishes, and the rooms were perfect for our family. The hosts were so welcoming and made you feel right at home. Breakfast was five stars and the hosts can also make a mean cocktail. Already planning our next trip back!

The Inn at Water's Edge is a magical place! I organized a friends weekend as a pre-wedding celebration for my sister and her fiancé with 21 guests. We were able to rent out all of the rooms for our stay, and it was unforgettable! Mitch and Joel are fantastic innkeepers. Joel made it so easy to communicate about details prior to the weekend. Mitch is an extremely talented chef - he uses fresh and creative ingredients, and we were raving about his food all weekend. The bedrooms, bathrooms and common spaces at the Inn are all so clean and beautiful, with lots of stylish and unique touches. The Inn has all of the coziness of a quintessential VT Inn paired with contemporary style. Our group loved gathering in the bar area in the evenings, with plenty of space to mingle and play board games. The outdoor space is also lovely! There is a short path to Echo Lake behind the Inn, and our party enjoyed the lake access to the fullest. We swam, used kayaks/canoes, and relaxed on the dock and in the comfy Adirondack chairs. Mitch and Joel are such gracious hosts, and we were grateful for their warm personalities and attentive service! I would recommend this Inn to anyone who is looking for an exceptional stay in VT.

The Inn at Waters Edge is a cozy bed and breakfast off of Echo Lake. Even before you arrive you will receive top notch service, my wife and I were driving in and Joel was already accommodating us if we had to check in later in the day. Once we arrived Joel gave us a personal tour of the Inn and the grounds of the inn. The Inn is beautiful inside and out with tasteful modern renovations inside and a picturesque view on the outside. Unfortunately the weather did not permit for us to enjoy the outside ammendidites, but the breakfast portion of our stay more than made up for it. The chef Mitch thought up of a new menu for each morning giving a savory or sweet option. Every morning was creative, different, and more importantly delicious. The inn's bar was inviting and was always a fun way to end our day. The experience at The Inn at Waters Edge was bar none the best hospitality experience I have ever had experienced. If you are staying in the area, sign up for a room, Joel and Mitch will give you the best service you could ask for.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Inn at Water’s Edge, and we had an amazing time. The entire inn was just renovated, and the updates and details are gorgeous! Mitch and Joel are wonderful hosts, and Mitch’s daily breakfasts are delicious. They both go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We stayed in room 11 with a super comfortable king bed and beautiful updated bathroom. We enjoyed our stay so much that we ended up adding an extra night. We’ll be returning in the future!

Joelle & Mitch made our stay so lovely! The inn is beautiful and newly redone and filled with personal touches. Our hosts were quick to light a fire for us in the main room where we enjoyed reading with coffee. They also presented beautifully fresh breakfast each morning - so delicious! Our room was perfectly neat and beautiful and cozy with our own gas stove. I loved the soaps and shampoos they created themselves -amazing natural scents. It was a lovely stay and first visit to Vermont including exploring Woodstock and having some delicious meals recommended by our hosts. Would love to return in the summer!

In the current hospitality environment where overpriced and underwhelming choices to stay abound, the Inn at Water's Edge is a prime example of what service and comfort can be. It all starts and stops with Joel and Mitch who are not only fantastic Inn Keepers but are also genuinely great human beings and a pleasure to chat with while sitting around the fire or at the bar. If every inn and hotel were staffed by people like them it would be the end of Airbnb. Loved our stay and can't wait for a reason to go back!

We absolutely loved staying here. Every room in the Inn is thoughtfully decorated and the bar/hang out areas are great for relaxing by the fire, reading a book, or playing a game of scrabble. Mitch and Joel are fantastic inn keepers and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. There is always coffee and tea available and Mitch has an incredible passion for food. He will make you an amazing breakfast and afternoon cookies. We can't wait to go back again.
