Ashley’s at the front desk made the office warm and inviting, they were very professional. Dr. Brooks was polite and respectful, I wish we could be best friends in real life. I had just left work and the gym and none of the staff complained about my body odor. Love this place so much.

This was my first visit to Burke Dermatology. The front office staff was very kind and efficient, which is rare in a doctor's office these days. I saw Drew Venables, the PA and he was great. Very personable, professional and took the time to address all of my concerns. He removed two moles from my face and I was very satisfied with the procedure.

Burke Dermatology has an amazing team who very much so cares about their patients!! Ashley and Dr. Burke went out of their way to assist my Mom, a snowbird who doesn’t have a usual doctor in Bethany Beach!! She was suffering with severe lip inflammation and because of Ashley and Dr. Burke squeezing her in on the schedule- she was able to finally get relief!! Huge thank you to Burke Dermatology for their compassionate nature and making a difference for a special patient, my Mom!! It’s not often you find a practice that has such a kind, genuine, and empathetic team. Highly recommend!!!!

very accomodating and friendly staff, I was having a itchy dry cough during my visit, and they gave me one. Dr Burke’s introduce himself, he asked about my issue at that time( dishydrotic eczema), he ask my medical history and look at the sight, base on everything he saw and heard from my experience, he knew what I was going through, so he prescribed me with the right medication and told me it should be gone in less that 4weeks, guess what, it cleared up in 2weeks. I have been getting this issue since I was little, and everytime I go to a dermatologist or a doctor, they always tell me its some kind of allergy or an athletes foot and they would give me the wrong prescription, sometimes it would even worsen my problem like my last visit before going to Dr Burke. Thanks to all the staff, receptionist and Dr Burke, i would definitely recommend going to this facility for any skin problems.

I visited Burke Dermatology recently for a lesion that appeared on my face and I only have good things to say about them. Prior to this visit, I have never seen a dermatologist, so I was a little nervous, however, the lady at the front desk (I forgot her name) put me at ease right away.

My wait time was minimal and both the nurse and the physician's assistant, Drew, that I seen were great. Drew has an awesome bedside manner and is very engaged. Thank goodness, the lesion turned out to be something very minor and I only needed it to be frozen. Drew explained exactly what he was going to do and how it would feel, which by the way, was not bad at all. If I ever need to visit the dermatologist again, Burke Dermatology will be where I go.

The staff are very nice. The nurse who attended to me today put me at ease with a concern I had. This was the second time that Drew Venables, PA-C, MMS has seen me. He made me feel comfortable and took care of my concerns. I will be back next year.

I visited this practice and Dr. Brooks for the first time today and was very pleased by my experience. I waited about a month for an appointment, which I thought was very reasonable for a dermatologist. I arrived very early for my appointment and was, due to a recent Covid surge, pleased to see that masks were required. The office had parking right out front and was clean and nicely decorated. I was greeted promptly by a polite receptionist who took my list of prescriptions and photos from a recent skin problem. She gave me just 2 forms to complete. Despite my very early arrival I waited only about 10 minutes to be called and escorted to an exam room. I explained to the nurse/assistant why I was there and then waited only a few minutes for Dr. Brooks. He was polite and friendly and asked about my background. He reviewed with me the photos I brought, explaining that my skin’s reaction to treatment for sun-damage was normal. He examined my entire body and explained what he found—nothing concerning. After asking if I had any more questions, he suggested I return annually—which I plan to do.

Very happy with my experience today. I came To this office a few years ago and was not happy with how I was Treated by the office staff, but today I can Say that things have changed for the better! I was In and out in no time, everything was clean and organized and Ashley was SO SWEET! I am So glad I decided to give this location another try.

I am very pleased with my treatment and the staff! I hadn’t been able to wear shorts in six years! After seeing Drew Venables I am able to! My skin did a 360! I can’t say enough good things about how friendly and helpful the office team is! I received prompt call backs and assistance with insurance stuff! They made it effortless! Thank you Drew, Tina, and the amazing nurse who’s name escapes me at the moment!

I had been going to another Dermatologist for two years with the same issue with a bad breakout on my legs. He was flippant and acted like he didn't care to help. So I decided I had enough and went to BURK DERMATOLOGY..IN 30 days my legs are nearly healed and look SO MUCH BETTER. I saw DREW VENABLES and he was very concerned and gave it his all to help heal my legs. I am so greatful for his help and knowledge of how to treat this condition. I have been a patient with Burke Dermatology for some time, and I have always found their services outstanding. Their office staff, doctors, and PAs are professional, caring, and skilled. Drew, the PA I usually see, is especially impressive because of his attention to detail, his skill, and his patient focused care. He discovered a facial skin cancer, which I have since had removed, before I even suspected an issue. He takes the time to thoroughly evaluate any skin issues I may have. I strongly recommend Burke Dermatology!

First time visit today with Dr Brooks for a skin check of an area of concern, waited 3 weeks for the appt. (but had requested to see the Dr).
Easy parking in front and in back, clean and well appointed reception area. Arrived 20 minutes early and receptionist immediately checked me in. I waited not even 5 mins in reception area and in treatment room. Dr Brooks was very professional and knowledgeable and explained his diagnosis in detail. Very warm and impressive practice staff.
I will be going back for my annual full body skin check.

I was really impressed by my experience- the staff was kind and helpful, my appointment was right on time, and Dr. Brooks was very friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clearly run with a level of professionalism, efficiency, and respect for the value of patients' time that you don't always get everywhere in Sussex county, and I really appreciated it.

I have been going to Dr Burke's office in Lewes for several years and have only had good experiences there. The staff is friendly and professional on the phone and in person. I have had Mohr's surgery and thankful Dr Burke discovered the need for that. I am glad to have this practice available in southern Delaware.

My husband and I went in for a routine skin check today. The front desk staff was very professional and friendly. The office was clean and they ran close to on time, that is always a plus in my book. We both saw the PA, he was personable and answered all our questions. The nurse that assisted him was friendly and generally put you at ease. This was the first visit to Burke Dermatology, there were recommended to us by a family friend. I also checked with my family doctor, and was told they refer all there patients to them as well. I would highly recommend Burke Dermatology, our experience was nothing but positive, and will be seeing them again next year. Thank You!

I had a MAJOR problem with the right side of my face. It was terribly sunken in. I had no idea what was causing it, and neither did any Dr. I saw, and I saw many. This problem started @ 5-6 yrs ago after a fall from about 3 ft. I hit my chin, and broke 3 ribs. I wasn't concerned about the chin right away since the pain from the broken ribs was excruciating. I recently found out that from the fall, the soft tissue on the right side of my face had been compromised. I made an appointment to see Dr. Burke in his Rehoboth Beach office. Some of the reviews were very negative and I really didn't know what to expect. Reviewers complained about the office workers and Dr. Burke himself. I arrived at his office and was greeted by an excellent staff who were very helpful and never made me feel like I was not welcome there. Dr. Burke could not have been nicer. He listened to what I had to say, gave me several different options and I was the one who made the choice on what I wanted done. With his knowledge and expertise my face has been made to look so much better. When I look in the mirror now I feel totally different and I'm almost back to normal and I can only thank Dr. Burke and his staff for this. This Dr. is kind, compassionate and caring. If anyone ever asks me, or I ever hear about someone needing to see a dermatologist I would absolutely tell the person to call Burke Dermatology.

My second time at Burke Dermatology, Lewes office,the front office staff is excellent, I had no appointment, and they fit me in, and Drew Venable is the best , excellent PA-C and all around nice guy.

This was my first visit to Dr Burke’s office. I had read some previous reviews and had mixed feelings going in. My experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly yet professional. I commend them on keeping their professional attitude while dealing with some of the most rude and entitled clients. I witnessed 4 of them first hand. They were rude to the staff and other clients including myself. I would ask anyone who has given this office a negative review to look back and ask yourself if you could have handled the situation any better. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.

I’ve been to their Dover and Rehoboth locations, both are great and I appreciate that they have relatively late appointment times. I’ve been seen for general skin checks and for acne. Finding what works for your skin takes time and they will figure it out with you, which will likely take more than one appointment no matter where you to. Thorough and kind staff.
