Great old fashioned style country. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The store is stocked with a little bit of everything and a great source of locally produced maple syrup. Weather in the area and need something or want a road trip to step back in time this place is worth the trip.

Perfect for all needs. We were passing by and decided to stop. They carry all groceries, fresh produce, wine, area maps, coffee and ice cream.

There's an awesome picnic area and bench right in front across the road with wild raspberries!

So nostalgic to visit this place again just recently. When I was a child my grandfather's Jack and Donato Carrara would give us grandchildren a quarter and we would walk down the big hill from his farm to get a brown paper bag full of penny candies. The store has only changed a little from what I recall. But I still love to stop there when in the area.

Pierces should be also classified as a touristic attraction. On top of a really nice and diverse assortment of local products, the store itself is almost a museum with cool memorabilia and a 70s feel.
Finally make sure to get some locally produced Crowley cheese and whole milk - both are excellent and taste like real food.

It's a co-op now. Caters more toward the out of town visitor looking for a fine bottle of wine or block of cheese. Has plenty of ice during this 90+ degree week.

Stop at this store! Fresh anadama bread, scones, a case of Mac and cheese (homemade) and other yummies.. local crafts (pricey but of an artistic quality. A wonderful place, thank you to everyone who has kept this gem alive.

I’ve always had absolutely wonderful experiences at Pierce’s. The store exudes charm and Sally’s management results in a staff that is always welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. A must place to visit when in Vermont.
