Wonderful rooms to choose from. We had a gas fireplace in the suite, which gave a very nice ambiance. It is a large suite with a sitting area, a dining table with chairs, and a separate room with the bed. The hotel is located right across the bridge from the main streets containing shops and restaurants (a 5 minute walk, or so). Very convenient. Definitely recommend this hotel, and we look forward to our next visit.

Diane was an absolute delight. From the minute we checked in, she was attentive, friendly and made sure our stay was perfect! My friend and I meet up and have stayed here 4 years in a row and will continue to keep coming back. The rooms are beautiful, bright, comfortable and clean. Thank you Hotel Blue and your fantastic staff for making our annual vacation always a special event to look forward to year after year! See you in 2024! :-)

We really enjoyed our stay at this snazzy adults-only boutique hotel. The lobby is designed to convey a kind of nightclub vibe. It boasts a working espresso machine. All of the various staff at the desk were helpful engaging and friendly during our stay.

Our room was spacious and cleverly laid out. There was a coffee preparation area that had its own little bar sink. The refrigerator was a good size and had a freezer compartment. Microwave! The bathroom had his and hers sinks. And the toilet was in its own separate water closet. We noticed a gas fireplace so a winter visit might be tempting. Our balcony overlooked the canal.

Serious swimmers might be disappointed by the small pool. But if the object is to get some sun and cool off the sparkling clean pool would be just a ticket.

Lewes itself is a class act with first class restaurants beautiful old buildings and a very nice beach. Hotel Blue is a 10 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk to many of the restaurants in the quaint downtown. The Wheelhouse, a classic Delmarva seafood restaurant, is right across the street.

Went to a wedding recently and did not know what to expect having never traveled to Lewes before. What a pleasant surprise for me and my family! Booked 2 rooms and had a grand time. The rooms were nicely laid out with a shower tall, soaking tub and separate water closet. Small kitchenette area, sitting area with table, TV and fireplace. A separate bedroom finished off the nice accommodations with a view of the fireplace. We will definitely return.

Had a wonderful stay. The rooms are modern and well set up. Lights in the ice buckets. The staff was helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff were great. I left headphones a bit later I got a call to come pick them up. Close to restaurants and not too far a walk to the beach. Bayside. Will definitely 💯 percent go back.

Five stars aren't enough for the Blue. I booked a couple's birthday weekend here based on the reviews, photos, and distance to things we are most interested in. In all areas, Hotel Blue exceeded our expectations.
We walked to the beach, breakfast, shopping, and some of the best craft cocktails and oysters we've ever had (Lewes Oyster House).
The degree of class at this hotel far outpaces the price point for these suites. We chatted with Diane during the complimentary wine bar on Saturday and drooled (figuratively) over the custom blue and white sofas in the reception area. The tile work throughout, the blue led lights here and there, the self-serve cappuccino maker- every little detail felt like it was thought out and placed there just for us.
The staff are friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The vibe at the property is super relaxed.
This short getaway turned into one of the most exquisite vacations we've ever had. Thank you to Hotel Blue.

My boyfriend and I stayed here Feb 13th-14th and we had a wonderful stay. The room and bathrooms were clean, the decor was cute and we absolutely loved having our own personal outdoor patio. We encountered two different front desk employees during our stay, both of which were very pleasant! The complimentary coffee was good. There is a little kitchenette area with a microwave, mini fridge/freezer and coffee maker which would be great for people staying for a more extended period of time. Also love that they are an adult only hotel. Kids are great but sometimes its nice to have some peace and quiet! I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! Thank you!

Hotel Blue was the perfect location in Lewes for a beach trip with a friend. We took advantage of the pool and the coffee/tea stand in the lobby, and were very comfortable in our studio with a view. Each staff member we met was welcoming.

Rooms were large and clean. Place was quiet. I'd recommend it with the caveat bring a bike to get to the beach.

It was close to downtown Lewes within walking distance. Lots of bike trails you can ride all the way to Rehoboth easily!

We absolutely LOVE this place! We needed to change our reservation at the last minute, and the management was extremely gracious and accommodating. The rooms are well appointed, especially for the price. We took full advantage of the fireplace, which was fabulous. Because it was my birthday, we had a split of champagne waiting for us in the room when we arrived - such a nice touch! The location is excellent with lots of dining options and shopping within walking distance. This was our 3rd or 4th time staying at this adorable hotel, and we will keep coming back, because it reallly is a great place to stay!

This hotel is a WONDERFUL off-season find. Although it is on the other side of the canal, you can basically walk anywhere in the center of Lewes downtown from here within 7-10 minutes. Our room was reasonably priced and much larger than we expected with a queen sized bed, nice sofa, sitting area with table, deck, and a bathroom that included 2 sinks and separate bath and shower. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. We highly recommend it and will stay here again on our next trips to Lewes. Note: many rooms have 2 night minimums but if you search you can find one night options as we did.

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and efficient when checking in. Our room was very very clean (and I am picky). The included in the room were all exactly what we needed. Microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge, wine opener and cups. The room size was nice. The fireplace was needed for the damp May weather this year. The bed was comfortable and parking was perfect. So many restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It was quiet after Labor Day, but it’s possible that our ground floor suite with the enclosed patio wouldn’t have been relaxing in-season. That little patio with koi pond was perfect in the still-warm evenings.
The room was huge and very comfortable.
I had a nice time lounging on the pool floats.
The location is great, a short walk to shops and restaurants. The beach isn’t really far, but we chose to drive there due to the chairs and umbrella we were taking.

One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Staff is friendly and service was first rate.
Room was large, plenty of room (we travel a lot, and one thing i cannot stand is hotel room claustrophobia lol) and very well appointed. Comfortable bed and furnishings, bathroom was huge and well laid out. Fireplace was a very nice touch. Location was excellent also; very close to everything; easy to get to also.
Hotel staff is very knowledgeable about the area as well.
10/10, highly recommend and WILL stay there again!!!!

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at this lovely 16 room hotel. We had a studio with a warm fireplace. The room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Everything was well thought out for guest comfort. Features included twin sinks, makeup mirror, in room safe, robes and on site parking. Conveniently located a short walk from great shopping and dining in Lewes. The hotel is quiet and serene. A shoutout to Steve at the front desk who was friendly and accommodating. Thanks for the spot on dining recommendations! Highly recommended.

Such a fantastic place to stay while in Lewes. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is eclectic and fun. The rooms are very nice and the cleanest I’ve ever seen. All of the property is very well maintained and the pool is great. The location is top-notch. Walk to the shops and to the beach. Rent a bike right next door and ride all over Lewes.

I will book this place every year with my wife if possible. This place is quiet, cozy and so relaxing. It's located very close to everything such as food places and small shops in downtown Lewes. I can't really describe how enjoyable being in this place was. I loved the fact that it was 18 years and over. No children allowed. Each room is customized with a different theme and well thought out. What we paid "out of season" was perfect for us. We didn't break the bank for a nice evening together.

Go ahead and book it, you'll enjoy the quiet coziness of this hotel. You can thank me later. 😄😊

This place is very nice and comfortable. It has everything you need. I forgot to take a photo of the living room but you walk in and go past the bathroom in to your own living room. This has French doors that open up into the bedroom. In the living room the is a couch with coffee table, a table and chairs, a fire place and a television. There is also a small balcony off this that looks out over cattails. I imagine some have water views. The bathroom is amazing. It's split into 3 parts and offers a tub and shower. The fireplace is electric and my favorite touch. Blue Hotel has a different decorative style than most hotels which makes it stand out in a positive way. I've stayed here twice and also in other locations, but hope to never stay anywhere else again.
