Bell Buoy Inn

Been here two summers in a row and the place is always clean. It's an older building but you are here to go to the beach right! A quiet place you can bring your family for a nice weekend at the beach. Some of the rooms have a full kitchen available. No pool on location. Has it's own private parking. They will provide linens.

Stayed in the apartment this past weekend and it was super nice! Great hotel to stay at! The location is perfect, steps away from the beach and less than 15 minute walk to all the bars. Staff is super accommodating and every staff member was super nice. Looking forward to my next stay here!!!

What I loved most about this hotel is the friendly owner, and staff. Honestly, they were always asking if we needed anything, how we're doing.... etc. Its very family oriented, and sure its not the most modern of places to stay, but if you're looking for a place to stay that's seconds from the beach, walking distance to shops and restaurants, this is the place to stay. Great water pressure in the shower too! :) I had a great time here with my friends, and would definitely book another stay! Thank you!

Loved this place, you cannot beat it for how close we were to the beach. The staff was always available and they were so very friendly. Chucky the cat is also there to escort you to the beach as well sometimes. The rooms were very clean and the beds are super comfortable.

It's steps from the beach. The staff was amazing. You have an amazing deck to sit on in the mornings. We rented the 2 bedroom apartment and even though it was a little out dated it was great. They had everything we needed stove, fridge, dish washer down to the pots and pans and silverware. We had plenty of beach towels and regular towels. My kids loved it. There was so much space I will deffdefini be back to Bell Buoy Inn

Since our first stay here in 2015 we have quickly come to consider this our second home when in Dewey and the owner & his amazing staff are like our extended family. You won't find a more pet friendly hotel in town, they even put your pet's name on the door. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are large and spacious not to mention quiet, you would never know that Coastal Hwy is more feet away. There's a large deck on the second floor with lounge chairs & tables for all the guests to enjoy, an outdoor shower and they even have beach towels for your dog to borrow. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated but who comes to the beach to hang out in a room? We love being about 100 yards from the beach and right across the street is an area on the bay we can take our dog to swim plus enjoy the new lighthouse cove boardwalk. Every year when we check out in October I book our room for all our stays the following year, we can't imagine sharing the sunsets with anyone besides Tim, Todd, JB, Deb & Chuckie (the hotel cat).

This is a vintage / classic beach inn. No frills, just a clean room, wonderful people working there, and they allow pets. Mostly dogs, but you can talk to them about special accommodation. You are on the ocean side and can easily walk to the beach. There is a stand that rents day chairs and umbrellas, so you don't need to bring your own. I love this place.

Booked our stay in Dewey Beach here for the weekend. All the staff at the Bell Buoy Inn are very wonderful people. They are very friendly and kind. Will definitely book another stay when going to Dewey Beach again.

Staff was excellent, very laid-back motel. Really enjoyed chilling on the deck and meeting Chucky the cat! Super-close to the beach it was so enjoyable. Thanks guys! We'll be back

Been coming to Dewey Beach for over twenty five years and would not consider staying anywhere but the Bell Buoy. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable and the owners and staff are some of the friendliest, most helpful people you will meet anywhere. When we tell people about Dewey Beach we tell them the Bell Buoy is where the need to stay.

Friendly staff, its clean but dated as many others stated. If youre looking for a place to stay and dont need all the amenities, less Than a block from the beach. Than Bell Buoy is a good place for you. Also say hi to chubbie Chuckie, the resident watch cat.

I loved it! Deb, Todd and JB are wonderful and aim to make your stay pleasant. This is officially "my place" in Dewey!

Had a very pleasant time stay there for 3 nights 4 days could excess with animals doggies the beach Oceanside and the beach Bayside very nice accommodations very nice staff very enjoyable experience look forward to coming back had an overall rating of joy joy joy God bless

I was there in Sept 2015 and the staff was amazingly fun ! Their cat would walk us to and from the beach which was walking distance ! I loved it there !
