Salero was absolutely the most amazing place to have a beach wedding. The room is so beautiful and surrounded by a full beach view. Dawn was wonderful to work with. She was organized, helpful and also fun to talk with. She made sure every detail was perfect. Also all of our guests were raving about the delicious food. Thanks to Dawn, we will never forget our wonderful wedding!

Salero was a dream local destination venue for my LGBTQ wedding! Salero was a great venue and dance floor. Dawn and her team did a great job pacing the night. Dawn was super personable and responded timely to our questions. During the wedding, she made sure to check in with what we wanted and how we were doing the whole day. The DJ, Steve, went above and beyond for our requests with showing a video we made and going over our playlist.

We had our wedding reception at Salero. Everything was phenomenal! Dawn made sure every detail was perfect! The food was amazing!! One guest commented that it was the best wedding food they ever ate. Our wedding reception was a dream come true and stress-free!

Salero is a fantastic venue with oceanfront views and Dawn and her team are top notch. From the moment we met Dawn and saw the venue we knew we wanted to have our wedding reception there (the wedding ceremony was on the beach in front of Henlopen Hotel). Dawn was quick to communicate throughout the entire process. She offered helpful tips and vendor suggestions. Thanks again for everything Dawn! You’re the best! Her husband, the chef, and his team made delicious food that all of our guests enjoyed. And DJ Steve was amazing. He assisted with the ceremony order of things and kept the party going all night at the reception. Just a perfect day all around and I would recommend them to anyone.

Salero is an incredible venue. Dawn Horton made my wedding unforgettable! The views and sunset were amazing, this is without a doubt the premier spot in Rehoboth Beach!!

Amazing experience! My friend was just married here and my husband and I had a great experience. Dawn and her staff were eager to help with everything we asked for the bridal party. The food was amazing-yummy bacon wrapped scallops, egg rolls, bruscetta, huge shrimp and dips- all excellent. Then dinner came and after the amazing appetizers and we didn't think it could get better but it did. The crab cake was all meat no filler and was incredible. Even the potatoes and veggies were cooked perfectly. The bartender was super friendly and the dj kept all the guests moving. Beautiful view from the top of the hotel out to the beach. I am not usually impressed with reception hall food but this was a pleasant surprise.

We just recently had our wedding reception at Salero on May 28, 2022. We knew Salero was “the one” last year when we visited the venue and met Dawn. She made things so easy- from the day we made our first deposit until the day we made it official ❤. Our wedding day was nothing less of spectacular and all of our guests are still raving about the food and overall experience. We had the most perfect day and I am so happy we decided to go with the beach wedding experience!

This is a very late but well deserved review. I got married here in September of 2019 and it was the best experience. Dawn was amazing in every aspect. Extremely communicative & helpful, but most of all, she is SO FUN! She knows exactly what she is doing. Do not hesitate to book your wedding or event here -- she has every detail nailed down. Our guests still talk so highly of everything!

So, if you’re planning a wedding, you know the process is stressful. Up until the reception, I would have recommended eloping or doing a destination wedding...BUT after how amazing Salero was, I would recommend this place to anyone. From the first time we met Dawn and saw the venue, we knew this was it. We didn’t go anywhere else. The facility is beautiful, with an amazing view. Once decorated with all the finishing touches for our wedding, we were so incredibly pleased. The food was absolutely amazing. The DJ kept the dance floor packed all night...I even made it out there for a while and I NEVER dance. And Dawn....shew....where to begin. She was amazing, attentive, helpful, had the utmost attention to detail, always made sure my wife and I had a drink in our hand, made sure we were fed (very well), and made this experience as smooth and memorable as possible. I’m ready to find another reason to throw a party there. There was not one thing that we asked of her that was too much or inconvenient. She bent over backwards to make sure we worried about nothing that night and made the night ran so smooth. Her staff was absolutely amazing as well and were more than happy to do anything asked of them. I just can not say enough about how incredible this experience was!!
Our wedding was 10/26/19

We had our wedding here during the pandemic. Dawn was accommodating to our changing number of guests and was able to make some adjustments in our agreement. She was very responsive to email and phone calls during all of our planning. Our guests enjoyed the bird eye view of the beach from the venue as well.

On the set up and day of there were a few things that’s weren’t per our contract, but when brought to Dawn’s attention they were fixed quickly. Salero staff helped our day run smoothly which we appreciate.

From our first walk through to the end of our reception EVERYTHING was perfect and absolutely beautiful! The owner Dawn is fantastic and extremely helpful. She makes sure your day is as stress free as possible,not to mention her husband,the chef,OMG I can’t say enough good things about their food! Our family & friends have been talking about how good it was ever since. You will not be disappointed if you book them for any event I promise! Thank you Dawn from the Cachero’s ♥

If you're considering using this as a venue for anything, stop considering and book the venue. Dawn is, hands down, the best at what she does. We woke up on our wedding day to no beach because of four storm systems coming together. Dawn made sure I knew my options for the day and I have never seen someone so on top of everything for an indoor wedding. She was all over the place from guiding people where they needed to be, to making sure my husband and I ate enough, to finding us two of our coozies as we were introduced. Dawn will help make your day everything you want it to be, and the food her husband makes is some of the best I've ever had.

Their house DJ, Steve, is also great at what he does. He kept our friends ds and family on the dance floor all night and was incredibly easy to work with leading up to the wedding!

The two regrets from my wedding day: not booking the venue for the additional hour they offer, and not eating more of the food. My recommendation would be the chicken curry!

Awesome wedding experience! My husband and I are both food professionals of over 25 years. We couldn't have chosen a perfect place for out daughter's wedding reception. The food was spectacular, friends and family are still raving about it. The service was perfect, Dawn went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The DJ was unbelievable, absolutely perfect wedding venue!!!!! We loved it!!! Couldn't have experienced a more more perfect wedding weekend.

Must add Henlopen Hotel is not quite worthy of an establishment as fine as Solero, I would recommend staying elsewhere in Rehobeth, close to Solero.

There are no words that can describe the utter and complete satisfaction we experienced having our wedding at Salero. From our first meeting with Dawn through the final moments of our reception, Dawn was the ultimate planner, organizer, partner, supporter and perfect catering/event coordinator!!!!!
The venue is the perfect location for your dream beach wedding. The Unobstructed view of the beach and ocean sits on the roof top of the Henlopen Hotel. The room is beautifully and tastefully decorated. The seating and room was perfect for our guests (140).
Together, Dawn, my wife and I, developed our personalized menu and Chef Chris and his team executed it all to perfection. The food was amazing! The service was wonderful.
Mike the DJ played every song on our pre-planned play list and then some. His out-going personality and the music selections had our friends dancing well into the long night.
100% of our guests traveled to get to our wedding. We were so excited to introduce them to Rehoboth and all its colorful attributes. We love Rehoboth and wanted to make it special.
Our only disappointment was the Henlopen Hotel. Dawn has made every effort to update the decor and ambiance of Solero and the Henlopen Hotel has appeared to have done little. I would hate to have Solero negatively impacted by the lack of service, decor, upkeep and facilities in this dated hotel.
If your dream is to have a perfect beach wedding experience, you won't find a better venue then the Salero.

Our wedding reception went incredibly well! The food, the bar, the music, the setup...it was all phenomenal! Our guests had a blast as well! The owners and their staff took great care of us and made it seamless.

Doesnt matter what the reason is behind your event, I'd guarantee Dawn will go to the ends of the earth to ensure you will be left smiling with tons of wonderful memories to last a lifetime. Luckily I bet she'd never have to go that far to make it happen for you because she's just THAT GOOD and makes doing what she does look easy but it's a challenge few could handle with the class and style with which she does!!
