I had a very rewarding customer experience here!

I bought some flip flops yesterday and, unfortunately, they broke after just wearing them for one day. I didn't have a receipt, so I wasn't expecting much. However, the owner said he remembered me and let me exchange them without question for some flip flops of equal value. He was very friendly and accomodating.

I'd absolutely shop here again :)

I worked for the family that owns this establishment for several years I helped managed two of the original stores, Coastal Tee Shirts which was on the Ave., and also, Coastal Beachwear which was on the boards in the lower level of the Star Of The Sea. The owners are like family to me, a joy to work with. They are respectful and generous to their employees. Customer service is of the highest priority and greeting people upon entering is a must. Tidal Rave is a great place to work and shop...

Great prices & selection! I’ve been there 3 days in a row with different staff members. They were all helpful & kind to me. I do notice that other people do not treat the items with respect or watch their children running around trying to destroy the place.I’m sure that is frustrating for staff. I even find I’m going out of my way to spend my money there. If I’m going to spend money it will only be here!

This will be my new favorite place so many cute things an a variety of other things as well will be back next time we go to the beach

Loved all the options for souvenirs. Plus, great clothes for women & shirts/sweatshirts for kids. Staff was nice!

A fine--albeit mildly raunchy--beach shop where you can get all the wears and fares one would expect from a beach shop to include sunscreen, souvenirs, offensive shirts, jewelry and more.

My experience was not bad. Not much difference from other novelty shops in the area. Should work on customer service though

I’ve been going to this place for years, I like their selection of clothing and smoke items. The lady is sweet there but the bald man not so much. He seemed like he had an attitude or was irritated for some reason.

As a family with two small children, we stopped in to get quick souvenirs on our way out of town. We were disappointed in the unprofessional staff who cursed not once, but three times in front of my children. The same employee also harassed my 5 year old for touching the toys that he was thinking about picking out, even though I was right beside him and making sure he wasn't playing with them (because the many signs rudely pointed out that no one should touch anything). We were not welcomed as customers, but instead made to feel like we shouldn't be in the store. Overall, we will never be giving them our business again.

This place may be ok if you don't mind being followed around like a shoplifter. My daughter and I went there looking for a bikini top for her. We weren't wearing baggy clothes, carrying bags, or acting suspicious in any way. However, when I went over to see what my daughter had found, there was an employee straightening hanging items 2 feet away. My daughter took me over to another rack and the employee moved with us about 2 feet away again. I then noticed another employee standing about 10 feet away also watching us. Having a retail background, I realize this is a technique used to take away the opportunity for theft. But this should be used with suspected shoplifters. I can think of no reason why we would have been suspected of such. If they treat every customer this way, they are bound to lose a lot of business. They certainly did today!

Got accused of shoplifting because we were taking our time and my sister was wearing a bracelet she previously purchased there

The staff follows you all through the store, very closely to the point of making u not want to shop here. With many other beach shops in close proximity, that is not a wise move. Also staff discourages shoppers from picking up shirts to review the size. I walked out without making a purchase and found my items elsewhere. Do not shop here.

This is the WORST store I have EVER experienced. Me and my daughter and her father went in there to look for a beach bracelet for my daughter...She saw a corded expandable bracelet with a starfish on it and went to try it on...so she handed it to her father to have him loosen it up and when he went to pull it apart the cord snapped, this man followed us to the exit and insisted that we had to buy it. I told him it was defective and i was not paying for it me and my husband both told him what happened but he did not care he became very aggressive and rude and my 10 year old daughter began to cry from being scared..he then followed us out onto the boardwalk and said he was gonna call the cops we told him to and would be glad to speak to them...him and my husband had words exchanged towards eachother and he went after my husband to fight him in front ofmy 10 year old and everyone on the boardwalk..I was in fear for our safety..he then told us to get the f*** outta here away from him...we left then only to find him following us again and had a police officer with him. I glady walked up to speak to the officer amd heard him saying that we purposely broke the bracelet a complete absurd lie. In the end the cops did nothing about it and thought it was a joke as well...That guy was way out of context..Rehoboth boardwalk really needs to investigate this place and have them shut down..Another store owner said that people walk out of there crying all the time bc of the way the owner and the worker treat people...I can not believe this happened and that this store gets away with this..It is sick that it continues to happen and nothing gets done about it. I will do everything i can to see that something gets done about this store...PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. We DESERVE BETTER!!!!!!!! This is a rating of below zero!

While you’re on the phone, yet taking money for a sale, at least have common courtesy, to thank you customers. You guys need customer service training.
