Very nicely done memorial. It was very humbling to walk through seeing all the names of people who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Beautiful memorial honouring law enforcement officers who died serving and protecting us. It is definitely worth visiting this after the museum to reflect on what you saw at the museum. It is a very humbling experience at this memorial.

Right across from the Law Enforcement Museum, this open air solemn area is a must stop. Beautiful memorial area where family members leave photos and flowers for their loved ones.

Amazing, and so interactive. As a law enforcement officer, I recommend everyone in LE or not to visit this museum. My 9 year old was engaged and learned a lot.

A somber place to visit. Well groomed landscaping and the best lion statues outside of NYC Public Library. Lots of shade to eat your lunch and remember those that have died enforcing our laws.

Just one of the many memorials in DC. Books are located at one end so you can look up names. As the daughter and grand daughter of LEOs, I had to stop and look up names of fallen family friends.

Words can not describe just how beautiful of a tribute this place was. The museum in the background is also a must visit.

Dedicated in 1991, this memorial contains the names of over 20k law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty. Sitting on about 3 acres of Judiciary Square, this park features 2 long marble walls with the names of the slain carved there. There are stands with the names and locations of the slain, should you desire to look up a specific person; furthermore, the NLEOA also offers a self guided walking tour that highlights some of the officers on the wall - this can be located on their website. Finally, this memorial is living, meaning names are added each Spring, unfortunately.

Love everything about this place. Serene. Giving tribute to those who gave all in service to their community.

I've been to this place over a dozen times. It's very well maintained.

Keeping the memories of the ones who served the public alive, to me, is one awesome gesture.

A beautiful memorial and tribute to all of the Law Enforcement killed in the line of duty. I believe it is imperative to see the museum in addition to this memorial especially if you have never worn the badge. Well thought out, peaceful place. Thank you. A large QR placed near the books to make donations would have been a nice addition.

So sad and humbling at the same time. A great way to honor our fallen blue family. Reading some of the notes left behind and seeing photos was heartbreaking.

Awesome experience. I visited with my wife and son to pay our respects to all law enforcement officers, and to see one of my former sergeants name on the memorial wall. Beautiful memorial and the staff was incredible. Special shout out to Mr. Charles Humphrey who made our visit special.

Very somber and moving. It was great to see these heroes are remembered. No one who sacrificed so much for others should ever be forgotten.

A beautiful memorial for those who have given their lives while serving and protecting their communities.

There are stations around the memorial to obtain paper and pencils to try to get a rubbing of the engraved names. We didn't have any luck, despite multiple attempts and different types of pencils, but other people were able to get some amazing results.
