DC Pizza

Great place to come and pick up a pie, either regular sized or personal. The crust is thin with some flop. The standard sauce (they offer several) is a good balance of sweet and acidic. The toppings, from the meats to the cheese, all taste very fresh. Inside the restaurant, it's a bit cluttered and tight, but that does evoke kind of an old-school, downtown pizza joint feel.

It’s takeout only but there’s tables out front if you want to eat it there. We elected to take it back to our room, and it was still delicious. We did the chicken pesto and meat likers. I preferred the meat likers while my husband preferred the chicken pesto. A great quick dinner and/or takeout in downtown.

You have got to try this pizza! This is like &pizza but better and more ways to mix and match ingredients to your liking. I picked up some DC Pizza with friends and walked over to eat it at the Washington Monument. DC Pizza at the Washington Monument; does it get much better than that? I got a regular pizza with sausage, pepperoni, onions, and mushrooms, with some Honey Sriracha on top. I added some oregano, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese and OOOOOEY that was good. The service is obviously pretty quick. The workers had a tiny bit of an attitude but what can you expect in a city. The location is pretty small because the kitchen is just the entire center of the space. Pizza boxes line a corner all the way from the floor to the ceiling. Fun fact: Free ice cream on Tuesdays! Overall, DC Pizza gets 5 Stars!!!

We were looking for a quick spot to grab a bite to eat after a long day of sightseeing. I settled on this place because of their great reviews as well as their ability to accommodate a gluten-free dietary restriction. It was also just a few minutes walk from our hotel.

When we arrived, there was one party waiting for their pizza to finish cooking and one party ahead of us to order. The ordering process is clearly indicated in multiple places. Once we decided on our orders, we handed them off to be made, got our drinks, and paid for our food. All of the pizzas were done quickly and made just as requested. Although, there is a long counter flanking one side of the restaurant, we opted to sit outside.

All of our pizzas were very good. And they were a good size. I was able to split one with my daughter and still be full. Clearly we made the right choice.

Pro-tip: They have a rewards program you can sign up for at the register.

We were in town for a conference looking for a place to eat lunch, this pizza joint had the highest rating so we decided to try it. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I called before we headed over, the owner picked up and answered my question. We walked over from the hotel, the owner greeted us as we entered. Their ticker tape order machine was continuously spitting out orders, we knew it had to be good. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful and delicious pizza. Everything was great — the toppings, the cheese, the combinations. I was really impressed with this place. Some of the best pizza I’ve had and at an affordable price point too compared to the rest of your options in DC.

I had the fortunate experience to eat DC pizza last night. This is completely fantastic pizza. The flavor combinations and quality are the best around. I would highly recommend getting into this pizza shop and trying multiple flavors or creating your own. I will be enjoying this anytime. I'm in the area.

Love the customization on the pizzas. Not many places let you customize with sauce too. I prefer their spicy italian as I found their regular too sweet. There's a deal for four topping pizzas and they include as many finishes (herbs, oils, sauce) on top as you'd like. The pizzas are perfect to either eat on your own or share with a friend or two, depending on how hungry you are. For under 20 its a great find.

Today was my first time trying DC Pizza. The ordering process was clear and easy. Just take a menu, put your name on it, highlight what you want and give it to the team. Everyone was SUPER friendly and professional especially the gentleman at the till.

I got my pizza quickly, it was hot and great. I opted for the extra cheese but honestly next time I’ll just get the regular amount of cheese. Toppings were generous also. With a brownie and a root beer, total came to $17.52. Overall, everything was great.

Absolutely loved the place and the pizza. I got the honey Sriracha chicken pizza and they have a ton of condiments to add to your liking. Plus it was free ice cream day so they let me pick one as well. Lady behind the counter was super friendly as well. 11/10

It was great eating at this place again. It used to be a staple lunch spot when I worked in the area (prepandemic). It tastes just as good today as it did back then. I have always been a fan, even as other single-size pizza places have opened up. The toppings are fresh and it is always good for at least two meals.y four toppings- sausage, tomato, mushroom and pepperoni, with a spinach finish.

I came for Lunch . The employees were very friendly. I thought the pizza was going to be soggy, it wasn’t! This is was so good ! all ingredients were fresh. I paid about $13 for a 4 topping pizza. I would definitely recommend trying this pizza place. Bon Appetite 😋

I’m a creature of habit but I love DC pizza! The service is usually good and there’s free ice cream on Tuesdays! Recently tried the online order feature on google and it was ready when I got there and pipping hot! My order: Alfredo sauce, with pepperonis, chicken, jalapeños, spinach, and Buffalo drizzle.

I ordered the #4 Veg Me. Delicious! This is a no frills place. Seating is set up along the wall. Not a big deal because that’s not what you come for. The staff are friendly. Will visit again.

highly recommend D.C. pizza for a quick food stop. really nice and affordable pizza with great range of topping options - the build your own pizza includes up to 4 toppings with no extra cost. great crust and sauces, vegan cheese $2 extra but really tasty!

Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve had and I’ve tried the best pizzas in NYC and NJ. The meat likers, the veg me, and the pesto chicken are excellent! The price is a bargain for a downtown location in DC. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in DC again. Highly recommended!
