Great portuguese food in a cozy and friendly restaurant. They have a menu with a big variety from octopus to the tradition steak with french fries ( Portuguese style ). Totally recommend it

We found this location on yelp. They have a bar area, seperate dining area, and a small outdoor space. Our server was very pleasant, and was able to suggest some favorites. The chef surpise appetizers was full of flaor. The sauce was perfect for dipping our bread in. My sirloin tips were prepare just right. My wife loved her steak and said she hasn't tasted authentic Portgual cuisine since coming from Portugal. Going to make it back before our weekend trip is over.

Can't beat the atmosphere, it's really like being at your family's house for dinner. Indoor seating, but also a nice patio in the back that is lit up beautifully at night. A great place for dinner, but also nice to come for a few drinks, or an espresso as well. For the later crowd there is a pool table, and juke box, that you're able to use after the dining room is closed. My favorite dish here is the Chicken & Shrimp Alentejana; the sauce is amazing! I also highly recommend the espresso martini! I've brought guests from out of town here a few times and they still rave about the food.

Went there on a Friday night and the food as well as the service were exceptional. Prices are moderate. I can recommend the Kale soup and the Galinha Alentejana as well as the Carne Alentejana. We will be back.

We just tried this place for the first time and loved it! The food is inexpensive but so delicious. I can't speak to authenticity because I've never had Portuguese food before, but it was really tasty. We got the linguica for an app which was a flaming spicy kielbasa. It was wondeful! We highly recommend.

You must try the flaming linguica app! For a meal I had to go with old faithful... Carne Alentejana (marinated pork cubes with little neck clams in a white wine sauce... over cubed fried potatoes and rice). Never left hungry so far!

We had a awesome experiences here. We booked a 20+ person party for a baptism and the place was great. The food and apps were fresh. The staff was very attentive to our needs . Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is an amazing place! The food is great and they really treat you not like a friend but like family. Kali one of the wait staff is the best. She knows you by face if not by name. One side is a bar and we have never gone to that side. When you have dinner the dining room is so small and the people all tend to speak to each out. We had our Granddaughter with us who is only 1 and the restaurant loved her. My wife was born in the Azores and she says this is one of the best places. One of the older Portuguese patrons asked ever so nicely to give our Grand a big hug.

The Portuguese menu offered many delicious options and the food was wonderful. However, what made this place special for me was the wait staff. They were very friendly and very helpful in picking out just the right choices for us. They were out of the red wine we requested but the waitress had another Portuguese option that was superb. The whole atmosphere just made for a very special evening.

Every meal I've had is top notch. Reasonable pricing, nice outdoor area when the weather is good. Service is great, and whoever the chef is kills it.

The BEST Portuguese food anywhere this side of the Atlantic! It's not a dollar menu so be prepared to spend a few bucks. However, the portions are more than generous and could be eaten twice although the flavor is so amazing it will be difficult to put the fork down. If you want amazing flavor and a friendly environment then look no further than Friends restaurant and pub.

The best experience I have had in a very long time. This restaurant is owned and operated by husband and wife with the best culinary skills involving Azorean cuisine. I've tried to find restaurants that can compete but there is no other can match it's authenticity. Right down to its customers, people here feel as if they were all family.
