Great food wonderful service. The decor is awesome and plenty of room. The food presentation was awesome as well. I ate the seared ahi tuna, it tasted amazing. We were driving by on the interstate and decided to look for a nicer place to have lunch with the family, this fit the bill perfectly. Worth taking the extra time.

First time there and my daughter and i were so impressed with old meets new feeling. Its industrial yet country. Just felt super cozy. It was ladies night and happy hour so we couldn't beat that. We tried a few different drinks, the mojito was the best one i have ever tried, the bloody Mary's are more citrusy and i like hot and spicy but still good. I love blue cheese and had their burger and it was so good. My daughter loves pasta and went with alfredo. Very tasty and enough left over to bring home to share. Not to mention our waiter was super helpful with helping us to decide what to try and he even brought us out a tray of desserts to try. We were so full that we brought our desserts home for breakfast.

Loved the atmosphere. Lovely decor . The waiter was very nice and knew his stuff. The food was very very good. I had a fresh pita and a taco salad. Both were very yummy.

Food was crazy good! Quiet atmosphere for a date night or drinks with friends. Great keto options as well.

Great service, drinks and food! I had the crispy chicken sandwich. It was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. My margarita on the rocks was also great. The man that waited on us was very nice and made sure we were taken care of but didn't go overboard. I will eat there again.

I treated my father to dinner at the Old Market Eatery for his birthday, and he loved everything about it—the food, the atmosphere, the service. We appreciated the kind attentiveness of our server Sophia, who was very pleasant, made great recommendations, and got our food to the table quickly. I’m from out of town, but Dad loved the meal and service so much that he’s brought friends there since.

Amazing atmosphere! We had one waitress who was serving the whole restaurant and she still did an amazing job at our table. I ordered the veggie pita and I will certainly be coming back for it, so delicious! Also, they have cheap drinks on Thursdays which is really great.

I was recently at a party at this fine establishment. There were a lot of people lotta food and the waitresses were excellent.
I distinctly remember one young lady who stuck out better than the rest.
They believe her name was Stephanie and she was more than willing to get the service everyone deserved she really worked her butt off.

Went out for anniversary dinner and the drinks were fun and well made and the tuna my wife had and Mac and cheese I choose were both delicious! Service was fast and courteous! We really enjoyed our night!

My fiance and I went here the other day and it was AMAZING. I had the Old Market Burger and it was incredible and the fries were literally the best fries I've ever had. My fiance had a Chicken Pasta I wish I remembered the name of. It was incredible as well. We will definitely be coming back. I'd recommend this to everyone.

My husband and I went to Old Market for lunch today and everything was fantastic! I got the salmon caesar salad and my husband got the Smoked pork pita and both were delicious. We had a great time and our server Stefani was excellent! Definitely going back.

The pesto chicken was really tasty paired with some chips!

This is a great place to grab a drink or a bite to eat. They have great atmosphere here with excellent decor. And it's one of the few places in town that you can grab a drink on the weekend without it being too crowded. I highly recommend the angry orchard on tap.

Excellent food and service. Unique medium priced signature menu for those who desire more than the average chain restaurant choices. The building was a bank and still has the Vault door.
Our party had the chicken stirfry, cajun salmon, pita, burger and steak.
Full service bar.

Amazing atmosphere! I LOVE there sweet treats and specials. They are great at keeping options fresh. I especially love their lunches. Awesome food!

My boss and I were traveling through Brookings, SD on a business trip. We did a quick search on the internet for a good place to eat in Brookings, SD and the old Market Eatery was rated as #5. It looked charming on their web page and the menu sounded mouthwatering and high end.

It exceeded our expectations. The dining areas were warm and inviting. The decor was appealing and outright fun to look at and imagine in my home. HOWEVER, the food was incredible. Kudos to the chef....the goats cheese/spinach dip was "to die for". Smooth and creamy and full of flavor. We both had the special - Black and Blue New York Strip Steak with mashed potatoes. Yum....the steak melted in my mouth, and the mashed red potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts were a flavor explosion that had me cooing. Portions were sizable; in fact so much so, I was getting full with the goats cheese/spinach dip appetizer. While I just couldn't eat one of the desserts at the restaurant, I did bring home a rich chocolate cupcake with cream cheese/peppermint frosting. It was such a pleasure eating it for breakfast the next morning. I just wanted more.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a dining experience. It would be a great place for a first date, or a girls night out, or even an after work "I deserve this - pampering" . It is second to none in my book. And I look forward to going back every time I travel through Brookings, SD.

Old Market has delicious food, amazing service, and the staff is knowledgeable about gluten free and vegan food! I love eating or grabbing a drink with my ladies here. ❤
