Love my neighborhood Ace! Randall helped me find and install the right screws to attach new license plates to my car. He was very patient and flexible when I needed to leave for a call and come back to finish later. Everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful. The store is really well stocked and organized. And they are dog-friendly and have treats. Can't recommend it enough!

One of the best Ace Hardware stores in DC, if not the best. Definitely the most friendly and helpful store associates. Having them in my neighbor has been a life saver as a young homeowner. From helping find things in the store to sharpening knives, giving advice on projects, and having a great mix of household products and hardware on hand. Easy online ordering and fast in store pickup. Stop going to the “big box” stores and start coming here.

Randall was phenomenal and helped guide one of my most exciting DIY projects. He was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond in every way to ensure that I had exactly what I needed before I left the store. I highly recommend Randall and this Ace Hardware!

The place to get your keys! Ron is the best. Quality , friendly, knowledgeable service. was able to make a copy of a key that others said not possible and gave it to me for free to see if it worked out and it did! Small business customer service that I thought didn't exist anymore. Thank you !

I have been frequenting this hardware store for the last few months since I bought my house. While it is not the biggest store, they usually have what I need, as well as cool other home goods items that I usually pick up while there. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I have tried my hand at a ton of new projects and they have helped me every time - from plumbing to fixing doors to the right pest treatments. Really grateful to have this as my local store. Thanks to all of the wonderful employees there!

This store really does a great job with customer service. There was a male cashier with twists in his hair that really helped me out today! Yoi can tell he is knowledgeable and genuinely likes helping people!

I recently bought a home, and I have had several miscellaneous issues ranging from plumbing, construction, and landscaping that I have had to attend to. Every time I plan to begin a new project, I start at Annie's Ace Hardware.
This store offers quality products at a price that is competitive to the large warehouse hardware stores, but the staff are what really make the difference. The staff are not only extremely helpful but also very knowledgeable when providing suggestions on how to tackle a project. I have stopped in close to a dozen times in the past year, typically after work, and whenever I have a question, someone is there to provide an informed answer.
I went in looking for a plumbing snake, expecting to buy the cheap disposable plastic snakes (~$3/ea.), but the plumbing expert on staff suggested a more durable and stable metal one that was less likely to fracture while in the piping that cost $12. It works great, and I have already used it enough times to cover the cost of the disposal ones with many more uses to come.
I needed mulch and topsoil to complete some landscaping projects I had. The options for both the mulch and top soil were greater than I had anticipated. Once I made my selections on the type and amount of each, an attendant offered to help me load the bags into my car, and he actually had the whole load packed up by the time I was done with the cashier.
I asked about the quality of some drywall anchors that I was considering purchasing to hang a towel rack in my bathroom. One of the staff assured me that the anchors I was considering worked great as long as I was screwing them into only dry wall. He did not pressure me into buying anything I did not need, but he made sure my project was completed correctly.
Even for things such as making a copy of keys or refilling my propane tank for the grill, Annie's staff are there to make my trip as quick and painless as possible. I recommend this store to all my friends and neighbors for any home projects they are thinking about starting.

I bought some paint about two weeks ago and Tony was just amazing. He greeted me as if he knew me for a long time. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, warm and extremely helpful. Thank you Tony and keep up giving great service. Ace hardware you ACED this one👍

Nathan was so kind and professional and helpful! He not only directed me to the exact supplies I needed for my project but he took the time to patiently explain to me how everything worked (anchors and screws in drywall). After very careful measuring and drilling, I have hung my new mirror on the wall and it looks great! Thank you!

Friendly staff. Helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you are helped and satisfied with your shopping needs. Big enough to stock most everything but conveniently compact so you are not lost. Very good gardening supplies. Glad to know I can walk here from home and use my shopping cart. Competitively priced.

Love Annie's! The staff are not only helpful, they treat you like they're glad to see you. Pretty much every time I've been there I've found what I needed, and they're dog-friendly. Just a good, solid neighborhood place.

I visited in search of houseplants and was not disappointed. The prices were reasonable and there was a nice range of well kept indoor and outdoor plants as well as care supplies. I also enjoyed the variety of planters they had available. I absolutely recommend and will definitely return!

A wonderful neighborhood store with everything you need and everyONE you need to help you! Tony was kind, informative and went the extra mile for me to make sure all the products I was using for my garage waterproofing project were the right ones.
