Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort

A gem at the edge of town, perfect for quiet seclusion while also being very close to shopping, restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They are actually pet friendly (not just pet tolerating). Rooms with pet beds and bowls supplied, dog treats at the front office, and many available doggy stations throughout the property.

My family and I rented two rooms which were beautiful and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the towel warmers were delightful. My only issue is the room we stayed in (1409) didn't get very hot water so I went to my family's room for a hot shower instead.

Gorgeous views, beautiful property and totally affordable too. You could just come and stay here, never leave, and it would be a lovely and rejuvenating vacation.

Fantastic stay with family. We stayed in one of the king/twin bed cabins by the arts center and it was everything we had hoped for! Front desk staff were super friendly! Beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean!

Location was also beautiful with plenty of early December snow left over. Walkways were freshly cleared along with the parking lot. Parking was super convenient for the cabins.

Much of the rest of our time was spent in town, but being able to come back to a quiet sleep away from downtown was exactly what we wanted.

We will definitely be back next year and hope to stay a little longer next time and take advantage of all the resort amenities!

We had made our reservation months ago knowing Leavenworth sells out during Christmas. I wasn't sure what to expect as rates were so ridiculously high in town and Sleeping Lady seemed reasonable. What a wonderful surprise. The cabins are clean and cozy and fitted with all the warmth and amenities including heated towel rack. Lots of windows to see the snow covered grounds. It's quiet outside but you can hear the neighbors next door. Convenient parking. The restaurant onsite was okay. Just avoid the pizza. Front desk and restaurant staff has been very friendly. I would come back and stay here again over the hotels in town. Just a quick 5 minute drive to town.

The location itself is beautiful as it is right next to a mountain. We got an alcove room for two nights and we enjoyed our stay. Check in and out process was fast (under 10 minutes). They office itself was cozy and beautifully decorated. Our room was nice and smelled pleasant when we first walked in. There was no TV and only a mini fridge available, also the sink was located outside of the bathroom which was slightly inconvenient. Room itself was cozy and we really enjoy the cabin-style room. We went during weekdays so they were not busy, so we enjoyed a private stay. They had a cool playingroom with several games tables. The hot tub was small and open until 10PM. In my opinion, the resort is not accessible friendly. Also, it was super dark at night and we needed a flashlight to walk from the parking lot to our room. Overall, I would stay here again for the view and the cozy cabin-style room.

Great little spot to grab a bite to eat on the way up Icicle Canyon! The sliders were wonderful and the service was top-notch. Would definitely stop in again if we are in the neighborhood.

The experience was amazing. We stayed there for 3 days and had a very relaxing time.

We booked a cabin which lies at the back end of the resort with amazing views of the mountains. The room itself was not very clean and i don’t think the sheets were changed before we got the room. Tried to call the front desk but they were always busy. Apart from that overall stay was great.

There is a game room, pool and restaurant on site that we can walk to. Our kids enjoyed the walks on the trail as it was safe and not crowded. Best part is it’s pet friendly. Except for the restaurant we could take our Golden everywhere.

Once you arrive, everything is on site and don’t need a car unless to drive into town for different food.

Our stay at Sleepy Lady Mountain Resort was delightful. Check-in was quick, and the guest room was clean and well-maintained. The tranquil surroundings make it an ideal location for a relaxing getaway. We would definitely consider staying there again if we revisit Leavenworth. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The cabins are super cozy, huge property, great pool and hot tub. A true Pacific Northwest gem.

Only had a night here, but it left an impression! We booked the loft, and it was spacious with 2 double beds and a single. The view is very nice, especially from the comfort of the room. There's something magical about listening to the rain patter against the wooden roof. A heads up though, the stairs are quite steep, so tread carefully, especially in the dark. Bonus: spotted two adorable cats in the yard! The staff were welcoming and attentive. Will stay again.

This is my second year staying here for a group conference. Property is beautiful, rooms are great, and the staff are very helpful and kind.

Very secluded hotel near an extremely crowded tourist town- feels like a refuge. Centrally located dining hall and meeting /lecture rooms with small collections of cottage like rooms scattered through the woods on the property. Beaucolic and well done.

We got deep tissue massages as a couple at the day spa, and they were very professional, accommodating, and the massage was great. They provide a quality experience and atmosphere, in a cozy setting.

Every staff member from the front desk to the restaurants to the spa were fantastic! Room (one double/queen and a bunk) was cozy. Towel and robe warmers were a bonus!

Clean rooms, with the heavy snowfall sidewalks, and your front rooms entrances were clean ealry morning from snow. Location is amazing in the wilderness

This resort is amazing! I've stayed at the property twice and will be back soon. The resort is pretty large and you are in the woods which is relaxing and smells great. The rooms are quiet and there are no TVs which at first I was surprised but then really enjoyed.
The staff is soo nice and accommodating. The great part is that you can bring your dog and there are plenty of walking trails. The resort is about 8 or so minutes from downtown Leavenworth so you are pretty close to the action but you feel like you are far away. If you are looking to get away from the City and just need a quiet relaxing place, this is it!

I cannot recommend Sleeping Lady enough. It is a truly magical place that offers a unique and unforgettable experience. We recently had a wonderful stay at Sleeping Lady Resort, nestled in the mountains just a few miles from Leavenworth's downtown, seeking a relaxing retreat. The cabins were stunning, and the resort offered mesmerizing scenic hiking trails. The staff, particularly Tristan, the front desk agent, was remarkably attentive and incredibly helpful. Additionally, the amenities, such as the pool, spa, and hot tub, greatly enhanced our experience. Overall, it was a truly remarkable stay that contributed to our relaxation and enjoyment.

This place is gorgeous and extremely affordable despite its amenities and location. We stayed in the loft room which was super cozy.

What a great find! Sleeping Lady is nestled in the mountains just outside Leavenworth, adjacent to snowshoe and cross-country ski park. The cabin rooms were lovely and cosy, well-appointed, very Alpine, the staff are friendly, accommodating, courteous, fun, and prices were surprisingly affordable especially in the restaurants! They're pet friendly, be sure and let them know ahead of time that you're bringing your dog though, there were games to check out at the front desk, fresh cookies, coffee available all the time. We had a great time!

I wanted to enjoy nature, and resort made it possible. There is no television in the room, no clock, and no calendar. Leave everything behind and enjoy nature.
