Marysville Kids Dentistry

This was our 4th time to Marysville Kids Dentistry. First, when grandson had a few teeth extracted at 4.5 yrs old and this recent visit at 6 yrs old at the new clinic location. Dr Chin, her anesthesiologist and all staff are exceptional!!! I am a Retired RN and former Paramedic that was in medicine for over 35 yrs. I was very impressed how well the entire clinic works so well with children. They go above and beyond, making sure these little ones are comfortably cared for and very well monitored during all procedures. They answer every concern and question. No one is rushed. The clinic is very clean. Our little guy had three teeth extracted this time. Extra teeth, one which had grown in the roof of his mouth. He awakened after surgery smiling as depicted in his photos. They had popsicles right there waiting for him. He had no pain or problems post operatively, or after arriving home. Our family, and little patient Dezi Van Amburg thank you all so much for making what could have been an unpleasant experience turn out to be a pleasant one! Keep up the great work taking such exceptional care of the childrens dental experiences in the community. God will one day reward you all for the love and caring you all provide to children.

We were recommended this place to loosen our son’s tongue tie, and we could not be happier with our visit here! They were so thorough and explained everything in a very understandable and non-pushy way. The procedure itself was very quick, and they explained/showed how to do the stretches afterward. They also gave me some privacy to nurse him beforehand, which was really nice. Later that evening, they checked in on us via text to see how our son was doing and were super responsive when I reached out to them with a question the next day. We’ve now been going there for 2 years and get our kids teeth cleaned there on a regular basis. Dr. Amelia is wonderful with the kids. Always so attentive and playful. All the hygienists have been great as well. And they have TVs where they can choose anything to watch on Disney during their cleaning. Overall, great experience! Highly recommend!

My Child had a lip and buckle tie. They were able to remove it efficiently. Had a really good experience. Definitely recommend

Had a great first visit and consult at Marysville Kids Dentistry. Dr. Chim was wonderful and professional in explaining what my son's condition was and also discussed our best options as parents. She didn't make us feel like procedures had to be done then and there, but presented us with facts we could ponder and decide on. The staff are wonderful too. The nurse was knowledgeable, kind and accommodating to our requests. Will update review once we're done with our procedure!

Love the atmosphere and new location. My kiddos have no fear coming in and staff are great at making them comfortable! I have had 2 of my kids’ tongue ties lasered here as well and the whole process was very thorough. Would recommend for all dental and tongue tie services!

The whole staff is wonderful and are great with my kids. We see Dr. Amelia and she is so kind and patient. She is great at explaining things as she is doing them, not only making my kids feel comfortable but it’s also very helpful as parents. She has done regular cleanings and also a tongue tie release when my daughter was a newborn. I would recommend her to anyone!

We had such a good experience at Dr Chim's new office, her staff was very friendly and made the check-in process seamless. Dr Chim was so good with my baby and played with him while she did her examination. She was very thorough and I appreciated how she explained everything to us. I would highly recommend her as I know my baby is in the best care.

As first time parents we were nervous to try a new provider for the laser frenectomy procedure our newborn needed. I called several providers, Marysville Kids Dentistry was very professional and friendly on the phone, they were also able to see her in less than a week. Dr. Amelia Chim was very friendly and kind. All staff was gentle and caring. All our questions were answered. They went above and beyond by reaching out to see how she was doing at home after the procedure. Overall very pleased with our experience and as healthcare professionals ourselves we would recommend this dentistry for laser procedures!

Excellent facility, staff, and communication.

My little one was having her upper lip, tongue, and cheek ties released (fronotomy). As much as it breaks your heart watching your baby confused and cry; everyone made me feel like an actual person, not a patient.

I hate that I can't remember her name! But the blonde woman I first met who walked me through the procedure, answering all questions, calculated doseage, etc. was amazinggg with my daughter (and me!).
Dr. Amelia Chim was equally kind, informative, professional. great with my baby, and most importantly...great at what she does!!!
Just the entire staff...amazing. Even though they were pretttyy busy; from the moment you call, to the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, and all in between, you are met with a clean, welcoming, professional environment.

It was such a pleasant surprise receiving a follow up text. That opened a line of communication that any parent or person would LOVE to have with every medical professional.

I can't speak more highly of my experience with this team. Once my newborn starts getting her little teeth in, I will 100+% be bringing her back!

This is a wonderful dentist office with great staff. I have been taking my son here for the past few years now and am always satisfied. My son with autism is almost 11 and he is always treated in a patient and caring manner. Dr. Chim is pleasant and quick, and they have an extra assistant to come in and help. I am happy to have found them. Thank you for serving us!

Dr. Chim was recommended to me as a preferred provider for ties and I was seeking second opinions on my three children. She has been super knowledgeable and performed a tongue tie revision on my six year old whose previous providers had failed her. Everything went great and we are so glad we found her!

Had a wonderful experience here! We took our son to get a lip tie evaluated with Dr. Amelia, she was amazing! So knowledgeable and not once did I feel pressured to seek certain treatment. She gave us all of the facts and outlined all the pros and cons of surgery timing. The staff was so nice and overall it was an awesome experience, will definitely make Marysville Kid Dentistry our home once my baby’s teeth come in! I just can’t recommend them enough. :)

Everyone was so kind and encouraging and knowledgeable. I’m a first time mom with a baby who is having feeding problems. They were very thorough when checking her and they also were not fast to jump into surgery without her being properly ready. They encouraged me to take her for sucking therapy first. I really appreciate those who make sure health is well rounded rather than just jumping to the fastest solution that might not work the best. My little girl also liked everyone there and they treated her so gentle. Definitely would recommend them to others.

We came in for a consult for our infant child’s lip and tongue tie. Dr Amelia and her staff was absolutely amazing. We were provided full details on laser treatment, outweighing the pros and cons on releasing now or later in life. We were so happy with our experience. She even texted to check on our little one later on! I have now booked my other two kiddos for a checkup!

I'm updating my previous review. These staff deserve a 5-star review!! My 3 y/o daughter had her first dental surgery and the staff were great! From the time, we arrived they were so welcoming and informative. They knew we were nervous about this surgery. Front desk gave us updates on how surgery was going and they took the time to give us instructions and what to expect after surgery. After a few hours being home, I received a call from receptionist checking in how my daughter is doing, which is very much appreciated! Marysville Kids Dentistry and Dream team anesthesia staff provided us excellent care!! Highly recommend!!

I couldn't ask for a better facility for my son to be cared for at. The staff is efficient and so very kind. They understand the process thoroughly and made me and my child feel reassured and comfortable during the entire process even though, unfortunately, the little guy had to go under and get some work done. They are so great that he doesn't even remember the experience and has no problem going right back in for a follow-up visit. Thank you for taking such good care of Evan and being so fantastic with all the little ones that get scared of the dentist.

Best dental practice for children!!! I am a practicing dental hygienist, and I 100% trust them with my kiddos, now second time treating my son!!! I would recommend to ANY and ALL of my colleagues!!! First time was for my sons lip/tongue tie and they went above for care and after, making sure mom was good too! Came back 1 yr later for sons first teeth cleaning and again it was relaxing, fast, comforting and just easy! Thank you ♡

We brought our newborn in to have his tongue tie clipped. The staff was amazing at explaining exactly what the process was and what to expect. They took great care of him and we were able to be in the room while the procedure was done. What really wowed us was that the Dr texted us that night to check on our baby and see how he was doing. Really appreciate the follow up and that shows how much they care about their patients. We’ll likely be changing dentists and being our other kids here. Highly recommend.

Everyone was so nice and super helpful!
I have 2 month old twins that both needed a tounge & lip tie removal.
I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all & they especially Lilly was so helpful and we just felt very comfortable and relax. Dr. Amelia did a great job with both of my girls and even messaged us the same night to check in on how the girls are doing. That simple gesture truly made a difference. Not every Dr does that and we are very appreciative of that! Highly recommend!

For context, we reside about 40 mins away and we choose this place from the great reviews and referral and we do not regret it.
