I stopped by this Safeway to pick up a floral arrangement and balloon for a friend this afternoon.

I was very impressed with the woman working in the floral department because she went above and beyond helping me to find something that would be just right for my friend! Not only was she incredibly personable and friendly, but she also searched high, low, near, and far to help me find a balloon that would be just perfect…clearly, she nailed it!! This has to be the coolest balloon I’ve ever seen!

Loved this experience, and will definitely come back for future floral and balloon needs! :)

Staple in the neighborhood, staff are kind and store is always clean. Great having them so close, too! Fuel station does have diesel, too!

I used their floral department to get some flowers bundled up- they did a really good job!

Fast, Professional and Clean. They got eggs! Great Service and Now Accepts OTC United Healthcare Cards for Fresh Foods! The Safeway on State Street is simply the best for food and service. Love the Employees. ❤ Still the Best 2023 (One Long term Employee over 20 years always gives our son a hug. She loves him and we love her!) Also the points System that you get when you shop is sweet. We saved 80cents a Gallon the other day!

Has wonderful sales and coupons and a great pharmacy.

Store was busy busy busy! Speeding drivers in the parking lot! PLEASE EVERYONE! SLOW DOWN. Five mph please. I understand you're in a hurry, but you don't want to run anyone over.
It's raining and dusk and people think they need to speed. Homicide would look terrible on your record.
The store floor is shiny and everything well stocked!
Clean and staff was friendly.
Parking is fine, straight in parking with plenty of space to park a bigger vehicle. Plenty of space for a truck and trailer in the far areas as well.

If you come late in the evening closer to closing time the place may have 1 or 2 other shoppers there. Usually just the self checkout will be open, but there is an store employee nearby if you have any issues figuring it out. Their quick to come over when the call attendent button is pressed.

They have a very fast water refilling station unlike walmart. Get your water refills here.

Good produce, employees are very friendly and helpful and their choice of prepared vegetables they are always fresh and handy, everything you need for taco night in one container best thing I ever found in a store made taco night so easy only had to cook the meat everything else was already shredded chopped and ready to go into your taco

I shop here a couple times a week. The Store is always clean people are friendly and you have what I want. Today I had the pleasure of checking out with Joyce. She kindly and patiently helped an older lady in front of me and then thanked me for my patience. While checking out we chatted briefly and she was very friendly and kind and funny and she put a smile on my face. Joyce is the reason that I skip the self-check out. I could not get that kind of interaction there. Safeway should be proud of the fact that they've hired such a nice young lady.

Great Drive and Go experience
Everything listed in stock and exact order quantity. Salad kits are a favorite. Pickup service super fast since December 2021. Minimal cases where something ordered for pickup is not available - if you see it in the online list it likely is in stock and will be in your cart. Safeway gas station easy access entering or leaving parking.
This store has quick access off Grove Street as well as State Av. Easy access restrooms as you enter southwest corner of store.

My husband bought me flowers for our 32nd anniversary Friday. He has always got me flowers from Safeway and they are usually beautiful and last a couple weeks. By Sunday these were all dead. So I took them back Monday, with the receipt. As soon as I walked in the gal gave me "that look". I told her my dilemma and all she said to me, literally the whole time I was there, do you have a receipt.
She didn't say I'm sorry, happy anniversary, can I replace these (they were in a cute ceramic pitcher), she just rang up the refund and gave me my money back, and said nothing!! I wanted flowers, not a refund. I was in tears and wasn't going to spend a dime in her department.

I've been going here for nearly my entire life, for about 21 years now. And I have to say the service and loyalty is incredible. The only thing I could complain about is that they stopped greeting me with the name connected to my receipt. Not sure if policy changed, but it was a sweet personal addition for loyalty members.

Always my go to for last minute shopping, some stuff are a bit pricey but for quick grab or last minute shopping definitely worth it

Can only speak of noble palace chinese restaurant, the best hot and sour soup ever! Went fro. Vancouver Canada there just for the soup a d remarkably the staff remembered us after more than 2 years.
