It's much cleaner than it used to be. There are lots of birds in the area for sure. Watched some baby geese learning the ropes of adulthood this morning it was mighty adorable, to say the least... I'll post a video of them as well. Great day, everyone!

Well kept park with several trail options including pavement, dirt and gravel. Great to walk around and enjoy a view of the mountain. There is a body of water, several trails, and a dock. There is also a pavilion for rent and several picnic tables and beaches scattered throughout the park. I brought my dog for a walk and we both enjoyed exploring the park.

Awesome beach with great views of mount Helena! I recommend coming here in the spring when the water is still clean and fresh, since in the summer it can get crowded and the water turns kinda warm and the geese poop all over the grass. Excellent resource for local swimming and fishing. Good parking and facilities. Good location close to town. Recommended!!!

Fun place to go for the day. Nice swimming area , or kyake or paddleboard. You can rent one of those if you don't have one. I believe the price is 15 for an hour , 35 for 3hrs and 50 for the whole day. They have a few concession items also and a nice walking path.

Explored around the lake on the walking trails. Relaxing and fun. Not too crowded and I saw people enjoying fishing and paddle boarding as well.

I have enjoyed outdoor recreations at Spring Meadow Lake since I was a child and cherish having this lovely nature preserve so close to town!

Great city park that allows dogs in the Fall & Winter months.

Kids had a great day here swimming and kayaking. (Rental kayaks available if you need them)

Spring Meadow can be explored all year long - from walking the trails in the coldest of weather, to swimming in the Lake in the summer. It's a great way to enjoy the great outdoors!

This park has a nice walking path around the ponds. Very pretty here.

A nice stroll to enjoy at your leisure. Spots to kick off your shoes and wade in the water or you can even rent a boat or water device

LOVED THIS LAKE! The geese were great entertainment for my siblings and there was plenty of lakefront area to lay out and tan. There are options for kayaking and fishing as well as a rental place to obtain kayaks. Will say however if you’re not from Montana there is a $8 cover charge that is covered if you have a Montana License Plate.

I've enjoyed this place all my life. There's an excellent trail for walking or jogging. The fishing isn't what it used to be, due to increased pressure, but it's still a fun place to teach your children to fish.

Please be careful! In the winter, ice thickness is inconsistent in the large pond due to the seven natural springs feeding it. The beach drops off abruptly and people have drowned here both summer and winter.

I am a little frustrated though, by careless dog owners. Despite the free bags, there is a lot of dog waste near the trail. Park rules also require leashes at all times, but both days I went this weekend, unleashed dogs ran up on my leashed dog. Today the owner was nowhere in sight and the little red heeler was aggressive towards my mutt. But if they'd fought and my dog won, my dog could be labeled as vicious. The park doesn't allow dogs between April 15 and October 15 already, due to irresponsible owners ignoring the rules.
