The Holiday Motel

Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking to visit Yellowstone!!!! Was a nice stretch-of-the-legs walking distance to everything. Lisa was PHENOMENAL, my husband and I were so floored by how attention and personal recommendations she gave for visiting the park and around the town. Rooms were well stocked with everything we needed and more, everything was clean and the furnishings were perfect to accommodate making some sandwiches and looking over maps!

We were super impressed with this motel, and really enjoyed our stay. We had the pleasure of meeting Jeff at check in, and he was wonderfully personable and kind. This place is so close to Yellowstone and it's clean and a great price! If we're in the area again, we would 100% come back.

Price is great for what you get, practically a small apartment with all the amenities of home. Easy access to all the restaurants and Yellowstone. The lady at the front desk was very helpful with telling us the best spots to eat and drink in the area. We were on motorcycles and most of the parking spots were taken in front of our room, so she let us park in front of the office so they could help keep an eye on them overnight just for piece of mind. Most importantly VERY CLEAN. Linens all smelled like they had been freshly washed. Awesome place to stay.

Nice and clean place for resting in West Yellowstone. Great Value for money ! Check in and check out were smooth. Lisa and Jeff are fantastic hosts. Had some minor issues with regulating the water temperature in the morning but not a big deal.

This motel is exactly how it looks in photos. It is not very luxurious, and you may not even find luxurious stay in this area. It is still very nice and traditional for its price. We have a baby and the host made our stay extremely comfortable! Awesome people and very easy communication via text messages. They provided us everything we needed during our stay. Also, it is close to all the restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward for staying at the same place again in future.

Lisa was fantastic... very helpful , with lots of advice and tips about how to tour Yellowstone and dining options in town . Rooms are basic , but are clean and have everything you will need , including fridge with freezer and microwave .

Me and my husband stayed at this motel in west yellowstone for 4 nights. The owners Lisa and Jeff are the kindest people I have ever met. The room was clean and it looked like they actually take effort to keep it that way. I wasn’t expecting a motel room to look this clean. We had a kitchen too so we could cook our breakfast. When I mentioned to Lisa about camping for 3 nights in Teton she hurried back into her office and gave me a Citronella band to help me keep mosquitoes away. I was blown away by such kindness. Thank you for an awesome stay Lisa and Jeff. We will definitely come back again.

Great budget hotel in an otherwise expensive peak season tourist area. Clean room, friendly owners, good breakfast across the street and everything else in town/the Yellowstone gate was a 2 minute drive. Would stay here again if we go back to Yellowstone in the future.

My husband and I were visiting from out of state on vacation. Unfortunately, our truck went out. Our truck was towed to a nearby mechanic shop located next to The Holiday Motel. Lisa and Jeff went above and beyond to help us. They promptly got us a room. Which included, 2 queen beds, a tv, refrigerator and a microwave. Jeff even offered to drive us two and a half hours away to Bozeman to drop us off and get a car rental. My husband and I were blown away and truly astonished at their hospitality and kindness. They made us feel like family. We highly encourage everyone who may visit the area, to stay here.

This is a great budget motel! Even though it’s older, it has been renovated and the rooms were great. Bathrooms are clean and new looking. Jeff and Lisa are great hosts and give their personal cell number for anything you need while you’re there. Nice homey feel. Best place in town on a budget. Great beds, clean sheets. Slightly small tv for the size of the room, but that’s not why you are in West Yellowstone.

The hotel owners are nice people. I accidentally left my backpack behind when I checked out. They reached out immediately via text and phone, but unfortunately there was no signal in the park. Finally they mailed it to me timely and packed every electronics carefully.

Stayed here for four nights while visiting Yellowstone right after the busy season ended.

Rates were great for the area, and Jeff and Lisa are lovely. They have us a nice guide brochure for the park, and even checked us in face to face even though we arrived quite late.

The room was great. It looks like they are working on remodeling, and some rooms may still need the final touches, but they are nice accommodations.

They are also taking the pandemic seriously, which is a relief. Masks required in office, and they stay out of your room until checking out.

Would recommend, and will stay here again if we visit Yellowstone in the future.

Lisa checked us in & was a delight! The room was clean, bed & bedding were super comfy, & you can’t beat the prices for staying so close to the park. We end up needing to book this last minute after our Airbnb fell through & I'm so happy we did! Would definitely stay here again.

Unassuming motel that is well taken care of. Communication with owners is super easy via text. Easy access to restaurants, fuel, shopping and Yellowstone NP. Most importantly, the room was CLEAN, thank you!

Never been a fan of motels, but this place was just fine. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were just there to sleep and shower for a couple nights while we visited Yellowstone during the days, and it was great for that. The only thing I would request from them is darker curtains - they ask you keep the outside light on, and the curtain is too thin to block it shining through (personal preference). But otherwise, was a fully acceptable place to stay. They are in the process of upgrading rooms, so it could very likely be even better when you stay.

I stayed here for two nights and had s good experience. The staff were all very helpful, anytime I texted them I got a response back really quickly. The room was nice and clean. The bed was cozy, and there were plenty of pillows and sheets. Great location just outside the west Yellowstone entrance

The room was clean and very comfortable. Lisa and Jeff are great hosts, very responsive via texting. We were able to check-in early and she was very flexible and helpful when our travel plans changed. Would stay again!

I was worried when driving up to this place after paying the price I paid, but this place is super nice inside. I read they are trying to remodel outside but with the pandemic,, it has been hard.... It was WAY, WAY nicer than the Holiday Inn I had stayed at for the same price and it had a microwave, and fridge and coffee maker. The beds were extremely comfortable and CLEAN!!! We had bath and body works bathroom products. 🥰 The lady was extremely kind and inviting. I would definitely stay here again!!! Internet was great and tv worked great! I would give it way more stars if I could. Thank you for a great night in Yellowstone, worry free.

This was a great place to stay. Lisa was very welcoming. Our room was immaculate and Covid precautions were followed. Everything seemed newly updated and very nice. The motel is in a quiet location within walking distance to many restaurants. It was a great place to stay while visiting Yellowstone and the surrounding area.

LOVE Lisa !!!! The customer service provided is unmatched. I called very last minute about a room and luckily, she had vacancy. The room was immaculate, spacious, and the king size bed was amazing. Stayed there two nights and I was very pleased. The price was also very reasonable. Not price gauging. Support local.
