Absolutely delicious and friendly staff. You can smell it coming down the escalator. For 20 bucks a good sausage sandwich with fries and drink. For an airport price that is great

Giving 5 stars to this airport restaurant for their A+ customer service. I had a great experience here waiting for my next flight. I got my food quick, the turkey was not dry like it is at most BBQ places, and the best part was the seating that was tucked away from all the airport chaos. A couple of their staff came out to make sure everyone was happy with their food. I honestly didn't like their baked beans and they gladly offered me a different side at no charge.

The staff at the counter was very pleasant, especially Rafeek. The beef brisket was great! So much better than most airport food!!!

I try to review good restaurants in airports so I remember where to go next time lol. The pulled pork sandwich was so tender and flavorful. They put the sauce on for you, but it was enough. Quick and friendly service. If you’re hungry in terminal A, this is good!

Amazing atmosphere and service. The only thing I didn't care for was the beans were to bland for my taste . Everything else was awesome.

First time in Texas, Needed BBQ.
Nice guy at the counter said Brisket for sure so we went with the Chop Chop sandwich with Brisket and Sausage. Great smoke flavor, good BBQ sauce, awesome bread and speedy fast service. Now time for a nap on the plane.

It is an airport. You expect to pay airport prices
The server was very friendly and we received our food quickly.
I enjoyed my meal. It was not my favorite barbecue sauce. I've ever had, but it was still good.

Consistently delicious food—I always stop by during layovers. The BBQ sauce adds a tasty punch. Mariam's genuine care for customers truly shines here.

Best seating nook in the airport. Calm and quiet off the path. Perfect for enjoying this treat of an airport eatery. I got the sample platter to try their variety. 3 meats and 3 sides. All were very good. The service was quick for my in-between flight run. Kind staff and clean setup. There are some good ones here but by far this one is top shelf. Hands down know their BBQ!

What a relief to come down the escalator and smell delicious Texas BBQ after being abroad for 2 weeks.
I was bummed though because the staff were just closing the ropes off and shutting the door on a chance to sink my teeth in some delicious meat!

The man Tadros saved me. He said hey man,
You look hungry come on in, you can be last customer.
They were in the middle of mopping and cleaning but welcomed me in. Fantastic customer service, I really felt the love. Thanks for being so awesome!

Now the food is as always fantastic at Salt Lick. I had the ribs, potato salad and cole slaw. Wow, so good. Thanks being here and being awesome! Much appreciated!!!!

The very best place to eat in DFW. Excellent BBQ chain that has great food. Samir at the front is a very fun and exciting person to talk with. He'll always make sure that you hear about all things BBQ. Pickle spears, cookies, mac and cheese etc... So much fun talking him.

Not only that, the food is out of this world. I travel often for a living and it isn't very often that you find a place that has great food, competitive prices, speed and friendly staff. This has it all. Don't miss the salt lick and if you get a chance be sure to talk with Samir!

Mmmmmm! This place has the best bbq sauce! So flavorful, tangy, sweet, and not too thick, with all the right seasonings. And not only do they make the best sauce, they have smoked turkey. (most bbq places don't do turkey) super soft meat that goes perfect with their sauce. You can choose 3 yummy sides if you get a platter. I also use their sauce as a dressing for salads. Its just that good

I was about to eat at Dickey’s, but found out through the information hub that there is a Saltlick. The same ones from Driftwood, TX! Great brisket. Great food! Will stop every time I’m at DFW without hesitation.

Great gluten free options here, conveniently at DFW Airport. I ordered the Brisket Platter with coleslaw, beans and corn and spicy barbecue sauce 👌

The food doesn't look like much, but it is excellent. We ordered the sausage sandwich with beans. Also ordered one with potato salad. They gave us two with beans. When I said I had ordered potato salad, they gave me the beans for extra.

Fantastic BBQ!
The brisket is so moist and flavorful. Pulled pork and smoked sausage were both pretty dang good as well. Don’t much care for their cole slaw as it was dressed with some sort of sesame seed dressing. Regardless of the food, Catrina was super friendly, helpful, and all around a delight… She is something airports need more of since travelers are often pretty stressed from the long day of dealing with airline personnel and policies.

Great place to satisfy a craving for Texas BBQ on a layover when you’re coming back from somewhere international. Gemy was working and did a great job answering questions. He came out to check on our food and that we had everything. The Hazy Little Thing IPA was very welcome after a week of Corona and Modelo in Mexico.

Woah. This doesn't taste like any airport food that I've ever had. THIS TASTES LIKE TEXAS BBQ! No, really. The ordering experience was perfect and the food was ready way faster than I expected.
