East Side Grocery

Family-run business that is really a wonderful surprise on our travels. A large group of us—3 adults and 4 kids—popped in before setting out for a hike. We ordered lunch…and it was served fast and delicious! The store sells a good assortment of the essentials you need, but the bacon cheeseburger they made for me is reason enough to go back. The proprietor and his family were all very nice and professional.

A wonderfully family businesses! For the only small grocery in town, they have a good selection and fair pricing. The next closest grocery is 10 miles away so if you add the fuel cost to go there, you'll save money and time here if you are local.

Great selection of necessities, deli, and dairy products at great prices. The burgers are delicious and always made fresh to order. The owners are kind and thoughtful, Eastside is just the best lil’ place.

Every time that I go in to get something that I know they have, I am not disappointed. Sometimes I go on and ask if they have something I will normally buy elsewhere like plumbing, electrical, or art supplies. I am surprised about half the time when I ask with a yes. That means I save gas, time and where and tear on my truck. Good around meals also with specials on breakfast, lunch for around five bucks and dinner around seven.

This is the only location other than the gas station that Ladonia has, but it's amazing. The family who owns it is friendly, thoughtful, and keeps it clean. And the food is always really good, no matter what your order. If you come in more than a few times, they are always going to remember your face and what you like to eat.

The Burger grill here is in point ! Good selection of products for around the house too, the have a small refrigerator full of meats that they slice by the pound for you as well a deli fridge with eggs, bacon, caned biscuits ect all the stuff for fresh breakfast foods.

We consider Eastside Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers to be the best tasting burgers in Texas! They use only fresh meat and veggies and are careful to make it the exact way you want it.

This is a great place for the Ladonia area. They have HOT FOOD. All I tried was great. This store has an ATM. PLUS (little secret) they have a pair of red handled scissors here that are MUST-HAVE for your home or office. Scissors are like a $1.98 or something. They're excellent. Used at home on MULTIPLE ITEMS. These shears cut thru WIRE. Lol. Go in. Browse. Lotta hidden treasures in this store.

Great small town store, order from them often and its always correct. Highly recommend the chicken tacos.

Best shop in town. There is not a lot of competition, but this place still has good upkeep and decent selection for small town Ladonia.
