I have bought several pairs of Laiik sandals and one pair of derby shoes, and I absolutely love them! It is so rare to find sandals that are stylish yet comfortable, but Laiik manages to do it perfectly. I get compliments on their shoes all the time when I wear them (which is a lot). The leather is soft and wears well over time. Plus, I love that I am supporting Greek and local businesses and a company that is Eco-conscious. I recommend Laiik shoes and sandals to all my friends!

I've been shopping at Laiik for what will soon be five years, and although I havent' worn the sandals myself, I've given them as gifts and introduced the line to family and friends. Their reviews have all been glowing - extremely comfortable and stylish leather sandals that you can dress up or down depending on the occasion. Based on what I've seen from the new shoe and sneaker collection, the brand's brought the style, versatility, and comfort to its newer footwear too. I love these Greek, leather sandals so much I’ve gifted them to all my friends. Having Laiik send them was always fast and easy. I’ve bought 5 or 6 different styles over the last few years and they all fit so comfortably! I love the natural leather and the colors are always really current. I love buying from family businesses and supporting traditional artisans, but I buy these sandals abd shoes for the style!

I own several styles of Laiik greek leather sandals. They are the holy grail of sandals - comfortable, stylish, and unique. I get compliments every time I wear them. I also got married on the beach wearing the gold Sofia, perfection. I live in hot hot Florida, so I wear them year round and easily transition from running daily errands to a fancy night out.

Laiik's handmade sandals are my absolute favorite. I own at least 5 pairs and they are extremely comfortable and impeccably made! Also very fashionable. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality shoe that will last many seasons. Love Love Love Laiik!

I love my Laiik sandals. I have three pairs. The colors are stunning and the leather is very soft and for that reason they are very comfortable. Laiik’s boutique in DuPont Circle is a beautiful shop and I enjoy buying them in person. The staff is wonderful. If you like stylish, comfortable sandals that also make a statement, look no further.

Greek sandals have been around for a very long time, about 5,000 years more or less since Hermes used them to run messages. Laiik has just made the greatest improvement to Greek sandals (and Greek shoes) since Helen provoked the Trojan War. Not myself a personal expert, but friends who have worn them tell me the leather sandals are unmatched for beauty, quality of the leather and style. As for comfort, Laiik are the easiest to wear whether showing off on the dance floor or running a marathon. Laiik sneakers also set new high standards. And, not least, Laiik’s natural materials will contribute to world-wide sustainability for the next 5,000 years of Greek sandals.

An absolute gem of a store. I’ve bought two pairs of shoes from Laiik, both of which were comfortable and walkable from day 1 — no painful or awkward “break-in” period. For reference, I bought my shoes a year ago, and I’ve gotten so many compliments on them that I felt obliged to write and share my gratitude and appreciation! Plus, the shopping experience was actually enjoyable. Nick, the owner, is knowledgeable, personable and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable with your purchase.

BEST leather sandals and shoes this side of the Atlantic, hands down. I have multiple pairs of sandals and the Artemis sneakers. All of them are super soft and comfortable right away, extremely high quality, and timeless/classic - they all go with basically everything / get lots of compliments. The only downside is that you'll end up wanting one of everything. Also, you will not find nicer people and small business owners. They really care and they're doing it right. Go support them.

I own three pairs of Laiik sandals and I am completely in love with each of them! They are comfortable, flexible and magnificently crafted. The leather ages beautifully and speaking of age, I am a woman of a certain age and I could (and do) walk in my Laiiks all day. Treat yourself to a pair or two... you'll be glad you did!

I have been a supporter of Laiik sandals since they opened. The leather sandals are a true combination of style and comfort. These shoes are basically all I wear in hot DC summers. I am so glad they are expanding their collection and collaborating with other small brands. Definitely a store to check out if you are looking for unique products.

Accidently found the store while wondering through Dupont Circle. Ended up walking out with two lovely pairs of shoes (Ani in Berry and Sophia in Antico). They replaced a beloved pair of sandals bought on the Mediterranean 15 years ago. I echo everything everyone else has said--They are so so comfortable (the leather turns into butter after one wear) and so so so many compliments. If in the DC area in encourage you to check out their lovely store--Cool shoes & bags, AMAZING SERVICE, and fun Greek art (don't forget the coffee!). While they they had a constant stream of regulars bringing in new folks and folks like us who just got lucky and found them. Check them out--cant say enough!

Handmade shoes and sandals from Greece. Two family run factories in Greece manufacture the shoes. All leather is from Italy. Leather uses the eco-friendly tanning process aka “vegetal" tanning; natural dyes only following protocols that have a reduced environmental impact to protect workers and consumers.
