Houston Natural Mattress

I’ve been putting off buying a new mattress for years - my old cheap Queen size just isn’t cutting it anymore. Steve and Dustin helped me find a new mattress in less than 15 minutes! I’m a side sleeper with two cats. I purchased a Queen Size Natural Mattress, the Waterloo, made from organic cotton and wool with recycled steel coils and natural tree rubber. I am all about responsibility especially when it comes to home furnishings - there’s so much waste that goes into mattress production - I was happy to purchase from a company that is not only Texas owned but also whose values align with my own.
The store is clean and fresh - and smells great, not like plastic - like other big box mattress stores.

Shopped there for the first time for their Memorial Day sale and enjoyed the experience. We worked with Dustin and his fellow colleague, and both were super knowledgeable and friendly. They have been with the company for a long time and shared alot of information. We haven't received our mattress yet but the service was great! Will shop there again.

Stopped in yesterday for a new mattress. I expected that it might be significantly more expensive to buy an organic/natural mattress, but I walked into the Mattress Firm down the road before coming here and the prices were actually about the same.

Dustin was great to work with. He pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for and was personable and friendly. He also assured me that if my mattress was too soft that he would flip it for a firmer version. I appreciate this level of flexibility given that I will have this for years.

Wanted a natural/organic mattress for one of our guest rooms (testing out in case we want one for ourselves down the line), and there were a lot of options. Found the exact firmness that I prefer in a mattress, which is a cushion firm. Bought the store brand mattress at a reasonable price. Good experience with Dustin, the store manager. He is very knowledgeable.

I definitely recommend purchasing any mattresses, pillows, mattress covers, etc. that you need from Houston Natural Mattress! Years ago I first saw an ad about natural, organic mattresses, and I was so confused as to how a mattress could be organic and why it mattered. Then ten years later when we had a baby, I started looking into the materials of things and the impact they can have on your body/health/wellness. We went to Houston Natural Mattress and bought a crib mattress, then about 18 months later we bought a queen mattress for us and a twin mattress for our toddler as our family is growing (plus a mattress protector after he peed on said mattress 🙃). We spend a third of our lives on our mattresses, so it's worth investing in something that is not only comfortable but that is not toxic to your health! The staff at Houston Natural Mattress is so helpful and friendly. They just want to help you find what meets your needs best. We went in three times, and no one was ever pushy or looking to sell us the more expensive item. I was about to buy pillows online, but when you are making an investment (e.g., $100+ for a pillow), it's nice to be able to feel it in person. We found just what we wanted at Houston Natural Mattress. I'm so happy this store exists in Houston! Take advantage of it!

I arrived after work, and he patiently answered my many questions about materials and made thoughtful recommendations based on my sleep position.
