Emler Swim School of San Antonio - Schertz

We used to go to Aquatots and had a bad experience with a swim coach there. We now have two kids enrolled at Emler and have loved it. The coaches are all great so if you have a substitute one week you still feel good about the lesson. They also evaluate your child’s skills and progress at least monthly and give feedback at every lesson. We have seen great progress in our kids swimming since enrolling here!

We have been here for over 4 years. All of the teachers are great and really focus on our teaching our kids. We originally started swim lessons to ensure our children knew how to be safe in the pool. My 4.5 year old started with Bathtime babies and Waterbabies, excelled through Aquatots, and now he’s learning real swim strokes with kids twice his size and age. We love that our kids are comfortable in the water and our minds are at ease when it comes to pool safety. Thank you to all the Emler teachers!

We are a family that has 5 children enrolled at Emler and we love the staff here. Quite a few of the instructors left in August because they were college students but that did not affect our swim schedule or quality that went into the care of our kiddos. The staff is always informative and professional. Our kids love it here and have come so far in just a few short months.

We visited another swim school in San Antonio and felt much more comfortable with Emler. Their lessons are clear, well thought out and our instructor is very kind and great with kids. We are very happy with our choice to put our son here!

My son has been going to Emler in Shertz a few months now. The staff is amazing & very patient. My sons swimming skills as well as his confidence has definitely lifted. You really couldn’t ask for a better group of people to work with your kids on a regular basis.

My daughter has been coming here since she was 6 months old and really enjoys going every week. Her confidence, swimming, and overall comfortability in the water has improved over her time here. The teachers are great, always accommodating, and give feed back after every session! I always recommend this place to any parents I know that ask about swim lessons.

This is an excellent swim school! My daughter was scared of the pool and we brought her to Emler Swim School to help build her confidence and get over her fears of swimming. Within 2 weeks she was excited to swim and now she has been taking classes here for about 6 months and I think she is a faster swimmer than me! I highly recommend this swim school for kids especially if they need to overcome fears associated with the water.

My three year old just started here. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The manager walked us through the whole process of getting him started and how each lesson would go. My son was a little unsure about being in the water but his teacher was patient and made him feel comfortable. I look forward to seeing him progress each week.

We enrolled our son in the water babies class as an infant, and now he's in the advanced beginners as a 4-year old. The instructors are great and we really appreciate how the classes always start/end on time. Brianna is so sweet with our son and he looks forward to his swim class every week!

Elmer is a great swim school. The coaches are patient and all of the staff are extremely friendly. Our son is always super excited when Saturday rolls around because he can’t wait to get in the pool and learn. Pricing is amazing and the facility is always nice and clean.

Our infant (now toddler) gets so excited every time we walk through the doors at Emler Schertz. Shae has been such a warm, welcoming and thoughtful instructor. We’ve noticed how much more comfortable she is in the water, she knows the flow of class and what to expect next, she loves the songs, all of the toys/props— it’s a great time all around.

We have been going to Emler swim for years now. Both of our kids are thriving swimmers. The coaches are very supportive and make it fun to keep they going (especially when the younger ones are having a rough time).

We’ve had both of our kids enrolled in Elmer since last spring. My daughter has had multiple teachers because she’s advanced quickly. Each of the teachers have been excellent and so helpful! I recommend Elmer to all of my friends! Thank you for giving my kids the confidence to swim independently!

Our 5 year old has been attending Elmer's swim school for six months and has not only grown in her abilities but also her confidence! All of their staff is friendly and knowledgeable! I would recommend them to anyone.

We have been coming to Emler since 2021. My child has learned so much & continues to learn new skills. The staff here is great and we love the staff and the teachers. You can tell they care about the kids & helping them be successful.

We absolutely love this school! Every week our instructor Kaylyn does an amazing job building foundational skills while also challenging our son Hamin (16 months old) with skills she knows he can handle. She is extremely observant and I love the way she interacts with our little one. I know he’s in safe hands!

The facility is always clean and organized. I can clearly tell that the staff has a system that works because no one seems confused and communication is always present.

My granddaughter has been at Emler for about 5 weeks now and her/our experience has been remarkable!! She loves going to Emler Swim School every week and feels very confident each time she attends. Coach/Mgr Sonny is extremely welcoming each time we arrive and so engaged in his student swimmers. He communicates very well with all the parents on upcoming safety swim classes. Always ready and available to assist with any/all questions. Coach Ian has been very pleasant in teaching swim skills and is very professional and keeps our granddaughter thrilled and eager to learn. Coach Ian also gives good feedback on the progress of the skills being taught. As a 1st time and newly enrolled swimmer, we highly recommend Emler Swim School to families who want to entrust them for swim safety.

My 5yo used to hate the water. We enrolled him in Emler to get him more comfortable and confident. Ms. Shae was so wonderful and patient with him. He has since graduated to a higher level class and Mr. Ian is just as amazing. We are so happy.

Our family was looking for a swim school over the summer for our 8 year old to finally learn how to swim. We chose Emler due to the location, fair pricing and positive reviews. I can truly say that we have had a wonderful experience with Emler. The facilities are well kept and overall clean and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful with any questions that you may have. We have been taking most of our classes with Ian and he has been a great instructor. He has consistently been very patient, kind and most importantly, effective in teaching our son to swim in a safe environment. After only a few weeks our son was swimming and quickly advanced through the beginner stages. We are very happy with our experience so far with Emler and will continue coming back for our weekly classes. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe, welcoming and positive swim environment for their family!
