Found this gem via Google reviews, and the reviews were right. Delicious Italian, authentic recipes with what appears to be a couple of generations of family working there. Great service, with kind people. The food was so good. I had a decent sized portion that was brought to me and I was thinking there is no way I can eat all of this. I did...my wife did the same...do your taste buds a favor and check them out

Really enjoyed Prima.
We were in town for a gymnastics meet and we always look for good spaghetti and meatballs for my son. Prima didn't disappoint. Friendly staff with great recommendations.
Excellent wine that went well with dinner.
We really enjoyed the live music.

What a cozy restaurant! So happy we chose this place based on the wonderful reviews! A really great dining atmosphere, great staff, beautiful interior dining area, nice patio area, and the food is so delicious!!! Our server, Marissa, was terrific!! She took her time to point out certain dishes to make the ordering decision easier! Thanks for that! 😉 Marissa was patient and gave us time to make the right decision on our order! The food was exactly as she said it would be, so delicious and tasty! After our main dish was completed, here she comes with the dessert tray! 😜 Oh my, what delicious desserts they offer!
All i can say is you cannot go wrong with choosing this restaurant for a quick bite, watch a game at the bar area, or a date night! If you try this off my review and like what I ssid, hit the like button!! We will be back! Came into town from Sealy, and so happy we did!! 👍💯😁
Almost forgot the live music! It was nice touch while dining! And wasn't loud that we couldn't engage in decent conversation at our table, it seems everything was picture perfect! 👏👏

I love Italian and pasta so I alway look for an authentic place and this one is it! The staff were great and Basil was awesome! The food was light and not heavy. Will try again and recommend to others! Give it a go for yourself.

Extra-ordinary pasta dishes in Houston Italian landscape. Tasty, great servings, creamy, great flavor and spiced right. Will definitely put this restaurant into rotation. Can't wait to try more items, and it is romantic inside the restaurant, could be a special date night place.

This is one of my top favorite restaurant! The food was amazing. The chicken Alfredo was delicious, it was very creamy and the chicken was so flavorful. The dine in service was great, our servere was Marissa and she was very friendly, kind, and helpful. They also appear to have a garden filled with grapes and and tomatoes. They also have other fruit and vegetables. If you meet the owner he will give you a tour around the garden and even hand you vegetables. But overall I really do recommend this restaurant.

The experience I had at Prima Pasta Italia was absolutely top notch in every single way. I was traveling solo and chose to sit at the bar. I was served an excellent red wine, and enjoyed the Prima Pasta with grilled chicken. I also had garlic bread and had a to go dessert of their tiramisu. The food was absolutely delicious, and very reasonably priced! The staff was also amazing too. Navid and AJ took great care of me during my visit! They not only made sure I had all my needs attended to, but also talked to me and got to me know me while they were working. They went the extra mile to provide extraordinary customer service! I was also serenaded by great live music at the same time.

Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! It will forever be my first stop for dinner in Houston!

The food was amazing!! My hubby had the New York strip and I had the La Bravura pasta. The steak melts in your mouth and the sauce on my pasta was so delicious! Highly recommend the fried Calamari as well. Food was amazing and service was phenomenal. Marissa was exceptional! So nice and attentive. We’ll definitely be back for another date night!!

We had an amazing dinner. We came and celebrated my daughter’s 15th birthday. Our waitress Marissa was super nice and attentive. We loved the quiet atmosphere. Like a piece of Italy.

Was our first time with family. They accommodated us for being a party of 10. The service was amazing! Food was delicious and 🤌🏻! We were beyond pleased! We will for sure be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love this place. I went for the first time last week. Upon being seated, we received garlic butter bread. We ordered the Calamari for appetizer and the Prima Pasta for dinner. We had the chocolate mousse dessert. Everything was delicious. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. We will definitely be coming back to this place!

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant a year ago when we were in the area and wanted something that was quaint, full of character, and had great food. We’ve been back every time we were in the area whether it was lunch or dinner. Tonight, we had an added bonus with Marissa as our server. She recommended the best meal with excellent wine selection. She was the perfect server and we will request her again.
Parking is tricky, but well worth the visit.

We really liked this place! Came for lunch before a game. Got the shrimp scampi, SO delicious! Garlic, buttery and so yummy! My mom got the chicken piccata and loved it. Everyone in our party liked their dish and thought the quality was great for the price. Would absolutely recommend if you are in Houston

One of the best meals I have had in a very long time. I worked in authentic family owned Italian restaurants in Chicago for 4 years.I know Italian food, and this is some of the best italian food I have ever had. The service was excellent as well. A very enjoyable experience!

Whenever I go to Houston I stop by here for lunch. It has always been a good experience. The garlic bread is SO GOOD!! This time I went I got the Baked Ziti and my friend got the Spaghetti with Meatballs. Both came out hot and delicious. The portion size is very generous which I am not mad at. Next time I am in town, I'll come back again!!
