Stephen "the wine guy" was super helpful! We learned a lot from him in a couple of minutes, very knowledgeable and kind. He helped us find our new go-to wine! Perfect way to redeem a bad day.

Every time I've been in this location, (at least!) one of the employees has asked me if I needed any help. I'm usually greeted when I walk in and the cashiers are always really friendly- not over the top or pushy about it at all though, just chill and welcoming and that's perfect for me. I'm new to the area but so far I feel really comfortable going in here :)

Conveniently located on Holcombe Blvd near Medical Center. Take a look at the small quaint neighborhood liquor store. This Spec's Liquor location is small but we'll stocked and has a great staff. Check out the great selections of different liquors and remember to stock up! They carry the Branson Cognac VSOP Grande Champagne from 50 Cent so if you missed his store appearances you can still buy a bottle for all Cognac lovers and Collectors 🥃🍾🎄🎅

Went here on a last minute run before a gathering. I was assisted by the very knowledgeable and very patient, polite, and professional Steven ( or Stephen). I was looking for a particular wine but it was not stocked. Not only did he check to see what other Spec's I might find it, he also gave alternatives and ultimately I was able to make a selection in which to explore and it turned out EXCELLENT.
Bravo, bravo, bravo Steven (or Stephen). Much appreciated.

Great help with finding what needed. Upon entering I was greeted fairly well. I'm certain that some of the workers wanted to get the fork out of there. Anycrazy, thanks to the dude who got me to buy the hella large and in charge Willett!

Best liquor store in Houston, by far. There is a wine cooling machine that cools your bottle in less than 5 minutes!

This was a fantastic experience. Being from out of town, I kept looking for a good store to buy some alcohol. After finding Specs on Google, we decided to check it out. I'm glad we did. They had a great selection of liquor and beer. The service was also great. We spoke with a few different employed who were very happy to help us out.

I know where I'm going during my next visit to Houston.

The shelf was empty for what we needed, asked a guy that seemed knowledgeable, he located some that was not put out on the shelves yet. Made us so very happy! He also knew where's everything else we needed was as well as recommended alternatives. The most helpful Spec's I've been to!!!!

Great selection of beers, liquor, and wine. You'd be hard pressed to not find something you're looking for here. Staff are very friendly, and the prices are the same as at online stores.

Spec's usually has a great selection but noticed of late lots of open places on the shelves. Friendly staff and a discount if paying with cash or debit card.
