I have heard and read only good reviews about this place before visiting here. And when I visited, I just got what I expected - delicious and affordable food. They completely satisfied my Asian taste buds and the environment was vibrant as well on a general weekday evening. I would give 5 rating to all of their aspects starting from location, food, hospitality to, the ambience.

We order the following:
Fried Calamari (*1) - $9
Fried Crab Cream Cheese Roll (*1) - $8
Wonton in Chilly Sauce (*1) - $10
Dumpling Sampler (*1) - $14
Spicy Chicken (*1) - $19
Vegetable Lo Mein (*1) - $14

Special mention to the Dumpling sampler, they were colorful, soft and delicious. On a plate you will get 6 pieces, 2 pieces each of vegetable, chicken and pork dumpling marked in different colors.

First time here. Decided to try because they had hand pulled noodles and was not too far from Arlington where we needed to go later.

Glad we went to this Chinese restaurant. Just ordered the Mongolian beef and hand pulled noodles with chicken. The Mongolian beef was tender and flavorful. Just a the right amount of sauce and not too salty. The hand pulled noodles were the gem though. Perfectly cooked and chewy with the right amount of flavor. The chicken was white meat and texture was delicious. Apparently there was a sign at the door that read they had Peking duck daily until they are out, which I will have to try next time. I wished this place was closer to where I live in Plano/Frisco, but definitely worth another trip to Southlake.

Always a good time at Dragon House. The flavors are so fresh, and authentic. The atmosphere can be quite fun. On our last visit, the noodle man was throwing balls of dough for the guests to catch. Our server rushed us quite a bit but all is well! She probably wasn’t having a great day. We'll always try to make it back. It’s usually worth the drive. And if you beat the dinner crowd, you’ll more than likely be seated right away.

Phenomenal restaurant! Very good dishes. My family and I love this restaurant. Been coming here since August 2023. Brought my wife for Mother’s Day. Our service with Matty was the best we ever encountered here at this location. First time trying the meat noodle soup OMG 🤤🔥 soooo good. My kids love it here as well. My daughter birthday coming up and already request to come here. Hope we get Maddy as our waiter again. IF YOU LOOKING FOR CHINESE FOOD AND YOUR IN THE DFW AREA. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!! HANDS DOWN!!!!

Oh my goodness gracious, golly gee and holy cow!!!! This restaurant is absolutely amazing in every way!!!!!! We had nine people in our group on a beautiful Easter Sunday and we were treated like royalty. I'm not sure why, but I imagine that they treat everyone that way. Our server, Moon ( I hope that's correct) was probably the most attentive server we've ever had. Everything was perfect and she even offered to take a photo of us without anyone asking. Thank you so much to the entire staff!!!

I've been searching for a legit traditional Chinese restaurant for a few years since moving to DFW. Dragon House did not disappoint. We were immediately seated at dinnertime and ordered Jasmine tea and calamari to start. There was a reasonable wait for the appetizer as it was quite busy, but it was worth it. The calamari was crunchy and savory. We then ordered the half Peking Duck to share between two people. It was not only gorgeous, but the flavor combination was savory and so well balanced. There was so much food that we ended up taking it to go. I would definitely recommend this place!

This place really feels authentic. Just from walking in, we were greeted warmly and were quickly shown to out table. Our waitress immediately came over and took our drink orders (the service was quick despite the restaurant being packed). We ordered a dumpling sampler, fried calamari, spicy beef noodles and the scallion pancakes. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. Although some of the food wasn’t our taste, we still enjoyed the experience very much.

Everything we got was delicious. We got the scallion pancake , dumplings sampler and chicken and shrimp cashew plate. I enjoyed everything and even what my friends got was all delicious. Seating inside was full so we had to sit outside. Interior was pretty nice and everyone was friendly. Plenty of parking

We ate "family style" and every dish was fresh and fantastic. Best orange chicken I've had, but the noodles were the star of the show. You can see them being made fresh by hand, and it really is the difference. I did not catch his name, but a hispanic gentleman really made us feel like family. He was on point with his service and a genuine, friendly individual.

Very nice restaurant. There was a line outside when it opened up at 4 o'clock. Lots of people eat there. The restaurant was packed and had a wait list after the 4pm rush was seated . I assume because the food is on point. Everything is made to order, and it comes out as the dish is cooked, so it tastes very fresh. The food is seasoned to perfection with flavor, not disgusting sugary sauce! The noodles and dumplings were fabulous. The dishes are shareable with huge pieces of meat or seafood. The chicken and the shrimp dishes were so tender. All the combinations were delicious! The only drawback is don't expect to have a quiet date there, it's very noisy.

I saw an Instagram post about Dragon House and immediately decided I needed to go try the hand pulled noodles. I can honestly say I had the best dining experience I’ve had in quite a while. Christopher helped me while I sat at the bar for lunch. He was so kind in welcoming me to the restaurant, providing some suggestions on menu items and engaging in interesting conversation! Watching the fellas make dumplings and hand pulled noodles was also such a joy! The gentleman making the hand pulled noodles was so fun to watch and he surprised me with a corn made from the noodle dough! I don’t live close but I’ll be returning many times - I guarantee it!

This is our first time to visit this restaurant. Best place to try Chinese cuisine. The restaurant had a pretty good and bright ambience. Steamed juicy dumplings are a MUST TRY dish.

My family and I came here for the freshly made noodles and ended up ordering so much more. DELICIOUS food and fast friendly service. Authentic tasty food from appetizer, entrees, soup, desserts, etc.
I think I am going to make this my once a week treat restaurant.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
Its an AMAZING restaurant and I can tell that it has won the great approval of the many Asians that were there throughout the entire time we were there.
I definitely plan on bringing my friends and family here. I can't wait to return again and again.

I was there with some friends to celebrate a birthday and we had a great time. The food was great. It was nice to have multiple options and all different from what we usually find at regular Chinese restaurants. I really wanted to try the duck but went for something else at the end, no regrets though.
The place is small for the amount of people they have, at least on weekends, but as I understand this is a busy place. We didn’t have a reservation because they don’t take reservations but we only waited for like 15 min and again, it was busy on a Saturday night.
I totally recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back and try the duck and other meals that by just looking at them I can tell are great.

Always have a good experience and everything on the menu is so amazingly good! I also love the coconut and chocolate dumplings for desert!! Recently took our mothers here for the big day and they were so spoiled especially with the large selection of wine. They made it a fun time by throwing the dough to the kids and my mom who really want it… The price is very reasonable. Thank you to the fun staff for having fun with their customers regardless in having a packed house. Y'all handled today like true professionals with such grace and yet found time for fun. The food did not lose its luster at all. Never seen our moms so happy! Typically we take them to a high end Brazilian Steakhouse, but they wanted a relaxed atmosphere with more variety of flavors and this hit the spot. Now our whole family will be hooked!

1) variety selection of dim sum (chicken was our fav & the broth!),
1) juicy dim sum (broth is amazing!)

Main Entrees (table shared):
1) orange chicken,
1) orange beef,
1) special house noodles w/veggies & beef
*Fried rice upgrade (so good without a lot of oils , compliments flavors of the food)

Desert: 1) half chocolate & coconut dim sum

X4 fountain drinks and my mom got a glass of wine to start
Total: $120

If you are a lover of dim sum, then Dragon House is a must try! They are making the dumplings by hand, along with the hand pulled noodles for the soups! The soup dumplings were savory, and the chicken dumplings perfect. My favorite is the pan fried pork buns, so good!

My sweet and sour chicken tasted great all around, but I will add I didn’t care for the lunch appetizer dishes they bring out: the edamame was cold and the egg drop soup/egg roll was just okay. I would probably skip the lunch menu with the appetizer and get the main dishes.

The best lo mein in the area, fresh noodles, and the juicy dumplings were good too.
A little expensive, and long wait time tho
Don’t recommend the kung pao. The chicken was chopped very small and it had a lot of penuts but the flavor was good, just wish it had bigger pieces of chicken.

Great experience. We had the spicy wonton appetizer, dim sum sampler, pan fried pork buns, whole Peking Duck, pancake with sweet bean paste, and the mochi ice cream. Everything we had was absolutely phenomenal. We are definitely going back. The Peking duck can be hit or miss, and at Dragon house it was a hit. If you get the spicy wantons keep the plate, and use the sauce to dip whatever else you order in it.
