Howard Johnson by Wyndham Houston Heights/Downtown

This is a very small hotel, but it is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. I was nervous at first staying at a hotel so close to the downtown Houston area, but when I got here, I felt extremely safe and the location is so convenient to all of the businesses that I was visiting during this trip. I will stay here again.

My husband+ I had car trouble and had to stay night here. First time at a HJ and great experience. Pleasantly surprised! Clean, great channel selection and microwave+fridge. Would stay again.

Very good for a clean overnight stop. Parking available and well lit. Bed comfortable. Decor surprisingly nice. Quiet though close to freeway. Only issue was that blackout blinds did not close fully.

Got to say. Hotel is old, the only place around if your going to spend night in the Heights drinking. Thank you Uber drivers.
That said, the Hotel is very very clean it’s rooms are also spotless comes with microwave & fridge & hairdryer. There’s a old coffee style maker but the office has coffee , orange & Apple juice 24/7.
The staff are very friendly. It’s also priced great. This is our 2nd stay. Our last time here was 2ys ago hotel looks like it was never stayed in. Perfect paint & rooms. Very well kept. FYI downtown Heights is about a 10 minutes drive.

Stayed here last month. Hotel is right off i-10. Easy access on and off. Rooms are great for the price. Sammy at the front desk was really nice and helpful.

I have been staying in this hotel when in town for close to 5 years. I stay a week at least 4 times a year. I have seen the changes they are making to updating the rooms. They recommend locations that deliver food, services I might want. They call me by name and remember my company. They are a great place to stay and I highly recommed them to anyone.

Nice and clean hotel right off I10. Very convenient location if you are on a business trip near Downtown area. The local restaurants nearby are amazing. Most restaurants are within walking distance. The staff is always very helpful.

This is not a fancy place, but definitely a very practical one to stay in. Nicely located close to downtown and within a good radius of other interesting areas to visit in Houston. Includes breakfast, has microwave and a mini fridge. For us it was just what we needed.

Literally in the center of everything that you need or need to go, but still far off that it's not super loud at all. Very friendly staff. This is where I got as a birthday guft- my McStumpers. Thank you guys for making my birthday even better.

We had a great stay. The room was very clean and it was a great bargain for the short time we were there.

It's a good location, not far from the shopping area of Westeimer, and easy access to I-10 headed home west.

The room was clean and didn't smell of smoke. Also the staff was respectful and courteous.

This is a great small hotel. Quiet clean a very modern property and kept up
