Eye Street Cellars - Fine Wine, Spirits, & Beer

Incredibly professional. This business offers top notch customer service and leads through example. I had a order from another well known liquor store in DC that fell though at the last minute, but Eye Street Cellars was incredibly accommodating and in less than an hour had delivered over 50 bottles of wine.

Visiting from Oalkand for a family wedding in DC. My family and I were staying in the area, and this place ranked top when I was researching liquor stores near-by. I must say though, google reviews are close to accurate when it comes to assessing places to avoid landing in blindspots and getting dissapointed.
Happy I came to this store. Met the wonderful Mr. Joseph/Yosef. Happened to be from my community (Ethiopian/Eritrea). Gentleman of all gentlemen. Gave me great reccomendation for whiskey and chianti to take to the wedding hosts' house. Really beautiful selection across the board and a pleasant expereince throughout for me, thanks to Ato Yosef. Think of a liquor store the size of a supermarket. Row after row of endless liquor and wine finds. Sonor Wines America selection added with their Sangiovese, Grüner Veltliner, Zweigelt and Montepulciano to name a few 🍷

We began ordering a case at a time for delivery during the pandemic. The experience of ordering and delivery was so good, we continued ordering from Eye Street Cellars every two weeks since. Always greeted professionally with a friendly smile!

Nice selection & good pricing for how upscale it is. Really nicely organized and very clean. Good customer service. Dog friendly. Wine tasting offered .

After so many days with Covid we finally were able to drink! And I went to the store right across the street so I can get some wines and spirits.

They have a huge variety of wine and all type of spirit with OK prices not the best but they were OK. I end up buying a rosette for less than $10 and that’s a bargain honesty!

Service was quick and I pay with my credit card super fast.

This store has a wonderful selection of affordable French wines, which is a rarity in the US nowadays. I'm particularly happy with the Cotes de Rhone, Corbières and lesser Bordeaux. There is a fine selection of California wines as well. Best of all is the wonderful customer service provided by Pankaj, the co-owner, and Steve Bellman, who was the owner of Paul's Wines in Friendship Heights.

The Eye Street Cellars is a beautiful store. They have a wonderful selection and a knowledgeable, friendly staff. The modern look of the store is inviting and their shelves are well organized. They have tasting event that give you a chance to try something new, try before you buy :) watch their website for those events.

This is one of the nicest, cleanest liquor stores in DC and dog friendly! They always give my dog a little treat. Only wish it would stay open until 9.

I love this store! They have complimentary tastings every Fri & Sat and some on Thurs. I stopped in this past weekend for the tastings and they had a customer appreciation BBQ and gave me a cool straw hat!! Great selection and prices/deals!! Love Eye St Cellars.

I'm not a drinker but (out of sheer convenience) I was given the last minute task of finding a liquor store to grab a few items. Eye Street Cellars was a God send for two reasons - its hours and staff. The store opened at 11a (others nearby opened at 12p or later). I definitely wouldn't have been successful without the help of the staff. The two men were very patient given that I approached them several times for different reasons. They were very courteous - one of the men carried everything to the counter and THEN to my car (the "few items" turned out to be very bulky). I was given a great discount as well...I'm sure it had something to do with how much I bought (haha) but it was appreciated. I now have a go-to if I ever need to grab something for a last minute office function.

P.S. This has nothing to do with the store but just an fyi, parking was a little tricky so be prepared to possibly not park on the same street.

Best liquor store west of Schneider's, especially for craft beer lovers, and the only one I've found that's dog friendly. The customer service is outstanding; wine/beer tastings on Friday and Saturday evenings are a nice touch too.

I hosted a large event and the drinks were provided by Eye Street Cellars. I was extremely impressed by the quality of service provided-- they have efficient, gracious customer service and are very accommodating. The event went off without a hitch and we could not be more satisfied!

HUGE selection of liquor, wine, beer, and cider! I’d been looking for Abita Strawberry since I moved away from the south 4 years ago and they carried it! I can’t tell you how happy this made me. I can’t wait to go back here to try all the different types of craft beer they have, plus they had more brands of my favorite wine (Sancerre) than I’ve ever seen, and any kind of alcohol you might want. So happy to have this in the neighborhood!

Clean, well stocked, friendly staff. They even have treats for your pups. They have a small section of cheeses and such. Highly recommend Eye Street Cellars.

Great selection of wine and spirits at reasonable/market prices. The staff is friendly and helpful and if you have a specific wine that they do not carry they likely will order it for you.

The best I’ve seen in DC. Good selection, fair prices, and friendly staff. The convenience of the app/site is a nice bonus. A clean, well-stocked interior. Cant go wrong.

Great selection of beer, wine and liquor. The prices are not bad, and they'll happily provide a treat to any well behaved pups.

This is a small little bet store on the corner of a busy street. The woman inside was very attentive and informative, she knew a lot and pointed me in the right direction for a great beer, the prices were competitive for the area and I would definitely go back!
