My wife and I had came here on a Tuesday. It was quiet but there were enough people to make it nice. The food was deserving of four stars (better than average though not spectacular). It was the service, however that bumped it to give stars. About once a year I get the kind of host(ess) we had with Emily. She was awesome! She made out visit great! Highly recommend the fajita nachos.

Great restaurant. Would have given 5 stars for service but there was only person working front of the house during lunch. Food was well seasoned and tasted fresh. They had a very cool meeting room.

Great restaurant and cute decorations. Really good drinks too! Get the Paloma, it comes in these cute little clay pots. Husband loved his chicken fried steak and my polbano enchiladas were AWESOME. Creamy, tangy, delicious. We will definitely be back!

1st time bein there i had shrimp fajitas they were really good....

Service was a bit slow starting out BUT we did go a bit late. So perhaps earlier is better. But the food was AMAZING!!! The Chile Rellano was absolutely amazing!!! Fish tacos were great and the quesofido was new for us and great choice! My new favorite place here in town!

Great food, good service. Prices are a little high considering half the plate is rice and beans. The main courses are tasty though.

This place has the best polbano grilled chicken and veggies I have ever had. The wait staff is also very courteous and attentive especially Caitlin. I highly recommend this restaurant and the drinks are delicious too. We will definitely be back soon.

We had my daughter in law's birthday party there and it was a great little country venue, true to Texas county theme. The food was yummy, the dining area spacious and the staff was so accommodating, really seeking to serve well!

First time at this restaurant since its been reopened under a new name. The food was excellent! The enchiladas were fantastic. The puffy taco was the best I've ever eaten. I saved it for last as the enchiladas were so good and it was not soggy or falling apart. It still had the perfect crunch. I will go back just to eat those. The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. I will go back and try some other dishes too. And a puffy taco al a cart

Excellent food at average prices. I had a great steak, juicy with average flavor. The service was prompt and attentive, and I had a great time with friends. Plenty of space and a patio for an outdoor option. I'll definitely be back.

This place is sooooooo good! If you love some good Mexican food this is DEFINITELY the place to try! I’ve been here a few times and my experience is always terrific! If you live near it’s definitely worth a try! Enjoy!

after reading Danielle's review, I decided to take her advice and get a Paloma drink from the bar and ordered the Fajitas Nachos. Great advice Danielle! To add the Icing to the cake, we just so happened to be waited on by EMILY who was mentioned by Danielle as a wonderful waitress. My mother was impressed with Emily, and likewise for myself. Thanks Emily, we shall return!

We had a large party and the waitress was great! Good food friendly atmosphere and staff! Highly recommended we visited on 3/25 a Friday and it was great service

This place had great food, and the staff was so polite. We walked in at 3:50 and they where just about to close but the manager told us to sit down and they would serve us which was so nice he didn't have to do that but he did. Definitely recommend this place. The staff was so nice and accommodating.

My search for a good chicken taco salad in La Vernia is over. Melanie's was attractively plated as well as tasted good. The grilled chicken was well seasoned, the shell was crispy and there was no grease or liquid settled at the bottom. The service was excellent. Will be back.
