Great selection of sporting equipment and active apparel. Always have great sales and clearance. I enjoy coming here to see what all they have. Staff are nice and helpful too.

Came into purchase shoes for my dad who is at the hospital with a foot wound and he needs shoes that he can slide into but they won't hang on the back of his foot or his bandages. The staff were very helpful and finding me matching pairs of shoes and drastically different sizes to accommodate his bandaged foot.

I'm sorry that I did not get the names of the guys in the shoe department who helped me but I do hope that you will remember that I bought eight pairs of shoes and varying sizes but only two styles!

Great fishing selection here at this store. I love stopping in these different locations since they seem to all carry different lures depending on where you are in the state.

The ammo selection here is great and decently priced as well. I also buy all of my collared work shirts here since they carry a lot of the good brands of fishing shirts.

Love the selection here, bought my heavy bag and still have it and let's be honest we all go for the firearms and the selection is amazing.

These guys' fishing shirts, especially the ones made with "heather" fabric, are just plain magical, especially in the heat. They are the only shirts I have found that are truly, fully wash-and-wear. Not a single wrinkle if you pluck them from the dryer within 15 minutes of the cycle ending. Reasonably priced too.

Really nice employees. They are out of bench presses, possibly due to covid,but I was able to find one by luck!

Arrived late store was closing in 30 minutes, looking for new boots, tried several on and even though we ran out of time the employees were helpful, they didn't try to push us out of the store they helped find what we went in for, thank you for actually taking care of us and not making us leave before we were able to find boots that fit
Returned to look at patio heaters, they had a great selection and were priced less than the other local stores, thank you Academy, I bought the one I had been looking for at a great price

the line was long from all the Christmas shoppers. but they had a lot of cashiers so I didn't have to wait long.

Never a bad experience at this Academy or any other location ever. Even when they are busy they get that check out line moving.

Swimming items are still on the immideate satisfaction list and I won't wait for online delays. Academy is normally where I go because they keep them in store year round. Most other places keep it as a seasonal item. Swimmers live year round, not just in the summer.

Frank at the firearms counter is amazing. I've done a few transactions with Frank and also just general customer interactions and he is such a humble guy. Always has jokes up his sleeve and makes my days brighter. I'll be back in a couple of weeks!

The staff here are totally laid back yet Profesional and know their stuff. The staff has gone over and above any expectation I had to help customer in need of service. Will definitely go back.

I found so many things! I wanted! For example the Yeti Honeycomb Bucket Lid for my Bucket. The cute teal gun! Like very expensive rods and reels all in my Tiffany Blue color. Apparently I have a great expensive taste. Fun but we were there just for fishing licenses. Keeping it legal folks.
