I had a great experience with Donna at this store! Very straightforward, knowledgable, and no pushy up-selling. I had a wonderful time trying on shoes and buying a pair I loved! I will be back for more purchases.

Brad was spectacular! He was very professional and took the time needed to find the perfect shoe for me. My experience was very enjoyable. This was my second visit to this location and the other sales people showed equal dedication to a job well done. I will most certainly be back!

Brad was very helpful and kind enough to give me a replacement pair of On cloudrunner shoes after the pair i bought from them 3.5 months ago got a shear tear (probably due to a manufacturing defect) in the inside fabric of the right shoe. Now im ready for my half marathon next week :)

Stumbled upon the store walking around DC and stopped in looking for new shoes to help with some foot pain. Cindy was incredibly helpful providing me with a ton or options and great advice. She was amazing and I’m super happy with my purchase.

I'm always down to support a local business. Their foot scan machine is incredibly comprehensive and gives a lot of good info that you can take with you. Brad was very knowledgeable and explained what the scan's results meant (my partner needed inserts to combat diff arch sizes). He also patiently helped my partner try on a variety of shoe sizes and styles. It was just a friendly atmosphere with great customer service!

I don't know that much about shoes, so I decided to go here to get a new pair. I usually go through three to four pairs of shoes a year, so I was looking for something more durable. The staff was very helpful, and stood by while I tried on not only five but six pairs of shoes. The pair I wear now have lasted more than 8 months, which is unheard of based on all the walking I do. Would highly recommend!!

I used to visit when I lived in DC, and was back on a recent trip. I wore a hole through my sole (I walk a lot!) and needed another pair of boots right away, they made a great suggestion and had socks in stock (mine were soaking wet). Saved my trip!

I have been a customer of Comfort One Shoes for many years. I love that store; all the employees provide an excellent customer service. Last week I shopped again at Comfort One Shoes at the Dupont Circle and Brad was excellent; he helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Since the shoes I was looking for were not in stock at that location, he called the Georgetown to see if these shoes are in stock there. They were. Todd helped me at the Georgetown store and he was also very professional and knowledgeable. Had a fantastic time working with Brad: he set me up with a new pair of shoes and inserts (after trying on quite a few pairs that weren’t quite right), and also helped me fix a pair of shoes I thought were beyond saving. Just a high-quality local shoe store, with particular emphasis on Birkenstocks, Blundstones, Ons, and other Euro-type shoes. Helpful and knowledgeable staff and good on-site inventory.

Have come here twice, once to buy Birks and once to buy boots, and had a good experience each time (and they remembered my last visit). They also have a useful machine on-site that can analyze your arch and recommend orthotics.

I wasn't able to buy the shoe I wanted (the size did not exist), but the guy running the store was extremely helpful. He was also very knowledgeable about the products they sold and will give good recommendations if asked. I may not have found my shoe this time around, but I will definitely be back.

Also, the shoes they sell all look and feel comfortable. They really emphasize comfort over fashion/style. But, there are gems there that have both style and comfort.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the best shoe buying experience I’ve had in my adult years. I went in for a pair of dressy sandals that would also give my feet the support they need. A pleasant lady named Michelle helped me, and she began by finding my exact size with this high-tech mat. She then brought out two different pairs of shoes I wanted to try on, and told me about the fit of each. I loved them both, and she helped me decide which one to ultimately purchase.

She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor–such a class act. I’ll definitely be back for that second pair.

I have been shopping at Comfort One for roughly twenty-five years. I have problems with my feet and this is the only store I have bought shoes at in many years. They never try to "sell" me shoes, but rather to find a shoe that will work with my problems. The staff is well trained and professional.

My girlfriend & I went in to look at ladies shoes our salesperson was Aioki.
He was extremely helpful my friend bought a pair of shoes. I did not find anything but not for his lack of trying....It was our first time in DC and when we got there it was pretty late at night he has a great warm, kind personality & took plenty of time with us. He was a terrific salesperson for such a young soul...He told us a place to go for dinner. We were both impressed with him my friend lives in New York & I in Chicago.
